Conditioner is designed to help add moisture and shine to hair, while also helping to detangle and tame frizz. Thick, wavy hair can often be prone to frizz and flyaways, so a good conditioner can help to smooth the hair and make it more manageable.
If you have thick, wavy hair, look for a conditioner that is designed for your hair type and that will help to add moisture and tame frizz.
Make sure your locks have all the moisture they need to shine with the OUAI Thick Hair Conditioner. Thanks to its innovative formula, there’s no need to put up with dryness just because regular conditioners don’t quite do the job.
Rich in hydrating Shea Butter and Avocado Oil, the conditioner helps to fight frizz by coating strands in a protective shield that stops water loss in its tracks, locking in essential moisture for silky-smooth results.
Fortified with Hydrolysed Keratin, your hair fibres will appear stronger and more resilient when it comes to brushing and styling, helping you to maintain a healthy look for longer. Marshmallow Root is a natural emollient, meaning knots won’t stand a chance.
Enjoy soft, detangled hair that’s easy to run your fingers through. The conditioner is infused with a delicate scent made up of bright Orange and Peony and joined by Jasmine, Magnolia, Orris and Musk, making for a subtle, uplifting aroma that stays with you after washing.
For reference: I have LONG hair with a naturally wavy/curly texture, and with that comes frizz. A lot of it – even though I’m very aware of how to tame it (naturally kept or with a blow-out). My hair behaves weirdly, i’ll just put it that way – it’s difficult to achieve perfectly smooth styles.
HOWEVER. I’ve been using OUAI products (I started with the THICK SHAMP+THICK COND. ) for a little bit over a year now & all I can say is. I will NEVER go back to anything else, ever, unless I find something AS extraordinary as this brand.
It’s like magic in a bottle, to me at least. I have never experienced better hair (at home, done by me) in my entire life. It’s insanely smooth & silky. I have such minimal frizz now. I normally need to blow dry AND straighten my hair, but I am beyond satisfied with just the blow-dried results.
The only cons, I would say, is that because there’s such rich and moisturizing ingredients (love to see it!) your hair can become a tad oily after the third day, even second sometimes. You just need to figure out what the right amount of product is for you so that you don’t over do it.
The second con, though it’s nothing too crazy, would be that sometimes I end up needing more product in the shower, as it doesn’t lather suuuuper well – but again, this depends on hair length and the amount that you know you need.
I guess I just wish it foamed a bit more, is all. BUT these are such small things that can be resolved & aren’t much of a big deal. Thank you OUAI x times a million <3 I hope these formula's never change! :) BEST CHOICE I'VE EVER MADE FOR MY HAIR !.
I do not have fine or thin hair, but it isn’t course or thick – I just have a lot of it. Because of that I struggle with volume at the roots and most shampoos and conditions either clean my hair and leave me with a dry scalp and flat hair, or it is weighted down and gets oily quick.
No matter what, I always have to use a volumizer and still dont achieve the hairs goals I dream of. FINALLY! The hair of my dreams has arrived!!!! (Actually, I am still working on growing it out) I took their quiz on Ouai’s website and was recommended the medium shampoo & conditioner.
I went with my gut after reading the ingredients/goals and got the fine shampoo & conditioner. MY FOREVER DUO! I have used this combo and both air dried my hair and blow-dried my hair. Each time my results were amazing!!!! Naturally air-drying my hair left me with loads of body and volume and not only looked healthy, clean and bouncy – but it also felt amazing and smelled wonderful.
When I blow-dried my hair, I had so much volume and it did not fall at all. I wash my hair twice a week and have to use dry shampoo and with this combo I made it through workouts and sleeping crazy and still had clean hair.
That is a FIRST!!! I switched to the Super Dry Shampoo before turning their shampoo/conditioner and loved it. now I don’t even have to use it unless I want a little refresh but overall I am good to go.
I am so happy with the results from this shampoo and the whole Ouai line.
Buy this! Remove the other shampoo you have in your cart while your reading reviews debating which $30-$50 shampoo is better. I’ve been there reading reviews wondering maybe the $50 shampoo is magical.
I love me some Living proof and Olaplex believe me. I bought this and will not go back. I don’t even know how to pronounce the name of this shampoo but buy it. It has a light/ med rose scent. But the shampoo left my hair soft before I used the conditioner.
The conditioner was amazing it felt like my hair melted into silk. I also used the hair mask for thick hair, but honestly I think the regular conditioner made my hair feel smoother. I have super curly FRIZZY hair which I straighten 5 of 7 days a week.
My hair feels great like that left the salon great. Buy this, I don’t know who’s leaving bad reviews on this. They must be angry people who can be made happy by anything, or they don’t like the color, smell, the shape of the bottle of something else that has nothing to do with the actual product.
I never leave reviews but I’m telling you buy this delete that other shampoo out of your cart and buy this.
Curly hair is beautiful, use Rizos and go show those curls off girl! Con Amor, Julissa. Rizos Curls is created from the heart and is my perfect formula for bouncy, shiny, defined, frizz-free, soft, voluminous curls.
