I thought the tamales will be good… there are not! It’s hard to find someone who makes them good with flavor when I don’t feel like making them. We had several bones and weird stuff in our dozens. The taste of the Meat is bland and it doesn’t taste good….

I don’t recommend. Don’t waste your money on them. I bought a couple dozens thinking they were good. I should of got the half dozen to try them first… The after taste of them taste like a fresh kill Barbacoa 🤢🤢Come on el Milagro.

where is the authenticity?.

I can’t say much about the taste of the tortillas or chips. I may have had them at a restaurant not knowing it. What I can attest to, is the terrible smell that comes from their factory on a daily basis.

It used to be occasional. Now it’s daily. Driving on 35 past their factory, your car is instantly filled what can only be described as the fragrance of a Midsummer music festival porta potty. I even reached out to the facility, and was told that it was due to the cities infrastructure malfunctioning.

I called the city, they then told me that it was due to the fact that El Milagro tortilla factory’s filtering station is outdated and in disrepair. It is not suited to handle the volume. Thank you El Milagro for causing the southern quarter of our small town to constantly smell like hot fecal matter.

I have been trying to find these tortillas everywhere since the shortage. I finally was able to buy a couple packs from jewels. The first pack was fine. But the second pack I was trying to happily eat this morning with huevo and chorizo and all of the tortillas had a weird funky smell but there’s one specifically that I picked up that had almost like a man sweat smell i quickly turned over to my husband so that he can confirm the bad odor and he smelled the same exact thing and said we should probably not eat them.

I gagged wanting to throw up and quickly got rid of them. Don’t think I’ll be eating these again anytime soon.

I don’t understand the complaints, reading them it sounds like people were wanting flour tortillas or tex-mex style soft tacos, not corn tortillas. Thats on them for not paying attention to what they were buying.

These are the best store bought corn tortillas I have had, my second favorite is La Bandaria, and its the brand I buy when I want flour tortillas, but these are my first choice for corn tortillas. They have always been fresh, soft, and fairly pliable even before heating through on the griddle.

My family prefers corn tortillas most of the time and only get flour once in a while, but thats just what my kids have been raised on mostly as their father is Mexican and thats just what is normally eaten as flour is more expensive than masa as its not grown as easily.

These are almost as good as homemade. not quite as good, but considering how long it takes to make a decent amount of corn tortillas these win out everytime with the exception of birthday meals, and holidays.

Ok, these suck for making rolled tacos. Normally with the better brand corn tortillas I can warm a stack real good in the microwave and roll them up right before I put them in the oil no problem. But these are ANNOYING because even during roll up these break apart or start splitting ugh.

If you just need to warm up one of these and toss some cheese into them they work. No other use though seriously get the other brand! Uggggh. Now I am a Karen lol only edited to give 1 not 2 star bc I’m mad!.

We honestly have corn tortillas everyday, not only on Taco Tuesdays. It is a great value to get 110 tortillas, in 2 separate packages, that are easy to store/freeze, and the price cannot be compared.

This is a great offer which we are taking advantage of, I strongly recommend it. Besides, there are so many ways that you can use the tortillas in your meals, my favorite dish is either, enchiladas, or tostadas.

Tortillas really come in handy, especially when you have company, make some delicious quezadillas (cheese crisps), your company will love them, and they are filling!.

Ive purchased these corn tortillas many times before and i love them they taste delicious and are very soft but this last time they were delivered all broken. It seem like they weren’t carefully with the packaging and almost all of the were in small pieces.

Sad because you cant use them for wraps or make tacos like that so wasnt happy about it.

These are okay definitely recommend heating them up like it says on the packet I have now become gluten intolerant so I have to do the gluten-free corn ones as I said they’re okay but I don’t really have a choice in the eating matter.

It taste pretty good when you mix lemon and cracked pepper tuna,Mayo and cucumber that’s what I had last night for dinner and for me to like it that’s what I put on it. .

I love corn tortillas. I like to make soft tacos, enchiladas, and flautas. They’re a great value. I wouldn’t change the recipe. They do tear apart if you don’t heat them rely well before using in recipes.

I work for a restaurant and we make Chips with corn tortillas almost every day. When there’s nothing else left on the shelf and we have to buy something, this is it. I’ve never disliked corn torts before, but the time you have to take to get these apart is unbelievable.

The water content in them is what causes the problem, that and they’re very likely under cooked. I’ve thrown away my weight in stuck together torts that rip and crumble apart. Such a headache to deal with and the chips you manage to make are subpar at best.

I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone. 3 dollars today is worth way more than poorly made tortillas. I’d gladly spend twice as much on half the amount of the Mission brand or even Kroger brand as they make excellent chips with no hassle.

