There are a few different types of conditioner for frizzy dry hair. The first is a leave-in conditioner, which is applied to towel-dried hair and then left in to help detangle and smooth the hair. The second is a rinse-out conditioner, which is applied to wet hair and then rinsed out.
This type of conditioner can help to hydrate and tame frizzy hair. The third type of conditioner is a deep conditioner, which is applied to wet hair and left in for a few minutes before being rinsed out.
Deep conditioners can help to moisturize and repair damage to the hair.

Our promise to the planet goes beyond setting a new bar for beauty.
I was struggling with an itchy scalp after having a reaction to a hair dye – even the “natural” sulfate-free shampoos made me itch & burn after washing and it was so uncomfortable. I found this brand in a search for a scalp-soothing shampoo and decided to try it even though I’d had not-great luck with shampoo bars in the past.
I was pleasantly surprised by this line! Not only did my itchy scalp feel better, but my hair felt soft and clean and shiny. I am so impressed with how much these bars quickly work up a nice lather! The bars last a long time and are so easy to pack for travel.
Best of all, no plastic! My only (very minor) callout would be that the textured surface of the bar tends to snag my hair when rubbed directly on my head (I have an overly sensitive scalp) so I rub the lather in my hands and then apply to my hair and massage with a silicone scalp brush.
Over the last 10 years my hair has thinned out so much and I tried many name brand shampoos and conditioners with no luck. I felt that eventually I would have bald spots and need to get wigs. I bought this shampoo and conditioner on a whim and I absolutely love it! I noticed after just one wash that my hair was no longer falling out.
I went from handfuls of hair falling out to a few strands (normal). My hair appears fuller than it has in years. My scalp no longer itches. The scent is fantastic! I suffer from migraines and most scents are unbearable.
This is so faint I have yet to get any reaction. The conditioner is slightly stronger but still very light and no adverse reaction. I was hesitant it would lather up based on the description but it lathers fantastically! I cannot recommend this product enough!!.
I have only ever used a shampoo bar once before and it was a clarifying one so this was actually tailored for my exact hair type, which was perfect. Immediately upon wetting it the bar lathers nicely and I am able to get a great lather for all of my Dry scalp and throughout my long hair.
Since I do not have oily hair I do not rinse and repeat with this bar as it cleans nicely enough in one fell swoop. After lathering up I work it through my scalp and from the roots to the ends, making sure to scrub well all the way.
Then I rinsed. I also purchased the conditioner bar sample for so I followed with that and and it lathers just as nicely. I left that in while I washed my body. Then rinsed it out and my hair did not tangle as much and felt soft, not tangled as I thought it would.
It didn’t feel as soft as it normally would with a regular conditioner, but I liked how my hair felt. The main test now would be to let my hair dry either on tis own or with a hair dryer. I didn’t put any product in it to make sure I was evaluating the product and not any hair styling products with it.
So I used my hair dryer on a lighter setting and blow dried it. My hair is naturally wavy and I found that this didn’t make it frizzy at all or strip my hair color. This time of year my hair tends to not be as frizzy because of the lower humidity in the air, but after washing it is at its worst usually.
I did find that when using the superzero shampoo bar my hair was not frizzy and the color stayed intact. Would I purchase this? Definitely. I would purchase this because I feel that shampoos are fairly wasteful in their packaging, the amount of time they last and the fact that my hair is still frizzy after using them.
The price point is not too high for what you receive ($18. 00) and I feel that it would last just as long as a large bottle of shampoo. It is definitely comparable to a salon quality shampoo. Check this out if you have dry, frizzy hair.
superzero also offers bars for oily hair, dry & damaged hair, normal/oily hair, thinning hair, dry/damaged/colored hair and dandruff/itchy scalp.
A smoothing & anti-frizz hair treatment. Contains a surface-morphing polymer that coats hair fiber with a protective film. Blended with lipid softening agents that work at the heart of fiber. Provides fluidity & nutrition while controlling unruly hair.
Hair appears suppler, sleeker, shinier & stronger. Apply to cleansed, towel-dried hair. Leave on for 1-2 minutes & rinse well.
Hairstory is infinitely better and a bit cheaper. I absolutely love the smell of these products however I had high expectations and found other products that are a lot better. I recently used hairstory which I was very sceptical of as I normally wouldn’t purchase something with gimmick-y packaging but one of my friends gave me some in a jar.
I bought Kerastase after the jar ran out tossing up between trying kerastase as it was quicker to buy click and collect than wait for postage of hairstory. However hairstory is heaps better, and made my hair softer and stronger than kerastase.