With Rizos Curls, I finally turned my dream into a reality. I wanted a product made with quality ingredients that could celebrate all curl types, from my Tia’s coily strands to my sister’s loose waves.
I spent years searching for the perfect formula. While battling with my hair over the years, I told myself that one day I would create the very best product for curly-haired girls like me. I hid it in a tight, gelled-down ponytail, wore it à la crunchy with extra hairspray, and even straightened with a clothes iron! As a little girl, I saved my money to buy every curl product I found – but nothing ever worked.
Message from the founder: Growing up, I went through many phases with my curly hair. Also popular with 4a, 4b and 4c hair types. Ideal for 3a, 3b and 3c type hair. Contains no silicones, sulphates or parabens.
Sunflower Oil Stimulates hair growth, reduces product build up and alleviates dry scalp. Olive Oil Nourishes scalp, improves hair elasticity, moisturises hair from within. This special formula features Key Natural Ingredients.
I discovered RizosCurls earlier this year and was excited to learn about their “curl love is self love” philosophy. I received their Rizos Reina Box for my birthday and from then on continued using their products (most frequently the shampoo/conditioner).
I loved the way it made my curls soft, hydrated, and bouncy. I recommended it to my sister a couple of months ago and we used it simultaneously for around 2-3 months. For some time now ( I can’t pinpoint exactly when that’s why it was so difficult for me to name these products as the culprits) I’ve noticed increasing hair loss.
I blamed it on everyday stress, changes in diet, and even the weather. I went back to check the reviews RizosCurls received on Ulta randomly and noticed that some had written about hair loss. I mentioned this offhand to my sister a couple of weeks ago and that’s when she told me she’d started to notice hair loss too.
Immediately, I stopped using these products and bought a different shampoo. Since then, I have noticed the excessive hair loss stop. I’m disappointed and hurt that this brand I loved so much ended up causing me bigger problems than I originally had.
I don’t know how many of their products I can trust, but since i used the conditioner with the shampoo I stopped both. Did it give me the illusion of soft, healthy, and moisturized hair? Yes. Are the newly discovered bald spots worth it? Never.
LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! It has been a holy grail for over a year now. After i ran out, i thought i’d switch it up and use function of beauty’s conditioner for curly hair (also curly method approved) and i noticed my scalp and eczema had gotten worse over time from not using Rizzo’s Curls DC.
I have 2b/2c hair, on the thinner side but still dense, and this doesn’t weigh down my hair AT ALL! if it weighs yours down, make sure you’re using it right and using enough water with it! conditioner does not provide moisture by sitting on the hair, it provides moisture by locking in the water in your hair.
Water is a conduit, and it’s the one true hydrant you need. This conditioner is the best at locking it all in and keeping my scalp moisturized! I went from washing everyday to now about every 4-5 days!.
I like this conditioner. Leaves my hair feeling very soft and smooth. I don’t have extremely curly hair but it does define my waves to make them appear more curlier. I however don’t think the price and the amount you get is justifiable since other products of this same size go for $8-10.
If it was $10 cheaper than I’d give 5 stars. But $20 for both shampoo and conditioner adds up and almost seems a bit steep for something that doesn’t exactly do anything differently than other products I’ve used.
Thankfully I’ve got shorter hair so I don’t ever feel like I’m using a lot of this product. But I’d recommend it to someone who isn’t worried about spending an extra $10 for something that does what Shea Moisture does.
Follow up your cleanse with an enriching conditioner formulated for wavy and curly hair. Wellnesse uses silicone-free ingredients like hydrating shea butter and moisturizing rice extract to bring the bounce and tame frizz.
Finally found the perfect natural shampoo! I have thick hair with a somewhat coarse hair texture. Previous natural shampoos did not cleanse my scalp well and left a greasy, oily film. This shampoo completely cleanses my hair and scalp WITHOUT being drying!! My hair is already softer, smoother and healthier looking.
You can’t beat the price point for a natural shampoo either. I’ve actually doubled the amount of days I can go between washes with this shampoo, so definitely a money saver there as well. I’ve finally ended my natural shampoo search after 10+ years! You will not regret this purchase!.
This conditioner is truly the most nourishing conditioner I’ve ever used and I love the smell. The only way it could be better is if it came in a bigger size. I have very long hair that tangles easily so I use a lot of conditioner.
Also I usually only brush/comb my hair in the shower while the conditioner is in. I know that’s not recommended but it’s literally the only time I can get it untangled. Anyone with wavy or curly hair knows what happens if you brush dry hair.
Unfortunately this conditioner is not slick enough to allow me to continue brushing in the shower, so I’m having a real dilemma deciding wether or not to order again. I do love it in every other way.
So this is the most unique product I have used. I did not expect it to smooth my hair like a silicone laden conditioner and it didn’t (you know the ones that make it so easy to comb through your tresses).
It is not like that kind of conditioner at all. Its better. I have used natural conditioner in the past and did not like it because I could not comb my hair after. It was a battle and one that I was not willing to have consistently so I went back to different brands of the same old junk I grew up using.
