1. Sakrete U.S. Cold Patch Permanent Pothole Repair – 50 lbs bag
Use to patch pot holes in asphalt
Once compacted, Sakrete U.S. Cold Patch becomes as hard as hot asphalt
Sakrete U. S. Cold patch is a revolutionary ready-to-use recycled asphalt product for permanently repairing potholes, cracks, and other defects in asphalt and concrete surfaces. Sakrete U. S. Cold patch is ready to drive on immediately after application.
Sakrete U. S. Cold patch is dry, odorless, and contains none of the hazardous volatiles found in typical cold asphalts. Tests have proven that sakrete u. s. Cold patch is stronger, easier to use, and much safer than other comparable products.
Works well. I was able to use this to fill a pot hole in my driveway and am happy with the results. I like that it is made from recycled materials and that it is more environmentally friendly than other similar products.
Easy to apply and I used my car to drive over it and flatten it and level it like the package directions show. I don’t own a tamper and appreciated that I didn’t have to purchase extra tools to use this product.
Unlike some other cold patch products, this pours easily from the bag. No clumps or sticky mess. It sets up quite nicely. I use a landscape rake to level and then slightly mound the patch. I also use a tamp to compact each one inch layer.
In a few days you would think it was a hot patch job. The cost is a few bucks higher per bag, but well worth it in terms of the application process and the results. Our driveway is about 1/4 mile, and there is always something to patch.
Very pleased to have found U. S. Cold Patch. Grainger (Zoro) has the best price.
I use this to patch some rather large holes in my driveway. I slightly mound it in the area to be patched then pack it down by driving over it. Patches that I did 4 years ago still look good. I am very happy with this product and I don’t expecct to use anything else in the future.

Originally used for federally specified highway jobs, this filler is an easy permanent solution for keeping concrete smooth. Crack-Stix is applied with heat (a simple hand held torch) and bonds to the sidewalls of the crack.
The instructions say to use a torch I used a small one with adjustable flame and a large one with a three inch diffuser both discolored or burnt the gray sealer. This was applied to one month old concrete that was cleaned two days prior and allowed to dry.
If you’re wanting to fill a gap and don’t care about the looks it will work. Before buying I looked at many reviews and it seemed like a great product but the amount of heat needed seemed to vary and it may be the plastic it’s wrapped in.
I don’t know but I do know I ruined a nice walkway and patio I made for my mother in law.

Reviews From Real Customers
I am sorry to have read that people here have been having issues with the flowability of this product. Personally, I find this product flows very well and really gets into cracks and whatnot. So maybe some here are getting old product that is already on the dry side? The dry time depends on how much of a gap one needs to fill but even with a more deeper application I find that it only takes a few hours to dry.
Its dries as a rubbery concrete. The colour always tends to be a brighter grey at first but give it a few months and it will gradually darken due to the elements. You will most likely have to reapply every 5 years or so, at least if you live in an area that has winters.
But once again, if you get this product in proper form it is very easy to apply, anyway. Definitely easier than constantly having to remove the weeds that emerge within the cracks or gaps between my concrete slabs.
This stuff is pretty easy and straightforward to work with. Its fairly soft, maybe a little harder than play-doh. Ive had good results by just heating it a little and moving on rather than torching it until it bubbles, because it does continue to flow down in the crack even if the visible portion is no longer moving.
It doesnt match new or old concrete (at any stage of washing, either) but its close enough that its not unsightly. For smaller cracks I use a utility knife and roll it into long thin strands to work with.
Works great ! Used this for the gap between the garage and driveway where the fabric blocker was breaking down. removed most of the old and filled in with pea gravel and finished it of with this product and now it is blocking all water penitration ! I used a heat gun and that worked great !.
Seals cracks in concrete & blacktop, Moisture seeping through cracks can freeze & thaw, causing even greater deterioration, Pour n fill prevents such damage. Use to fill cracks up to 1/2″ wide in blacktop to help stop damaging water penetration.
Ideal for repairs prior to applying driveway sealer.