In my experience kerastase is maybe half as good. I don’t hate the product but I thought it would blow my mind in the same way hairstory did. This sounds like a weird ad lol they did not pay me to say this or anything I’m just genuinely trying to tell anyone who reads this that I had 100x better result with hairstory for the same needs I bought these products.
Developed for dry, damaged or chemically processed hair, No Frizz Leave-in Conditioner promotes optimum moisture levels without oils or silicones. It also detangles and smoothes hair, leaving it looking healthy and shiny while protecting against surface damage and breakage from sun exposure and heat styling.
The Leave-In features Polyfluoroester-the first new anti-frizz technology in 30 years-to effectively block humidity for beautifully soft, smooth, frizz-free hair. A must-have for highly processed or colored hair.
I have extremely thick 4a-b hair that coils when wet. My hair is also extremely dry. So after washing my hair drys within minutes it seems. Hence, I am prone to breakage. I just tried this out today and I already know it works for my hair.
It seems to actually get into my hair and not just sit on it. Its been over 12 hours and it still moisturized, usually I have to add something before bed but no I am all good. Now, the only problem 4oz for 27usd? Honestly, that’s a little pricey especially when you are Black/African American and you have thick hair.
I ordered this product accidentally (I meant to order the Nourishing Oil), but I decided to keep it and give it a try based on the other reviews. I use the ant-frizz shampoo and conditioner, as well, so I thought it was be interesting to see how they all worked together.
I like it- I like it more than most of the conditioners I’ve tried- but it’s not magic. It left my hair feeling *incredibly* soft (really, really wonderfully soft), which is unusual for my coarse, curly hair.
And the other reviewers are right; it has a pleasant, light fragrance. But it didn’t really help any more with frizz than the normal shampoo + conditioner, even when I used a bit more of it and focused on the middle-to-end of my hair.
Perhaps it’s optimized for finer curly hair? Regardless, I wouldn’t recommend this as an anti-frizz conditioner for coarse hair. If you’re mainly looking for a lightweight, lightly scented, delightfully softening conditioner, though, this one is excellent.
I bought this over a month ago, and I have been using it nearly every day. I previously used NAK’s leave in condition for 1yr and have that to compare against. I was keen to try something new with Living Proof from the raving reviews, but I have to admit that the performance is average.
It does reduce the overall frizz of my hair, but not by a significant amount (definitely less effective than my previous leave-ins/oils). I also find it difficult to spread the product through my hair as it usually clumps my hair strands.
Found the best way to do it on slightly damp hair + comb through.
Make sure your locks have all the moisture they need to shine with the OUAI Thick Hair Conditioner. Thanks to its innovative formula, there’s no need to put up with dryness just because regular conditioners don’t quite do the job.
Rich in hydrating Shea Butter and Avocado Oil, the conditioner helps to fight frizz by coating strands in a protective shield that stops water loss in its tracks, locking in essential moisture for silky-smooth results.

Condition to win the frizz fight. Smooth and protect hair so humidity can’t undo what you’ve done to your ‘do. Benefits: Glycerin – returns moisture and strength to dry, brittle hair. I don’t have long hair, but it’s extremely thick and wavy, and I’m always hunting for a good conditioner. Usually I’m disappointed because they aren’t moisturizing enough or I have to use so much of it that I go through a bottle super-fast.
This is my first Amika purchase and I’m loving it!! I don’t have to use a ton of it, and it leaves my hair extremely soft and not frizzy at all. It doesn’t weigh my hair down or leave it greasy-feeling, either.
I am impressed and will definitely be checking out other products. Oh, the colorful packaging is satisfying as well. It’s like art for my shower.
The best shampoo around. I’ve used high end to drugstore and the velveteen shampoo is hands down the best. My hair is so soft that my family can’t resist touching it. I have wavy hair and I blow dry it from time to time.
This keeps my hair in fabulous condition. Next time I am going to order the jumbo size. Folks if you like soft, sexy hair then the velveteen shampoo is the one for you. Even my hair stylist uses these products and gave my hair the stamp of approval.
Anti-frizz treatment conditioner that protects from moisture and untangles hair. Protect from moisture and controls frizz 85%. Apply an amount of ML 10/15 on the palms. Activated by friction with hands and spread on wet hair shampooed previously and removing excess moisture with a towel.
Spread evenly over the entire length of the hair avoiding the area closest to the scalp, working with the help of hands or a wide-tooth comb for 2/3 minutes and rinse exposure time. A system without sodium chloride which provides an anti-frizz based treatment Babassu oil extracted sustainably for instant processing.
Use as a complete system with Frizz Dismiss shampoo and Rebel Tame Leave-In Treatment. After shampooing, apply and distribute through damp hair. Rinse. In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately. Follow with Rebel Tame Leave-In Treatment. Good for 12 months once opened.