Well this conditioner was radically different and absorbed into my hair like water into a sponge. Interesting. I do use a generous amount and it just soaks right in. I let it marinate for about 5 mins on average then rinse and comb with a super wide tooth comb while in the shower.
I can comb it gently with no issues. Again, not as easy to comb as when using the typical conditioner that gives your hair that slick and slimy feel. I am not losing hair in the process either. It is definitely different but in a good way! I love it.
I highly recommend. I use with the cleansing shampoo for all hair types and my hair is light, hydrated (not oily not heavy), has body and is lustrous. It looks healthy and beautiful. I am highly satisfied with both products.
My expectations were exceeded and now I am just disgusted by other chemical and silicone laden conditioners I have used. Gross.
Super Smooth Conditioner What does it do? Protein Free. Required moisture. This is a lightweight creamy conditioner that will lightly hydrate your hair. The first ingredient in this amazing conditioner is organic aloe.
Infused with an oil & extract blend to help lightly moisturize hair without weighing it down. Scent 100% oil scent. Revitalizing citrus aroma creates a sense of well-being that permeates spirit, mind, and body.
This product has changed the experience of not only mine but my little boys curly hair. This incredible conditioner being the deep moisture that our hair desperately needed. I could feel the difference the first time I used it while I was still in the shower.
It gives your hair the slick slippery feel that lets you know your hair is going to have the perfect moisture it needs to look healthy, full and tons of volume. The best part is that a little goes a long way.
I use a quarter of what I normally do with my other conditioners. It also keeps your curls looking head turning for days. This will NOT be one of the many failed products that takes up space in your bathroom.
I bought this for the first time when I bought everything Bounce Curl for the first time and so far, it’s the only product I’ve needed to restock. The styling creams and gel are going to last me a long, long time with my thin 3b curls.
I also liked the gentle cleansing shampoo but my scalp has been through a lot and I am not 100% certain I am not allergic to that, the cream conditioner or the Ayurvedic treatment conditioner. This product is straightforward, clean, tremendous slip and does not cause any scalp irritation for me whatsoever! Thank you for making this – it seems the recipe is slightly different from when I first bought it so I just hope it works the same!.
Ima start this review being HONEST I first tried bounce curl a few yrs back when there was only the Light Creme gel, my hair was DAMAGED & it did NOT work well so I strayed away from it even when new products came out because my experience didn’t let me “believe the hype” But let me just sayyyyyyyy yrs later now with about 85% healthier curls I’m so glad I’m giving bounce curl a try again.
This is my first cleanser from them & OMG!!! I have fine hair which is usually pretty straight when wet & for the FIRST time I have CURLS WHILE SOAKING WET!!! I don’t use cleansing conditioners aka co washes so i don’t have what to compare it with but I love how it felt on my scalp and ends of hair how I was able to finger detangle with it on and the smelllllllll! It’s a different scent from the other 3 products I’ve tried (leave in, clump & define, deep conditioner) but it’s still a pleasant scent for ME! I just wanted to keep applying product even tho my hair was saturated lol.
Ughhh it’s so good I’m leaving this long *** review!! Haha! Thanks again bounce curl! I am now a believer!! & a new loyal customer xoxoxo.
OUAI Thick Hair Conditioner is a rich, moisturising conditioner scientifically formulated to strengthen and calm thick, frizz-prone hair. Enhanced with marshmallow root, shea butter, avocado oil and hydrolysed keratin, this paraben- and sulphate-free conditioner from OUAI’s daily care range is a must for flyaway hair.
Infused with the brand’s Mercer Street fragrance ‘ a blend of orange, peony, magnolia, jasmine, musk and orris ‘ this simple staple leaves strands optimally hydrated and beautifully smooth.
I’m a beauty editor and have been for the last 10 years. In that time I’ve had the privilege of testing hundreds of beauty products. When this shampoo and conditioner landed on my desk to test out, I was excited as so many people had been singing the praises of the line.
After testing this shampoo/conditioner for 4 weeks, my hair looked the absolute worst. This product left my hair feeling squeaky clean – and not in a good way. It was as if all the healthy oils had been stripped from my scalp and hair.
The fragrance didn’t bother me. What bothered me was how my hair looked when dry. It was brittle, frizzy, lackluster, dry as a bone and difficult to manage. I had never used anything in the 10 years of editing that was this bad.
I’m Indian and have long, healthy dark locks that are medium in density and thickness. This shampoo/conditioner left my hair feeling as if the slightest tug on it would break/rip out all my hair. Something to note: alcohol in beauty products are used as stabilizing agents.
Typically, the types of alcohols in beauty products reap no negative affects on the subject using them, rather they are used as absorbing agents so the products sink into your skin/hair quickly and as so the additional ingredients don’t degrade as fast.
This product contains isopropyl alcohol. It’s typically used in products like disinfectants, cleaning agents, paint thinners etc. , as it’s an effective killer of bacteria. That being said, it is extremely stripping and drying which is why it leaves your hair feeling parched and stripped of all moisture.