Happy with this product! Not too thick and not too thin: fills cracks really well and seems to be flexible when it dries which is important with temperature changes. I used the nozzle that came with the bottle to dispense the sealer and used a putty knife to smooth and level the surface.
I purchased a different brand at F&F at similar price point that touted flexibility. It was rock hard in a few hours on warm day. This product definitely retains flexibly much better. It’s only been in place maybe 4-5 weeks.
This product is easy to use. Be sure to stand the bottle upside down overnight before you use it. It is quite heavy to shake it if you don’t. It works good on smaller cracks, so fix it before the crack gets too big.
100% acrylic latex water-based product is textured and extremely elastic in most temperatures. Powerful adhesion spans gaps up to 3 in wide. Ultra low VOC is environmentally friendly with no harsh chemical smells.
Perfect for repairing large or small cracks in concrete, brick, or stone including sidewalks, garages, sheds, driveways, and patios. Adheres to asphalt, brick, mortar, concrete, stone, stucco, wood, and cinder block.
Commercial grade polymer modified, multipurpose concrete repair mortar for making thin repairs to chipped, cracked, or flaking concrete surfaces, and masonry surfaces. Adheres to concrete, bricks, block, and stone.
Trowels to a feather edge of 1/16″. Do not use in cracks less than 1/8″ wide or in expansion joints. For deep repairs on vertical surfaces apply in 1/4″ layers. Allow 2 hour drying time between layers.
Exceeds the compressive strength requirements of ASTM C-387. Ready-to-use, add only water. Coverage: 10 lb. will cover 8. 5 sq. ft. at 1/8″ thickness.
Fantastic product. Keep in mind how you prep your surface will determine the quality of repair. Highly recommend pressure washing the surface to remove the dust and other particulates from the surface otherwise you may have bonding issues.
If you don’t have a pressure washer, a coarse brush with water will suffice. A YouTube video on the whole process which is a great guide is available. product is Designed for thin repairs anything deeper then a few layers will require a layered approach or use of another product.
Fixed the spalling on my steps and walk way without issue. The thing to keep in mind like all cement, a repair won’t match the colour of aged concrete but time and the elements will blend it. My only complaint was not having enough product.
I bought the last 2 buckets this morning. Mixed up and used first bucket very happy with Product and easy to use. Opened second bucket and concrete repair was not in a sealed bag like first one. So now I am thinking someone else had Opened it and returned this and how am I to know that it is actually in the bucket.
Lesson learned will from now on open lid to check first.
I bought and tried four different types of concrete repair material. This one is by far the best! I am a 50+ female DYI type. Used it in walkway where large chunks had come out. Based on the other review I read I’m going to buy more and try it on spalled area of exterior garage floor!.
DAP traces its roots back to 1865, when Robert H. Dicks and Elmer Wiggim began producing sealing wax for food-canning out of Dicks’ garage in Dayton, Ohio. Through innovation and acquisition, the company continued to expand its product line.
DAP entered into an exclusive marketing agreement with the worldwide leader in silicone technology in 1980 to market a full line of silicone sealants. In the mid 1980’s, Weld wood branded adhesives came into the fold.
Plastic Wood brand was integrated into the DAP portfolio of products in the 90’s.

Back blew out immediately after squeezing the tube. Seems like it could be a decent product otherwise. It doesn’t seep into cracks well but seems good for superficial repairs. It can be useful under certain situations.
Be able to instantly address cracks and breaks in many surfaces with Liquid Nails Concrete and Mortar Repair on hand. This product is specially made to help seal and repair joints and cracks in concrete and other types of materials.
It is weather-resistant and is suited for both indoor and outdoor applications. Liquid Nails Concrete and Mortar Repair is an acrylic compound with silicone, making it flexible enough to move into small crevices and very narrow areas to achieve total coverage.
It is top-coatable and paintable, as well. This water damage wall repair compound stays intact and reliable through different types of weather. Use it for sealing and fixing cracks in the floors, walls, thresholds, patios and more.