Very happy with the results of this shampoo and conditioner. I have very long, fine 2c/3a hair that’s super frizzy and tangles easily. I’ve been testing other anti-frizz products and haven’t found anything that ACTUALLY worked so my expectations weren’t high for this one either.
But so far, this is working great and way better than any other anti-frizz duo I’ve ever tried. Both the shampoo and conditioner are THICK which is every frizzy haired girls dream. I wouldn’t say it completely gets rid of all frizz, but my hair is silkier and I can actually let it naturally air dry without looking like Hermione Granger which is all I can ask for.
The scent is ok. It smells like generic shampoo, but it doesn’t linger so I don’t really care. The size is great and will last me a while. Only complaint about the bottle is the top is a little loose.
And because the product is so thick, it takes a little extra oomph to get it out and then the bottle stays squeezed. I don’t know if it’s just the type of plastic they used or what, but it’s a little annoying if you are easily annoyed by those types of things lol.
Regardless of those very nitpicky complaints, Would hands down repurchase.
I purchased this product last year while the company was having a sale. I never tried Redken products before and read good reviews on it so I decided to give it a try. I noticed right off the bat it smelled like a clean and fresh perfume.
I am a big fan of scented hair products so it was a plus for me. As I lathered it into my hair, it foamed up pretty well and seemed to give it a good clean. After I had dried my hair, I noticed my hair appeared more shiny and soft.
I have naturally curly hair so when I blow dry and straighten it, there is still normally a lot of frizz. This shampoo definitely helped take away a lot of the frizziness in my hair, but not all of it.
There was still a small amount of frizziness in my hair but definitely better than what it was before I started using this shampoo. I had actually stopped using this product only because of it’s lasting power.
I don’t wash my hair everyday, I normally like to wash it every two to three days and I noticed the next day, my hair looked as if I hadn’t washed it for three days. My roots were so greasy. Yes, dry shampoo can help with that, but I didn’t want to have to drown my hair in product the very next day after washing it the day before.
Overall, I liked this shampoo for the frizz control, but if I would have been able to go a couple more days without it looking like I had to wash it the next day, I would keep using it.
I have curly hair that craves moisture, so this shampoo seems like a good fit. The shampoo itself is very thick, so it’s probably best for someone with thick/ curly hair because it would weigh down thin hair.
I like the size of the bottle. It fits nicely in my shower caddy shelf. I do not particularly like where the opening of the hole is to dispense the product. The top opens differently than I expected.
It would also be nicer if the shampoo and conditioner bottle were different from each other. I am blind without my contacts or eyeglasses ( which I never would shower while wearing) and the bottles are near identical.
If one bottle had a darker label that would help. Overall, this is a good product and it will definitely keep static and frizz away.
Redken Frizz Dismiss Conditioner 33. 8 oz Redken’s Frizz Dismiss Conditioner features a gentle, Sodium Chloride-Free formula and sustainably sourced Babassu Oil to tame frizzy hair, increase smoothness and enhance shine.
This conditioner moisturizes, detangles and protects the hair from frizz while providing softness and shine. Frizz-fighting, Sodium Chloride-Free, Sulfate-Free conditioner for all hair types. Provides enhanced smoothness and shine.
I have spiral curly, frizzy, dry hair that requires heavy conditioning and moisturizing. I have tried so many brands and Frizz Dismiss works the best for my hair. There are 2 cons for me: 1 is the price.
(Yes, prices are high on everything right now, but Redken was much more reasonably priced until Loreal bought it out years ago). The 2nd is that the conditioner is hard to get out of the bottle. I buy the liter size and have to leave it upside down (even when bottle is full).
Then I remove the cap (vs using the normal pop up opener) to squeeze out the conditioner. Kind of a pain, but worth the effort since it helps my hair.
I have medium-length fine and straight hair. In the wintertime I definitely have issues with static and frizz and this does help with that. I also noticed having less problems with flyaways when I used this.
It has that quintessential salon smell which I like and it did make my hair feel really soft. My only complaint is it made my hair kind of limp and flat. I’m sure that’s only because of my hair type being pretty fine and stick straight.
I imaging someone with more hair or more texture to their hair wouldn’t notice that as much. All in all its a good product in my opinion and it does what it says it’s going to do.
Fructis Sleek and Shine Conditioner with sustainably sourced Argan Oil from Morocco plus Kera-System soaks into frizzy, dry hair to smooth each strand. Get up to 72 Hour Frizz Control even in 97percent humidity* with this Conditioner.
After using Sleek and Shine shampoo, apply conditioner to hair from root to tip. Rinse. Follow with Sleek and Shine leave-in cream.