We love making our own Chicken Quesadillas so these tortillas were right up our alley! They were soft and fresh and were perfect in the frying pan for the Quessadillas. These say large on the packaging but I would consider them more to be small to medium sized.

But they held all the fillings perfectly and didn’t crack or split when folding or rolling. We also used them cold as a roll up for tuna salad roll ups and for cold lunch meats. You can basically use them for what ever you like! The flavor is mild and doesn’t overpower what ever you are filling them with.

They are very versatile! I will definitely be buying this brand again!.

I have a street taco food truck, the sizes of these have become very inconsistent. Some are correct at 4 1/2″ and others are nearly like a 6″ taco shell. I know these are mission brand, but when i buy them from the grocery store they are more uniform and consistant on size.

Quality is great, only issue is size.

Have gone through 6 cases of these now hoping we just had a bad batch. Have discarded about 2+ cases worth as they stick together and tear apart. Not sure the problem, either packaged too warm initially or too much pressure on packaging, but the sticking together is chronic.

I love these and now would genuinely choose these Mission Carb Balance Soft Taco Flour Tortillas over the regular flour tortillas at a store because the regular flour tortillas make me feel weighed down and the texture isn’t as soft as this! These are so easy to do! I take shredded chicken mix it with Mexican refried beans, shredded Mexican cheese, some jalapenos and shredded lettuce wrap them cover them in moist paper towel and throw them in the microwave for a minute.

Absolutely delicious as a snack or a meal. The tortillas themselves are so soft and pillowy, they don’t break apart, they don’t get stale quickly because honestly they don’t last in my house long enough to do so, I also like using them for tacos, We have several little toy breed dogs in our home and these are one of the favorite everyday treat, let me correct myself, the favorite everyday treat.

They’re the perfect size for small breeds and are easy for them to chew. They don’t have many calories so they can have several a day and they’re not messy. They’ve been making them for over 100 years and milk bone is a brand that I can trust.

I like that they’re nice and crunchy because they help clean the tartar off of the dog’s teeth which helps keep those teeth in the mouth and not pulled. I definitely recommend these in any size depending on your breed of dog.

So today I just purchased the carb balance spinach wrap. When I got home I started reading the nutrition label and realize that there’s NO WAY that one tortilla has 60 cal. Based on the simple nutritional fact that there’s 9 calories per gram of fat, 4 calories per grams of carbohydrates and 4 calories per gram of protein.

When I added up and take 3 1/2 g of fat times nine, 18 g of carbohydrates times four and 6 g of protein times for that totals 127. 5 calories. So perhaps they meant to say in half a tortilla and not a full one.

Otherwise the labels totally misrepresentative. Even if they in accurately calculated it based on the total carbohydrates it’s still not 60 cal per tortilla that would reduce the carb calorie count to 67.

5 calories per wrap. But I have never seen where calories didn’t include the full carbohydrate count, so I’m wondering what’s up??.

These 10 inch pressed flour tortillas are the perfect size for making quesadillas with. Mission has always been one of my favorites when it comes to buying tortillas simply because of how great the quality is.

The Carb Balance tortillas are a wonderful product and I have used them for several years. When I first started using them, they were 10 inches in diameter. The last few purchases (orders made online), the tortillas were 8 inches in diameter at approximately the same price as the 10″ ones; two sizes were not available for choices.

I may have missed it, but I have seen nothing to alert consumers to the size difference. Why are the 10″ Carb Balance tortillas no longer available for consumer purchase? Why is there no pricing adjustment relative to the size? I found no diameter data on the packaging.

Because of the reduction in size with no pricing adjustment and the lack of consumer information re the reduced size and pricing, I am lowering the Value Rating. Also FYI, one of the large grocers still has the nutrition label for the 10″ size on its web site through Ibotta even though the product description states the size as 8″.

So glad I found these in New England! Albeit not as tender as the familiar ones I enjoyed in Texas, these are flexible and have a unique texture like the way that multigrain bread is different, cook perfectly in a dry, hot skillet (puffed and charred as if cooked over a flame) and make hearty tacos you can hold nested in one hand that stay together with whatever juicy goodies you stuff in them.

I had mine yesterday with chili beans, homemade guacamole and shredded cheese and tasted each component. I love that they’re yellow corn which has a richer flavor that makes it pop, and are non-GMO. Really these are restaurant quality.

I’ve always been a corn tortilla lover- it’s easier to chew than flour and overall the taste is way better (IMO). I usually make my own due to so many preservatives in store bought brands. When I saw these were made with very few ingredients, I jumped all over it.

These have an overwhelming funky smell and have a funny taste. They also take Forever to reach an acceptable texture when grilling in a pan. Ended up tossing the entire package away. Back to making my own.