The paintable concrete crack filler is also safe to be used on stucco, brick, stone, mortar and cinder blocks.
First purchased last summer to repair some cracks in my stone retainer wall. It was a lot easier and less time consuming than mixing mortar and trying to get into small cracks. You don’t want to over fill cracks to much and with a latex glove just run your index finger across to smooth out.
In this instance less is more. Here it is a year later and it’s still holding strong. This past winter I repaired a few vertical cracks in my stone wall basement using a little more and smoothing it out a quarter inch each side of the crack.
I’m now in the process of painting the basement walls with Drylok Water Proofer which should help prevent any further cracks by keeping moisture and condensation out. Last year the Liquid Nails Concrete Mortar Repair was a darker gray which blended in with masonry stone, but now it is a very light gray and very noticeable, but you can paint over once it has completely dried.
Shocked and surprised no one has wrote a review this product is the absolute best. I’m a female in my late 50’s and and expect any product to do what it says it will, this absolutely does.
I own a house with some brick components–that is 121 years old. Mortar has needed replacing in a number of areas. This stuff works great. It goes in easy–and if you wait a day or two you can use your fingers to smooth out any places where you insertion with a caulking gun is not quite perfect without it sticking to your finger.
It needs to dry a bit before you can work it with the hand. But–once you get the hang of it–you will find it makes a wonderful seal–it matches most mortar–and it is waterproof. It is easy to blend it in with the existing mortar and matches perfectly.
Had to used the glue for water proof adhesive , putting up shower panels, the directions are to be followed to a T if you want excellent results. There are many adhesives on the market and I have used liquid nail extensively.
Liquid nails will cost a little more, but will stay put. The only real factor to keep in mind is the temperature, other than that it works well and comes out smooth. I used rubbing alcohol to make sure my surface was clean and free of any oil or dirt.
I also used the alcohol to removed any seepage in the cracks.
Provides a long-lasting bond to masonry. Weatherproof, maintains flexibility in extreme heat and freeze-thaw conditions. Paintable, sandable and stainable. Perfect for sealing cracks or gaps in concrete or masonry structures.
Holds its grip in all types of weather. Looks like cured concrete. Seals out radon migration. Meets or exceeds Federal Specifications TT-S-00230C, Type II Class A; ASTM C-920, Type S, Grade NS, Class 25, use NT, M, and A.
This is truly an awesome and miracle sealant product that one really has to experience it to understand what I am trying to say. It seals like no other in the market. It wins hands down. We started with our garage renovation and since it’s an old house, there were several cracks on the side walls and ceilings.
We didn’t wanted to try using cement to conceal the crack and that’s when we gave this product a try. Not only did it seal the cracks but it looked like there was never a crack before. It made it so smooth that we even painted the whole garage after sealing.
Noone could notice any difference on the walls and we are so thankful that the job was completed with effortless ease without us using any tools on it. Great for even novice DIY-ers.
As a new homeowner, I’ve been using PL Self Leveling Concrete PU Sealant to fill in small cracks around my basement and garage. I live in WV and it’s been a little cold with it being fall, but the sealant was really thick and hard to get out of the tube.
Because of that, it makes applying it a bit hard and not as smooth as I would like. It had me putting to much in certain areas. However, it does what it is said to do. It does create a seal over the crack which you are supposed to be able to paint over, though I have not tried.
The sealant does remain a little sticky to the touch after it has cured though, so painting over it might be the pest way to remedy that. Overall, it is a good sealant to tough up minor cracks, but I would not use it for much more than that.
The Aquaphalt 4. 0 Black Water-Based Asphalt and Concrete Patch is a revolutionary permanent asphalt and concrete repair material for pothole repair, pavement repair, utility cuts, walkways, tennis courts, and driveway repair — it works even in wet and cold conditions.
It goes on reasonably well though very sticky. Product does not last, and shrinks considerably after a few months. You also have to use the product in one use because then it all hardens and the rest of the tube needs to be tossed.
Used it to fill two tubes worth of cracks in our long driveway. It did a perfect job of filling cracks, which ranged from 1/4 to 1/2” wide. Some were about 4’ long. A putty knife easily smoothed out any that spilled over.