I use this product after every shower on damp brushed hair. It really does prolong the nice feel and look of freshly conditioned hair, maybe not for 3 days like the product claims lol but definitely for a good 48 hours.
The ends of my hair get pretty dry and frizzy looking and feeling after several hours after a shower ugh annoying. But since I’ve been using this product (for a year now) it definitely keeps my hair smooth and healthy looking and feeling way into the next day.
Only thing is, definitely be careful how much you use, this stuff goes a long way I’ve accidentally put too much in way too many times lol my hair is simi thick so I always over estimate how much I actually need.
Use too much and it looks and feels not so good lol it will look and feel like you didnt wash your conditioner out fully in the shower. And I recommend brushing/combing your hair after applying this product to make sure it spreads out evenly.
Compared to the more expensive brands of similar products this one does pretty good. Very affordable and it does a great job, worth a try for sure!.
Mmmm!!! I can’t get over how good this smells! It smells like fresh & fruity green apples!!! I have 2b/2a waves plus dry, frizzy and puffy. This gives me 2a beach waves because it does weigh my hair down a bit and I currently don’t use stylers to hold my waves.
But I don’t care! It does smooth my hair and make it less frizzy and shiny + soft! But my hair is still a bit dry & a little frizzy no matter what I use due to my personal hair type & texture plus other factors.
This seems to make it less dry and more moisturized. It’s not the best conditioner but I love how it makes my hair smell like fresh green apples! My hair just soaks it up! I greatly appreciate that Garnier is leaping bunny certified cruelty-free!!! And that this product is vegan too! After getting covid recently, my sense of smell changed and I needed a change for my nose and for the sake of my hair.
I’m glad I turned back to Garnier Fructis. I look forward to trying their other lines in the future but I think this Sleek & Shine shampoo/conditioner duo will always be a staple in my bag no matter what other Garnier lines I add.
This leave in cream is one of the best out there if you have dry, damaged and fine hair. I have tried so many at all price points and this is definitely the best for my hair. Even though my hair is dry if a product is too heavy it will make it greasy.
This one just adds smoothness, shine and makes my hair so soft and manageable. It keeps the frizzies and flyaways away and detangles like products that cost a lot more. It has a very pleasant smell not too heavy sort of coconut but not quite.
I wear my hair in a ponytail most of the time and this makes it so easy. It’s also surprisingly good at scrunching up waves in your hair. Overall, I have just found it to be the best product I have used and the fact that it’s affordable is really just a bonus.
Would recommend to anyone with dry and thin hair that needs a product to condition without weighing it down or adding oil.
After shampooing, take an adequate amount of conditioner. 2. Apply it on damp hair, starting from mid-length and all the way down to the ends. 3. Leave on for 2-3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Argan Argon oil Apple cidar vinegar Almond oil Age Group: adult.
The Matrix Biolage SmoothProof Conditioner works to tame frizzy, hard to control hair to give you super sleek, shiny locks that are easier to manage. Your hair will be left with a glossy, long lasting shine and smooth texture. Directions for use: After using Matrix Biolage Smoothproof Shampoo, massage Matrix Biolage Smoothproof Conditioner into wet hair.
Leave in for 1-3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately.
I received these products for free from Influenster and Biolage in exchange for my honest review. The Biolage Ultra HydraSource Shampoo for Dry Hair, Biolage Ultra HydraSource Conditioner for Dry Hair, Biolage Professional Ultra Hydra Source Leave-In Cream for Dry Hair, and Biolage Professional Ultra Hydra Source Deep Treatment Pack Hair Mask for Dry Hair.
I have fine wavy colored treated hair. I wash, condition, and apply leave-in conditioner every 2-3 days. I apply the hair mask just once a week. This is a great shampoo and an essential for extremely dry hair.
What I love is that the shampoo has a heavy conditioning component already, so when used with the various conditioners you get this double infusion of moisturizer. The Biolage Ultra Hydra Source formula seems to coat and seal the hair, so it is super manageable while smelling like a tropical paradise.
When I put the product on my hair, my hair just soaked it in. I have never had a conditioner do that before and when I rinsed it out, my hair was like silk. Biolage will most definitely be stay as a staple in my shower!.
I have long, thick, balayaged hair that lives way more of a fabulous life than I do. I don’t skimp on shampoo and for that reason I have always liked all the Biolage shampoos I’ve tried. They are high quality and come in very nice sized bottles for the price.
That is why I was so very eager to try smooth proof because my hair is also wavy and without some taming, it can get pretty wild. I first tried this shampoo a few times without the conditioner (This is me most days for sake of time and also to avoid build up) and I was so happy with the results.
It did not weight my hair down at all. The wave was more cohesiveness and it was soft and so shiny! I do use with the conditioner at least once a week and that is where you really see the smooth get to another level.