Over consistent use, this will make your hair cuticle brittle, rough and prone to breakage. Proceed with caution if you want to use this. Honestly, I’d say save yourself the money and find something else.
wow. i love the ouai leave in conditioner, so i thought i would love this too! but it’s awful. first of all, the fragrance is horrific! it’s a different scent than the leave in conditioner, it literally smells like old lady perfume or a thrift shop.
and you can’t over look it because it’s so strong. it gave me a headache. the smell lingered on my hands and hair for hours after my shower. also, after my first use my hair was frizzier than it ever had been.
i looked crazy. others have talked about it causing waxy build up over time, but im definitely not going to use this long enough to find out if that’s true. sadly, this is an immediate return. the packaging is absolutely beautiful, but that won’t justify buying this ever again.
Omg okay, these are the best hair products I have ever tried, and believe me I have tried a lot! My hair is long, frizzy, and wavy but not the nice kinds of waves, the waves that are messy and just frizzy strands.
I bought the medium hair shampoo, conditioner, mask, leave-in conditioner, and air dry foam and I loved everything so much that I went ahead and bought the hair oil and curl cream. First of all, my hair is VERY soft after each bath and I noticed it has gotten smoother over time, and in great shape.
One night, a stranger came up to me and told me I love your hair. Honestly, this is the first time in my LIFE i have heard a compliment about my hair. I think this sums it up. Okay, buy it it’s amazing.
The Old Spice Wavy Curly Leave-In Conditioner nourishes your lovely locks and helps prevents frizz. This out-of-shower moisturizer will give you better waves and smoother curls than the surf off the islands of Fiji.
Not only does it help prevent a case of the frizzies, but it also helps define your curls in a way only a well-known dictionary could. And just for good measure, its so easy to usejust leave it in and go.
Directions: Apply to damp hair, scrunch, air dry, go and conquer.
Thank you Influenster and Old Spice for making my job as hair manager of our home easier. My husband started to grow his hair out at the beginning of Covid and stay-at-home directives. We both come from multigenerational military families which both have pretty strict appearance rules.
I have known my husband since 14 and his hair has always been cut after it gets 1. 5 inches. Now it is past his shoulders after almost 2 years since his last cut. Beautiful tighter ringlets in back with the front being gently curly and very front wavy.
It is gorgeous and I am jealous. With long hair now issues have popped up like wet brushing and dry hair. He was eager to try these products. He didn’t want me to give a full report until he used it for awhile to give proper input.
His verdict is it is a winner over all the other products we have been trying for him. I love how it brought back the softness to his hair when I run my finger’s through it. He loves less fighting with tangles and the brush.
The smell is nice as a bonus. I will now be trying it on our preteen son whom has decided to grow his out too, but is in that weird stage. Maybe if we start now with these products we won’t have as many issues with his hair!.
This is just amazing for my husband’s wavy hair. He did not get a hair cut from months and his hair has gotten longer than usual. With long hair and winter months his hair is usually dry. This old spice hair moisturizer is so good.
It has the goodness of avocado oil and aloe. It is a leave on moisturizer and helps my husband to easily manage his hair. This provides hydration and moisture the hair needs in this dry winter months.
With frequent usage he has seen great difference and it’s much smoother and shiner than before. It smells great and it’s also good for frizzy hair. I infact tried it and felt that this was just great for my hair too.
Definitely a great choice and my husband will stick on to it!.
I was pretty surprised to see that old spice mad hair care now. And I was pretty skeptical about it. I was surprised though. First, the scent is nice, and not at all what I was expecting. It smells like shampoo, which is better than what old spice generally does for scent.
There would’ve been no way I could walk around smelling old spice all day lol. So don’t let the scent scare you. Otherwise, this stuff is basically like any drugstore shampoo. It’s not competing with the big dogs in hair care, so keep that in mind.
I think this would be a good option for someone who likes this price point. I won’t buy it myself, just because I’m used to some higher quality ingredients. I will keep using this though. Probably use it for vacations, that way if I leave it, I wont be sad.
Nourish your locks with the OUAI Curl Conditioner; a hydrating formula developed by celebrity hair stylist, Jen Atkin. Designed for those with curly and textured hair types, the lightweight conditioner glides onto locks, smoothing and hydrating each fiber.
Utilising OUAI’s ‘Smart Technology Complex’ and infused with a hair-loving blend of naturally-derived oils, the effective formula delivers a smoothing veil of moisture to curly hair, resulting in sleek, frizz-free locks.
Enriched with a reviving scent of Italian Lemon, Bergamot, Rose and Blackberry, the softening conditioner thoroughly nourishes locks and enhances curls, leaving hair bouncy, healthy-looking and ready for styling.
Smells great and leaves my hair super soft. It does to some have a very floral scent but I like that. I have longer hair and only use about a quarter size amount. I leave it on for about 5 minutes and rinse.