What’s on the package is the real deal. These do taste everything like handmade, homemade tortillas. I love that they are a blend of corn and wheat because it’s the best of both worlds: the corn flavor with the flexibility and sturdiness of a flour tortilla.

This item was a substitution. The item title looks like you’re ordering one 25 oz pack of tortillas. I picked it and other items up curbside. I received 5 packs of tortillas (30 in each pack) but I didn’t get a chance to look at it until I got home.

On my purchase history it said I ordered a quantity of 150, at $2. 33/each, which explained the weird $300 hold on my account. In speaking with customer service for the return I learned even if I refunded to the one pack I wanted, I would be paying $69.

90 for a pack of 30 tortillas. I’m returning all of them.

I need the larger size tortillas, not these dinky ones. This happened once before when I was sent 2 packages of 30 small tortillas. I now have a collection of 120 small tortillas that I have no use for.

I believe I ordered the 18 count, not the 30 count. I wouldn’t order 2 packs of the 30 count. I am one person eating one taco a day. if that. So now I have a lot of hamburger and zero tortillas. Any suggestions?.

I recieved these for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I usually choose flour when buying tortillas. I tasted them without anything on them, these tortillas had a powdery/flour aftertaste, but they smelled like plastic – unlike other tortillas I’ve tried.

When you add meat or anything else it’s less noticeable. The plastic smell could have been due to them getting hot while shipping, being packaged in plastic, and sitting on my porch for several hours in the heat.

They held up well, which is a plus. I’d be willing to buy these in store and try them again to see if they still had the plastic smell.

I’ve been maintaining my weight with Weight Watchers for years. I recently discovered these tortillas. I eat them almost every day sometimes twice/day. My husband eats them with whatever leftover meat we have available.

The easiest meal in a pinch. Street tacos every day is the life for me! I love them but I have a hard time finding them. That’s my only complaint.

I don’t know what kind of black magic is in here but these taste even better than regular corn tortillas! They have been a carb savior and great addition to their collection. I don’t think I will go back to regular tortillas.

Since moving to the UK I have really missed authentic masa corn tortillas. I have tried importing maseca and making them myself but it is not an easy thing to master. These corn tortillas are the closest thing I’ve seen in the UK (at a reasonable price) to authentic corn tortillas not these wheat flour hybrid wrap things you usually get in supermarkets.

Please don’t stop making them. I buy at least six packets at a time when I visit asda and there is usually plenty of date on them. Yes they are small and have the distinct corn smell but that it how they are meant to be.

Don’t expect a big wrap. Buy more than what you think you will need. Perfect for street tacos or fried crispy tacos too. Five star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

I’ve recently found out I am gluten intolerant so looking for good gf options because I really do like tortillas. I tried specifically labelled gluten free ones and found they were very floury and not that great.

These are gorgeous, but be aware they are the size of your hand (to be fair, they are meant for tacos so if you think about the size of hard taco shells, that’s how big they are) but for me this was fine, I just have two small wraps instead of one! Which is much nicer than having a normal size wrap but having to have the powdery gf flour ones.

Wish I’d have checked reviews before purchasing as I assumed these would be like other Old El Paso wraps, only smaller. On opening the packet, I was greeted with such an overpowering chemical smell it was unbelievable.

It smelt like they’d been packaged in an atmosphere of petrol, it really was incredibly strong. Will definitely not be purchasing again.

Flour tortillas are ridiculously high in sodium, so I tried corn tortillas, which are really low, but also tend to break and fall apart easily, making them difficult to use. Then I tried these. Just as low in sodium as the corn tortillas, but the consistency is closer to the flour tortillas.

They still break easier than the flour ones do, but not so bad that it makes them unusable. They also taste great! I like the taste better than flour or corn tortillas.

I haven’t found a lot of options out there for tortilla shells, other than hard shells with low salt. These shells are great! I had no Idea that our flour tortillas we’ve been eating our whole lives had so much salt.

I like to eat a wrap for lunch and these shell work perfectly and a much healthier option.

I suppose they were somehow no longer fresh, they crumbled into pieces when I tried to fold them in half. I’ve found this to be true a few times when I purchased them from other companies. Now I put my tacos on buns.

Romero’s Corn Tortillas are a favorite because they maintain their flexibility even after they’ve been heated on the stovetop. Note: If you heat tortillas in the microwave, you often end up with frisbees, so beware.

These tortillas stay soft and supple after heating, great for tacos.

These tortillas are very fresh and a great bargain, but the flavor and texture are just ok. I much prefer yellow corn tortillas, and these are white corn. They are a bit flavorless, and they are a bit thick for hard taco shells.