However, it didn’t weight it all completely down, I still had plenty of lift at my crown without any real styling (Which I generally avoid) Like all the other Biolage shampoos I’ve tried, it lathers well.
You don’t need much. I also really love the floral scent, reminds me of orange mlossom. I’ve been using it for more than a month now and my hair still feels great. I’ve tried so many other smoothing shampoos and they can build up over time, so glad they added this shampoo to the line.
The shampoo smells just like the conditioner. Though the shampoo is clear it dose feel like it leaves something behind maybe to help the smoothing so it doesn’t feel absolutely clean. It’s not clarifying.
Using it alone just washing hair it didn’t do much of a good job smoothing however paired with the Smooth Proof system it did fine in my hair. With others In my family 3a,3b 3c it worked fine at helping smooth hair with only a shampoo but not for a full day.
But right after and an air dry it stayed pretty smooth. The cap is yellow not to be confused with the conditioner. I believe it works better when you have to do a full wash. Shampoo, conditioner, leave in.
maybe oil. A refresh with some water just sprayed to rehydrate. On my hair it can last about 2 days no excessive frizz with just a little spritzing to rehydrate. After a light pat and squeezing I could definitely see some definition in my curls.
Right out the shower nothing added. Not super smooth because I have very curly hair but I was impressed. I was very impressed with the Smooth Proof system as a whole. All together the products worked nicely in my vey curly hair.
Though it did not completely keep the frizz away it did a very very good job. I will keep using and even recommend it. I’d say for a type 3-4a hair this would be a good system of washing and conditioning for a smooth curl defining look.
If you are not pulling or fluffing hair the whole system will work fine.
Treat dry hair to the nourishing properties of the ikoo No Frizz, No Drama Conditioner, a hydrating formula that works to soften, smoothen and replenish the look of dry, frizzy hair. Hair appears softer, smoother and shinier. Suitable for unruly, frizzy hair. Free from silicone, parabens, sulphates, paraffins and artificial colours. Vegan. Cruelty free.
I suffer from an itchy scalp and my usual shampoo no longer worked. I tried a few different shampoos and this one really works. It leaves my scalp and hair feeling soothed and refreshed. My hair is bleached and toned and it does not affect the colour.
This has been one of my diehard staple shampoos in my rotation of favorites for years. Like facial cleansers there is nothing in my routine that starts off good haircare like a quality shampoo. For those of us who dont have effortless hair and can grab anything with no issue lol finding a quality shampoo is rare with so many things on the market whether drugstore or high end literally full of just crap ingredients whether silicones, sulfates, drying agents and just endless chemicals that arent doing you any favors.
The ph (Momo is 5. 3) of products is another thing that kills our hair all our lifes if off that so many dont realize is just as bad as hard water and something I started paying attention to that has made a huge different for my fussy hair and scalp.
I have had naturally very frizzy and pouffy (not damaged at all) wavy hair all my life so always have needed a shampoo to be gentle/moisturize yet not weigh my hair or scalp down as pretty much all moisturizing shampoos that are targeted for super thick hair seem too.
That is probably why I have become an ingredient nazi on all fronts skin, body, and haircare. I’ve tried many salon lines in my life and rare of them are worth the high cost as Davines simply is. I have tried all their formulas and Momo is my absolute favorite of not having a sickly perfume fragrance as some of theirs do similar to Oribe pproducts, great formula/ appreciate the brands mission, and simply is the softest most natural light moisturizing lather leaving my hair so hydrated and soft but still feeling clean.
Couldnt ask for more and per the quality all the products from this line are super concentrated so it really goes a long way and lasts forever for me which is why I typically buy the travel size bottles having much more fresh products when rotating with my other shampoo staples from Klorane and Leonor Greyl.
The Curl Shampoos from Davines are great too and what I recomend to several friends who have much thicker kinkier hair than my more fine to medium waves. If you are chosing between Momo and Nounou, Momo definitely is the better moisturizing shampoo imo not having all the protein and keratin Nounou has considering it is for the most damaged weakest hair on top of the extra moisture provided.
Protein heavy shampoos only make my hair more dry as the case for many.
I loved using Davine’s Nounou. I started using it when my hair was extremely dry and breaking and I was losing handfuls of hair each day. It really brought my hair back to life. But then when my hair got healthy again, it became too moisturizing for me and it started giving me dandruff.
I purchased Momo because it promised moisture (but not as much as Nounou) and was allegedly great for my hair type. I have thick strands of straight hair and my hair was very healthy but it has always historically been a little bit on the dry side and required more moisture than protein.