I have a very strict hair routine and use this once a week and it does wonders. I love all thier products honestly. I do not have over oily hair type and I am not sure how it would be for those with more oily hair.
My daughter had fine hair but very thick and we use this twice a week for her and it has helped a lot with little fly away issues that drive me crazy. Beautiful conditioner.
Conditioners are hard for me. I have fine, thin, dry hair that can turn greasy fast, and that combo makes it hard to find balance in my hair products. Ouai Curl Conditioner is one of the best products I’ve found.
With most products, I have to condition all my hair due to dryness, otherwise I end up with a frizzy, flyaway witches nest. However, this practice led to my already limp hair all but plastered to my head.
I use this conditioner in conjunction with its matching shampoo (check out my review!), and the combo is glorious! The shampoo cleanses without stripping natural oils, and provides enough moisture that I can just condition mid-length to ends.
They add softness and body to my hair without weighing it down, or leaving me looking like I should be chanting “Double double toil and trouble. ” I only have one real con: I wish it smelled better. It has a chemicalish scent to it, though not nearly as strong as some other products I’ve tried (*cough* Kevin Murphy).
The base scent is actually pretty pleasant, and would be great without the eau de chem. Overall, I highly recommend!.
I was fortunate to have the chance to test and review the Ouai Repair Shampoo and share the following thoughts: The shampoo is designed to help with those that have hair prone to damage/breakage. Whilst I have a lot of hair unfortunately it is not very strongand therefore I depend on indian oils (mustard, almond, castor, coconut to name but a few) and specialist products to keep it looking as healthy as possible.
Benefits to note are that the shampoo does contribute to strengthening each strand of hair. It leavesyour barnet feeling shiny and healthy whilst adding in much needed moisture (without the nasty weighing down of hair).
The shampoo does not lather up in the way normal shampoos do but this in no way is a disadvantage as you can be sure that you are applying only the best of ingredients to your hair (the shampoo is sulphate free).
I have seen a dramatic change to the overall health of my hair since starting use. The shampoo provides nourishment and shine to the hair without the nasty build up of product. I can’thelp but run my hand through my hair throughout the day! The shampoo is also suitable for those with coloured hair and it will not cause loss of colour.
It is suitable for all hair types. The product is paraben and sulphate free and is NOT tested on animals. The pleasant light scent is an added bonus.
The new Dove Nutritive Solutions Absolute Curls Conditioner for curly hair is designed to nourish curls while smoothing away frizz and making them soft and shiny. This Dove conditioner from the Dove Nutritive Solutions range for curly hair is infused with nutrients, protein and Buriti Oil, which is naturally rich in Omega-9.
It works to detangle curls, deeply nourishing them and helping to lock in moisture and repair split ends. This curly hair conditioner penetrates and strengthens hair strands against breakage, helping to quench dryness and frizz.
The Dove Nutritive Solutions Absolute Curls system deeply moisturizes hair with its rich, creamy formula. Used with Dove Nutritive Solutions Absolute Curls Shampoo, it locks in nutrients without weighing hair down.
This makes this conditioner one of the best curly hair products from Dove. How to use: After shampooing, massage Dove Nutritive Solutions Absolute Curls Conditioner for curly hair into your hair from mid-lengths to tips to help lock moisture into your curls for the perfect curly hair treatment.
Comb through with your fingers to make sure your hair is evenly coated with this conditioner for dry hair, and then rinse. For best results, use after cleansing with Dove Nutritive Solutions Absolute Curls Shampoo and use Dove Absolute Curls Detangler Spray to help with any stubborn knots.
Dove Absolute Curls Conditioner is also a great conditioner for split ends and is suitable for daily use.
I really am a fan of Dove. I have been using their shampoo and conditioner for quite awhile now. I love the way my hairs feel so soft and clean. I find it to be very affordable. My hair goes through drying, coloring and curling.
Now graying. It help keep down the corse feel. My hair is soft yet, manageable. Recommend for sure. The peach shampoo smell so amazing. Check it out.
I promise, hands down, this is the BEST conditioner I’ve ever used. My hair has never felt dry. I have different textures in my hair from 3B to 4C and even the 4’s areas don’t feel like hay when the conditioner dries.
It feels smooth and defined. I still can’t believe Dove, of all hair curly shampoo product lines out there, got it right! The conditioner is a very shimmery golden brown color and not too thick or thin and feels cold in the hand which is good because cold liquid closes the hair shaft, keeping the moisture in.
My grand daughters started using Dove and they just love it. I wanted them to have this product so I purchased it so they won’t run out. Makes there hair shine and full. My granddaughter is 17 and a senior so she wants to look her best.
This shampoo does the job. Dove Nutritive Solutions Shampoo does the job. My 11 year granddaughter loves it also.
Holy grail. My curly hair is regularly heat styled and gets DRYYYY. This conditioner is VERY THICK, like a mask, and my hair just soaks it up. It is so smoothing and smells unbelievably delicious and floral.
Washing out the conditioner leaves me with literal silk for hair. Will repurchase forever and ever. Davines is also a fantastic company, uses clean and vegan ingredients, is dedicated to carbon neutrality, and reusable/recyclable containers.
This conditioner made me change my philosophy on expensive hair products, which was that it was all essentially the same basic ingredients, tweaked a bit with little touches of something more extravagant, but that at the end of the day they were all like baseline Tressemme.
This conditioner has something in it that turns my hair into silky well-behaved beauties, and it’s super smooth, not tangling up and getting oddly frizzy, but just nice, soft, satiny, and well behaved.
It’s worth it to me. It is not cheap, I can’t remember exactly, but way more than I want to spend, however if I can go all day without baby hairs tickling my face or knots getting wrapped in the buttons of my shirt, or someone getting the impression I am stressed because I look like that brain exploding emoji, than it is money well spent.
I have 3b and 3c long curls. With long hair it’s very hard to maintain the good quality, especially in winter. I’ve been using it after every wash(1x a week), on a wet hair and leaving it for about 5-10 minutes.
So far the results have been amazing! P. s. Wash you hair properly, otherwise, It might take away volume.
Beauty pure and simple. Drench your curls with this rich blend of nourishing coconut oil to enhance natural softness, while sweet honey boosts decadent spirals and a twist of citrus oils to tame frizz for beautiful tumbling waves with bounce and shine.
The only thing good about this, for me, is the smell. This is just not a good conditioner IMO. I have long, thick hair. I do not use heat of any kind, deep condition regularly, and get regular trims.
All the stores around me stopped selling my HG, so I thought I’d give this a try. I knew immediately I didn’t like it (hair felt drier, more coarse frizzy, *super* tangly), but I wasn’t going to let it go to waste.
After 2 weeks of use I’ve got split ends! Everywhere! Y’all, I don’t get split ends and I just had a trim about 3 weeks before starting use. So, I’m going for a cut tomorrow and throwing the rest of this out! Sorry OGX.
I was using maui moisture heal + hydrate and it has immensely healed my damaged hair after years of straightening my naturally curly hair. I saw this and bc I use other OGX curl products, I was so excited to use this! My hair has never been more dry or fragile.
It’s starting to fall out and it’s so brittle after only a few days of use. If I could give this less than 1 star I would. I would 100% recommend the Maui Moisture Heal + Hydrate shampoo and conditioner, though! My curls look much better with that!.
Now I know it’s not made to be a leave in conditioner but it’s actually the best one I’ve ever used. I have my shower and even with conditioning my hair in the shower using another conditioner my hair could use some more moisturizing.
This gives my hair so much moisture and it stays the whole day. My hair doesn’t need any curl creams this keeps the hair shiny soft and non frizzy the whole day and honestly I’m obsessed. If only it was slightly cheaper and easier to find in stores because I love it and it would be perfect.
Green Parent Awards 2018 – Best Conditioner (Silver)The Beauty Shortlist Mama & Baby Awards 2017 – Editor’s Choice AwardSay bye-bye to bad hair days and wave hello to super-conditioned, silky-soft, defined curls.
This conditioner, blended especially for the needs of curly and wavy hair, moisturises, softens and defines curls. The high-performance, silicone-free formula conditions the unruliest of manes. Sea kelp and avocado oil are part of a rich blend designed to intensely nourish and tame curls.
Vitamin-rich avocado oil locks in moisture to nurture and strengthen hair. Sea fennel hydrates and smoothes the cuticle. Irish moss softens hair as it replenishes moisture. Invigorating ocean fresh scent.
I’ve been using the Wave Hello shampoo and conditioner for around a year now and absolutely love them both! The conditioner is a pretty thick cream that feels very light on my hair once applied (no stickiness or difficulty to spread it through), and leaves my hair feeling bouncy and soft with noticeably less frizz than other brands (especially when I use the Noughty Curl Defining Cream).
It has a nice gentle smell, and the squeeze bottle makes it easy to get all the product out. I wash my hair twice a week and use about a 50p-size blob for waist-length hair, which I brush through in the shower then rinse after a few mins.
The bottle usually lasts about 6 weeks, which is really decent for the price. Noughty has changed my waves forever! Definitely recommend.
I’ve just used the Wave Hello shampoo and conditioner for the first time. My hair is a mixture of 2B and 2C (mostly 2B) and is cut in a chin-length bob. After using these products and air-drying my hair as usual, I was surprised to find that my waves had lost all definition and separation and my hair had gone all fluffy and poofy in one amorphous blob.
I like that the products have made my hair very silky (slippery!), bouncy and voluminous, but they definitely aren’t curl-defining! I have very dry hair that’s tangle-prone, so it’s not all bad. I’ve never got so much slip from silicone-free shampoo and conditioner, so it’s actually quite impressive what they’ve achieved.
I will use this shampoo and conditioner combo when I’m not bothered about emphasising my waves.