I loved the smell of Momo and it made my hair feel really clean but it dried my hair so much that my hair went back to being brittle within two washes. If you have my hair type, I don’t recommend this product.
Borrowing from skincare technology, IGK Thirsty Girl conditioner features a patented Hyaluronic Acid Technology that forms a rich moisture barrier for deep hydration and protection against hair-damaging pollutants.
Pure Coconut Milk smoothes, nourishes, and strengthens hair with every use to prevent breakage and split ends. This nourishing conditioner uses a patented hyaluronic acid technology and nourishing coconut milk to leave hair softer, smoother and frizz-free.
The nourishing coconut milk conditioner has a smoothing formula to control frizz and protect against humidity without weighing hair down. Vegan. Cruelty free. Gluten free. No parabens or sulfates. UV and heat protection.
Conditioning and color safe. Formulated without mineral oil. 8oz.
So first of all this stuff is baseline fantastic. It feels so rich immediately out of the bottle and the way it goes onto your hair is better than any conditioner I’ve tried in the last 10 years (and I’ve tried many).
Full disclosure it does not smell like coconut but honestly I think it smells better. It’s a vaguely tropical smell (and I mean vague, it’s not citrusy or coconuty, not even like suntan lotion) but even as a fragrance sensitive super sniffer I love it, and after a wash when my hairs sweeps by my face the scent makes me smile.
Now my most important love? This stuff legit helped to heal my hair. I’d been using a product line that turned out was making people’s hair fall out and not only was my hair hardcore thinning, it was dried out to the max.
I’ve used two different product lines since and while my hair quit falling out, my hair just wouldn’t stop looking so dry and frizzed out. Well I started using this and after one wash I saw improvement in the look of my hair.
Someone gifted me the shampoo to go with it and I just cannot believe the difference in my hair after just one month. Sure, the damage is done at the bottom of my hair and will have to be cut, but this shampoo and conditioner combo have minimized the damage substantially and really started to heal my hair AND my scalp.
It’s worth noting perhaps too that I have super sensitive skin, even on my scalp and this not only doesn’t irritate my skin and scalp, it’s cleared it up entirely from where the last shampoo I used had been breaking me out.
I am not that picky with shampoos and conditioners. I would say my favorite is the Function of Beauty line but I like to switch it up because I get bored of the scent or if I want my hair to reset. Well I got this at a discount, I was super excited because I have used IGK products like their leave in conditioners and loved it.
Well, the shampoo cleaned my hair to the point that it felt super dry and rubbery. then when adding the conditioner of the same line, it didn’t condition enough to take that feeling away. This is also considering that my hair is pretty healthy right at the moment.
I haven’t bleach it since December of last year and I haven’t used any heat on it. other shampoos do not do this. So I say that if you want that super squeaky feeling then this may be good for you. My hair is not that oily, I can go 3 days or more in the winter without washing my hair and no issues.
So this was too much for me. I am giving it 3 stars because it is ok. But I don’t think I will purchase it again, I am using it instead of my clarifying shampoo, since they do similar in removing the build up.
I have never used a shampoo that hydrated so well as this. Half way through shampooing, I always read the bottle to make sure I’m not using conditioner lol. I am Afro Latina and have wavy, frizzy hair and this takes the frizz out.
Having said that, I could see it being too heavy for people with finer hair textures, if used with the corresponding conditioner. Immediately afterwards my hair feels moisturized and not dry and stripped like most shampoos leave my hair.
My scalp feels good, my hair is shiny, less frizz and easier blowouts!.

I have been on the hunt for a natural shampoo and conditioner that wouldn’t weight down my curls and so far so good with this product. The only con I would give it is that the natural smell could be off-putting for some – myself I can deal with natural, herbal smells better than fake perfume scents.
This shampoo lathers well for being sulfate free and I only need about a pump and a half for my hair, which is almost down to my chest. It rinses cleanly and I follow it with the conditioner and my hair is left really soft and my waves stand out even without putting gel or mouse in it – although I often do have to style it with some sort of product but that is just the way my hair is.
I would recommend this to people with wavy to curly hair for sure. My hair is long and thick and frizzy and I feel like this has helped to tame some of the frizz. I have tried other brands like devacurl and this cleans better for me (and my hair is pretty greasy at the scalp) and is a better value.
Tried washing with it twice. First time, I lathered 4 times, it lathers okay, but it felt like it wasn’t getting clean at the crown. Later that day, it felt like I had product in hair in that spot. Smells very reminiscent of natural insect repellent to me, not overpowering though and I could live with it if it did well for my hair.
Second try, I lathered three times, it produced a great lather, but I noticed my ends suddenly felt like straw and were a tangled mess. I ended up washing again with matrix shampoo. I ran out of room on the shower wall from all the fallen strands.
I might give this shampoo one last try, because it’s expensive, but honestly, it is likely to end up on a shelf in the ladies’ room at work for somebody else to try without having to spend the money.
Featuring a blend of Pro-V nutrients plus Argan and avocado oils, this rich conditioner works to soften and hydrate your hair from root to tip. Micro-moisturizers wrap every strand to fight humidity and control frizz for 48 hours, giving you visibly sleek and touchably soft results that last all day long.
I received both the shampoo and conditioner to review and to give my honest opinion. This product is wonderful. I have curly hair that is dry. So when I wash my hair it tends to feel straw like and corse before I put conditioner on it.
Not with the Pantene Curl Perfection. I was really surprised that I didn’t need a lot of product, quarter sized amount, to get a thick lather going. But what amazed me was that my hair, after shampooing, didn’t feel corse.
It felt soft, like it had conditioner on it already. Then I conditioned my hair with the Pantene Curl Perfection and I have to say just “Wow”. I didn’t have to put any oil serums on my hair or the leave-in conditioner.
My brush went through my hair without snagging and when dry, I had soft curly hair. But that’s not all! I straightened my hair too, and without any products it was just as soft and smooth as if I had.

I’ve been using this Tresemme Smooth & Silky conditioner along with the matching shampoo for several months now. Honestly, this is best shampoo and conditioner that I’ve ever used, and I’ve used many over the years, including some of the much more expensive salon brands, such as Paul Mitchell, Biolage, Redkin, etc.
This one outperforms them all. I have extremely thick, heavy hair and this conditioner leaves my hair feeling lightweight, smooth, and silky. It also entirely eliminates frizz and I haven’t had any issues with split ends since I’ve been using this product.
My brush glides right through my hair with total ease. Even my stylist always says how healthy my hair is. When she asked me what I was using and I told her Tresemme, she said, “I won’t tell anyone. ” You also can’t beat the massive pump bottles for such a low price.
The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the scent isn’t exactly the best. It’s not bad; it’s just not great. It has a very generic smell (same with the shampoo). I’m not really sure how else to describe it.
I kind of wish it had more of a fruity or floral smell to it. That aside, this product is phenomenal and I definitely plan to continue using it.
I’m honestly blown away by the positive reviews. How?! Why?? I recently went out of town and noticed I accidentally left behind our families bag of toiletries. I sent my husband to the nearest drug store to pick up things we needed immediately and this was the shampoo and conditioner he grabbed.
I am by no means a hair care snob and didn’t think too much about what he might grab as I’ve used drug store shampoos and conditioners before with little to no issues. That said, we all used this shampoo and conditioner that night and if my husband complains that the texture of his hair feels different, you’re really doing something.
It is so drying that I could barely get a brush through mine and my daughters hair. It was frustrating enough that I was willing to drive an hour and a half to the nearest Ulta to purchase our normal shampoos and conditioners.
This shampoo does indeed have sulfates which explains the dryness but it also seems to leave a film on hair, not only changing the texture of your hair but made it look and feel not clean. I think my husband could have literally chose ANYTHING else in that store and it would have been better than this.
After shampooing my hair with the TRESemme Smooth and Silky Shampoo I generously applied around the size of a 50 cent piece coin of the TRESemme Smooth and Silky Conditioner through my hair. The condition also comes in a generous 940mL bottle with pump lid, white in colour and beautiful medium to thick consistency, it feels so soft and buttery on my fingertips and melts in beautifully to my hair.
This conditioner also has the same sweet beautiful bubblegum scent. I left it on for a good 3-5 mins while I washed my face and body I then rinsed it out of my hair then continued to towel dry and style.
I found the styling to be easy after using this range as my hair feels less frizzy then before I used it. My hair feels nourished and conditioned, soft and smoother from the added Sunflower Seed Oil Vitamin A.
I would definitely recommend this budget range to those with thicker and frizzy hair like me to have a duo of shampoo and conditioner that still delivers on results.

Paraben-free enriched with a natural blend gentle for everyday use. When using the Garnier Whole Blends Smoothing system of shampoo & conditioner.
I have always had problem hair- wavy, low porosity, never able to get it to look right. I’ve tried so many different products over the years and spent a lot of time researching to no avail. But tried this on a whim and my hair has never been softer.
No tangles, no frizz. Even blow drying at the highest and hottest setting it still looks and feels amazing. Reminds me of how I feel about my hair after going to the salon, and the product is much cheaper.
Great value, definitely recommend for people who’ve struggled with tangles and frizz and generally annoying and lackluster hair.

I don’t know how this line got so many rave reviews. I truly have tried to see the beauty of this hair care line, because of the many positive rave reviews and testimonials. I am a pro stylist and colorist.