I decided to ditch silicones, sulphates, heat drying/styling and try to embrace all that is natural. I have wavy 2b hair, which has a balyage and is really very damaged/dry at the ends. I previously used an expensive Salon shampoo and conditioner (both full of silicones and sulphates in shampoo), as well as olaplex (which I still use as it’s silicone fee) I got this along with the shampoo and deep conditioner and serum.
I have not been impressed at all. I don’t know if it’s because I’m still adjusting to not using silicones or sulphates but my hair feels awful. The shampoo does lather which I didn’t expect and it feels like it’s cleaning but once dry, it Often doesn’t look, feel or smell clean.
The conditioner doesn’t feel like conditioner to me, I find it difficult to comb through, it’s like my hair is sticky, very difficult to detangle and I’ve noticed a lot more hair coming out when I do this.
Before using these products, my hair felt lovely and looked good, now it’s awful. I’m not sure if this is just a transition, I hope so! But I’ll be switching to another product once I’ve used this up.
I’m determined not to use sulphates and silicones but I’ll be looking to another brand, this doesn’t work for me.

I have thick, curly hair. I had been previously using Redken’s frizz dismiss line, but wanted to cut out some of the ingredients that were in those so I decided to try this conditioner & the shampoo to go along with it, seeing as I absolutely LOVE their recoil styler.
One wash with these and I immediately returned them, the shampoo left my hair feeling a little dry, but I figured not to judge it quite yet & see how the conditioner was- oh my GOSH it was awful. I typically detangle my hair with a wide-tooth comb in the shower & then comb through it again after putting in conditioner to make sure it’s distributed thoroughly, when I tried to do that with this conditioner, the comb got stuck in my hair.
After rinsing I noticed far more shedding than I typically experience, and my hair felt like STRAW. It was so incredibly dry, knotted, and frizzy. My curls were extremely deflated & I had the worst time trying to get those tangles out, my hair had that “squeaky clean” feeling x10 after using this conditioner- the exact opposite of what I want out of a conditioner.
Don’t waste your money, I have no idea why they think this is “hydrating” or in any way good for curly hair.
I am frequently looking to try new hair products and compare them to what I have now so I can find the best product out there for my curls. My hair is wavy/curly about 1-2 inch curls in length and comes down past my shoulders.
I tried the revive shampoo and the conditioner and was very disappointed. It smells good and the shampoo lathers nicely. The conditioner to me didn’t seem that moisturizing and thin. When I got out of the shower, my hair had many more knots than before.
It took me a while to comb them all out. I squeezed the excess water out of the ends of my hair (I do not towel dry my hair since it makes curly hair really frizzy) and styled my hair like I usually do with leave-in conditioner and gel.
When my curls dried, they were lifeless, messy, very frizzy, limp, extremely dry looking, and it removed the shine and volume from my hair. I typically use Ouidad products because they make my curls uniform and Revive made them look wild and undefined.
I don’t know how other people feel but when I have a bad hair day, it makes me have a BAD day. Switching my Ouidad shampoo and conditioner to this product was the only thing I changed in my morning routine.
If you are looking for a good product for curly hair, don’t use this one. I learned my lesson, I have tried many curly hair products over the years and nothing compares to Ouidad.
Let me start this by saying, I started using curl revive, thrive and recoil in January. I have to wash my hair daily due to work and these products have worked so well for me and leave my hair so soft and moisturized and defined! I have a whole new confidence I have never had before.
Previously, my curls (3B) were so dry and undefined it was often referred to as a “rat’s nest” even within hours of a fresh wash. I had to braid it every day just to keep it under control and looking halfway profesional.
Not anymore! The key to this conditioner is to give it the time. It doesn’t feel creamy enough when you put it on. But do it anyway, and leave it sit for a couple of minutes. Run your fingers through again and you’ll find the texture is much easier to work with, coats each strand and leaves your hair much more moisturized.

I have thick curly hair and had high hopes for this Hask new line. Unfortunately, it didn’t do it for me… While it is true it “activates” my curls a little, my hair feels dry and gets very frizzy after using it.
I wouldn’t call it “deep conditioner”. It’s thick, but not moisturizing. Also, I am not very fond of the perfumey scent and found it very strong and lingering. On a side note, I absolutely love Hask Keratin Mask and just wish the sold it in tubes like this instead of little packets….
I love this brand. I have yet to try one product I haven’t liked and now I have many Hask items in my arsenal including this one. A little goes a long way even with long thick curly hair. Twice a week I will use this BEFORE I shampoo.
And I will clip my hair up under a cap and save the rinsing out for last then shampoo (grandma owned a salon :). I follow up with Hask keratin 5-n-1, Hask coconut oil, & bumble and bumble hairdressers oil, brush and Scrunch and that’s all I do.
I prefer natural and too much product always creates buildup. I’m also prone to stretching and breakage and I’ve noticed a good decrease since adding. The price makes it 5 stars.
I used this deep conditioner after using the detangling conditioner for this line. Smells nice. Has a thick creamy consistency. Minimal slip. I left it on my hair for 15 minutes and used my hooded dryer.
After rinsing, my hair felt ok. Minimal moisture and hair tangled.