I am always trying the latest and greatest, and I am not the kind of person who dismisses a product just because I don’t like it on my hair, because I am also trying to find the best of the best for my clients.
I consistently am testing out various new products on them to see what best suites their hair types. Although I typically lean towards utilizing salon grade lines, I was originally interested in trying this product because it was so well reviewed on Sephora for hair like mine (thick, curly, coarse), it also had great feedback on birdie a website I rely on for feedback on the best of the best in the beauty industry.
That being said, I was not impressed with one product that I’ve tried in this line when I tried it personally, or when I tried it on various clients of many different hair types. I found it to be very lackluster, compared to other products with similar ingredients and natural clean beauty ingredients.
I wanted to love it, I bought a variety of different shampoos, conditioners, and treatments. I wanted to at least use it up, eventually but I have barely made a dent after coming to the conclusion that for some reason this line just seemed super un-nourishing to every type of hair I tried it on.
Even on super fine hair this conditioner left my clients ends feeling like hay. So to close my chapter on Brigeo, I do NOT get the HYPE!.
I have always used sulfate/ paraben free shampoo and conditioner because I had every year permanent straightening treatment. I was aware about the silicones that aren’t good for hair but it wasn’t important to me since my hair was always straight without frizz.
Since 2021 after I move wasn’t able to do my permanent treatment and my hair turned out dry with a lot of frizz. I was still using the same shampoo/conditioner. So I decided to look up for a clean line without silicones.
I bought this small kit Briogeo farewell frizz. First try the shampoo has a milky scent which I love not overpowering just perfect, I have a lot of hair so I always shampoo my hair 2 times. With this shampoo wasn’t different, second shampooing lather very nice and my hair feels smooth instantly soft and healthy.
I follow with conditioner and some days with leave in conditioner. My hair is oily. My scalp tends to itchy. Using this shampoo helped me. to tame the frizz a healthy looking hair , I have 2a 2b type hair and my hair looks gorgeous after using this line at the second day of washing hair my roots look healthy.
I wash my hair twice a week which is wonderful and this shampoo helped me a lot to tame the frizz.
This shampoo works great with frizz. I’ve been struggling with frizzy hair for a while and been trying out different shampoos from different brands (kerastase, moroccan oil etc), and this one is by far the best.
Couple of tips when using this shampoo: it’s sulfate free, therefore it won’t lather. Just because it doesn’t lather, it doesn’t make it’s not cleaning your hair. I apply normal amount and wash twice.
It works out fine. If you haven’t been using sulfate free shampoo before this one, your hair will need some time to get used to this shampoo, and it might take several weeks before your hair stop getting oily faster than what you are used to.
That’s how sulfate free shampoos work. Last thing, make sure you rinse out properly. Just because it doesn’t lather, it doesn’t mean the product isn’t there. Rinse out thoroughly. Hope this helps. This shampoo is the only one that gives me silky, no-frizz hair.
The conditioner features a gentle, sodium chloride free formula and sustainably sourced Babassu oil to tame frizzy hair, increase smoothness and enhance shine. This conditioner moisturizes, detangles and protects the hair from frizz while providing softness and shine.
I have a very dry scalp but also wavy frizzy hair. I typically use dandruff specific shampoo and conditioner as that is all I’ve found that works for my hair and scalp. I was very excited to try something new and so far have been very pleased with the results.
I like to shampoo twice since I only wash weekly (once to clean out dirt/product buildup and again to really clean my scalp). The scent of this shampoo was very pleasant and I loved the thick texture-not watery at all.
It also creates a good lather which is important to really get my scalp feeling clean. I’m on day 2 of my hair and so far my scalp has no itching and no greasy feeling which can happen after not washing your hair daily.
I styled my hair with only some heat protectant and my curls were left with no frizz. Day 2 still no frizz which is great!.
I purchased thinking it was just new packaging. I don’t use shampoos with sulfates and I noted – ‘Redken Frizz Dismiss Shampoo is anti-frizz shampoo with a gentle, sulfate & sodium chloride free formula’.
I have purchased frizz dismiss previously. I noticed the difference as soon as I used shampoo as it foamed a lot. Near top of ingredients is a sulfate. Ingredients – Aqua/Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate.
So a sulfate free shampoo has sulfate as 2nd main ingredient. Advertised as ‘new look, same great formula’. Not a happy customer!.
In conclusion, conditioner for frizzy dry hair can be a great way to tame your locks and add shine. When used correctly, it can help keep your hair moisturized and prevent frizz. However, be sure to use a conditioner that is specifically designed for frizzy dry hair, as using the wrong kind of conditioner can actually make your hair frizzier.