UPDATE: This product was received for free for reviewing purposes This is only after a 1 time wash. Heres my experience: I dyed my hair about 2 weeks back and it drastically affected the way my hair curls up.
Just as i was searching what kind of deep conditioning i can use to help revive my curls, this came in! The smell is super strong and long lasting on your hair. Its a nice smell but im still trying to figure out if i want to smell it all day or not.
The conditioner seemed a bit watery. I had to mix the conditioner and the 3 minute miracle together. Nonetheless, immediately after I noticed how much easier it was to brush through my hair after washing it.
You can see a before and after of me applying this product. What I definitely love is that ive seen this in shelves at places like rite aid and walgreens and never got it because of the use of hemp. After researching, hemp is actually super safe to use and enriching for your hair.
It provides a protection coat to your hair follicles that prevent breakage and promotes hair growth. I definitely recommend this deep conditioner although the shampoo and conditioner are a bit questionable.
I tried all three products (shampoo, conditioner, and deep conditioner) and my thought are the same for all 3. They smell great- a little tropical but not like sunscreen. The formulas are light weight, which was surprising, especially for the deep conditioner.
And they left my hair feeling dry (I have salon-processed blonde hair). And then when I styled my fine hair curly- it sure wasn’t frizzy. But it also was flat with no body. Maybe this is better for thicker hair that curls easier on its own.
It’s not bad- but it didn’t really do anything good for me.
HOLY COW!!! First off, I have to mention that I am a cancer patient. I lost my hair two years ago due to treatment. This stuff is awesome!!! I am so impressed with this product. I have never used anything like this before, so I had no idea what to expect.
I’m so happy I got this product. The scent is gorgeous!!! My hair is super soft, super luxurious and smells glorious. This is something that I will love continue using. and frequently!.
After using Pura D’or Curl Therapy Shampoo work through wet hair spreading evenly. Leave on hair for 2 minutes. Style with Curl Therapy Cream for best results. Made with 80% Organic Ingredients. No toluene.
I used these for a while before experimenting with new products. A heads up that the lavender smell is STRONG so if you don’t like lavender do not buy this, it took me a while to get used to. I did love the cooling sensation I would get from this and it felt like it was getting a good deep clean.
My curls always looked great after using the shampoo and conditioner, however the styling cream didn’t always provide the best results. The only reason I stopped purchasing the shampoo and conditioner was due to pricing, since I could get good results from cheaper brands.
My partner and I bought this off of the [brand:pura-dor] website because the one we bought from [brand:ulta] originally was very clearly watered down and would splash into our hands with each pump. We wanted to see if that’s how the product was supposed to be or not so we thought going to the source was best.
Anyways while we really did like a few of the other products, this one is not one of my favorites. I really like the shampoos but I can’t seem to find a conditioner that I like from this brand. They smell very super outdoorsy but not in a sexy rugged man kind of way and kind of like licorice.
I don’t think it lasts long on the hair but I feel like there’s other things that could either mask the scent or just replace it. Maybe they don’t use fragrances in these because they’re trying to be as healthy as I can and minimalistic but I can’t really get past it so once I’m done with the bottles that I have I will not be buying the conditioners again.
They do seem to be moisturizing and nourishing but there’s also other things that are cheaper on the market that do a better job in that department. .
This shampoo is CGM approved:) I have very dry, long, high porosity, 2c-3b curls – so I shampoo 2X weekly with this Pura D’Or and ‘wash’ with SheaMoisture’s Coconut and Hibiscus Conditioner on the days in-between.
This shampoo is *quite drying*, so I won’t be purchasing it again, *but if you have oily hair – I think you’ll really like it. * I don’t expect lots of lather from CGM shampoos, but this one does lather up nicely.
It’s a large bottle and you don’t need much, so you really get your money’s worth. It lasts a long time.
A moisturizing conditioner for curly or wavy hair. Formulated with Sea Algae & Cacay Oil, rich in vitamins & omegas. Offers nourishing & moisturizing benefits. Helps tame frizz all day while adding shape & definition.
Enhances curls of all types & improves the condition of dry hair. Unveils softer, smoother, shinier & more manageable hair.
This is an amazing shampoo and I love the fact that it is sulphate free. I have been using sulphate free shampoos for almost 7 years now. It takes some getting used to because your hair can be greasy at first but once your hair gets used to sulphate free shampoos, it will feel a lot healthier.
This is definitely my go-to shampoo. I try out other brands from time to time but always come back to it.
Didn’t work 100% for me. But in all fainess, I have to say this. I have curly hair but it’s frizzy. Most curling products don’t work for me. This shampoo smells nice and it cleans without stripping your hair.
Fair price and good size bottle. Overall, I’m not satisfied but I’m not disappointed either.
My hair is soooooo much more hydrated after I bought the set of this conditioner and shampoo at my salon! My hairdresser recommended it and THIS is exactly why I trust her! Also if you leave just a little bit of this (I use about a pea sized amount) and I leave it in and then style it, and I’ll tell ya, my curls the next day.