Very easy clean up. All filled cracks were solid in about 12 hours. I will use this product again and I recommend it.
Rust-Oleum is a two-component epoxy-based compound designed to repair cracks and damaged areas on concrete floors. Concrete Patch & Repair results in a tough surface up to three times stronger than concrete.
No priming is required before applying floor coatings. This path becomes paintable in 8 hours.
We had several places in our automotive shop where the concrete had broken out around floor fixtures or had opened large cracks. Each of the components comes in a paste like consistency which becomes very fluid after mixing the two components.
We were able to fill cavities and deep cracks where it seeped in and filled the cavities and cracks. After it set up, which took longer than advertised, we were able to sand off the excess to level the patch before painting the floor.
We had previously patched this floor with other concrete patches only to have the patch fail in time. This is an awesome product.
Great product for filling cracks on old concrete. price is on high side. Needs to have little bogger size. I live in mountains. Bog box is 65 miles away. For me get on computer and wait for 2 days. For me it’s lot cheaper.
For over 80 years, Durham’s Rock Hard Water Putty has been making repairs in wood, plaster, drywall, stone, tile, concrete and other stable surfaces. Just add water to this powdered material, apply it into voids, cracks and holes.
When thoroughly dry, it can be sanded, drilled, sawed and painted. Repaired areas are very hard and long lasting. Durham’s can also be cast or molded to reproduce missing trim pieces or in handicraft or artistic applications.
This is great for many different, permanent repairs. If used properly, it makes a stronger repair than the actual item you are repairing. You can add ‘water’ based stain to it to match wood. Once dry, you can drill, and anchor screws in it.
When my family first moved into this home i was about 9 years of age and found an old can of this stuff in the cellar. I decided to play with it by adding a little water to see the results, but they weren’t too favorable because i guess it had expired its’ shelf life.
So i threw the rest of it into the trash can. A few years later, i used to hear my mom talk about how impressed she was with this stuff “water Putty” and i never asked her about her experience with it because of the guilt of throwing it in the garbage when i didn’t get a positive reaction from finding it in the basement.
Now that i remembered about its applicability and different uses, i decided to purchase me a can of my own. I was impressed of how smooth and creamy like peanut butter this stuff was to work with, instead of lumpy and runny as the same stuff i found in the cellar.
If i new this stuff was that easy to use, i would have been using it on many more repair projects around the house over my years of residence. Bully!.

Patched area is ready for immediate use. 50 lb. bag.
This product is great because your only other option is to call an asphalt company to come do the job. And the job has to be big enough for most places to even bother with it. It works great all’s you have to do is use a jumping jack compactor.
A jumping jack is the secret I had to repair a pothole after doing some excavation work cuz the city blamed it on me even though I didn’t cut into the asphalt. I used 8 bags for a pothole and tempt it really good with a jumping jack several times it’s hard as a rock and blends in well with the original asphalt on the street.
You can’t really even tell the difference that it’s actually a cold patch product. For what it is it works great I’m sure beats the alternative you just got to be smart about what you doing.
Best to use when the weather is 70-90 degrees outside. While your Cleaning the patch area, Place the bags in the hot Sun, turning the bag over after 30 min or so. Doing so will soften/loosen material enough that you can easily pour straight from the bag and manipulate into patch area without much tampering needed.
Immediately Cover area with plastic and drive your vehicle forward and back a few times until entire area is compacted to your liking.
I had used a Sakrete product last year that took 2 months to set. It was ridiculous how soft it would get when the sun warmed it each day. It would get glossy, gooey and tarry. This material handled well and after 1 week is quite firm.
Behaves more like this type of product did before VOCs were taken out. It has bonded well and settles quite quickly on its own to become fairly dense with raking even before tamping. I recommend this product highly.
A quality mixture of sand, coarse aggregate and cementitious materials. For repair and building jobs where concrete thickness exceeds 2 inches (50 mm). Ideal for pouring footings, setting posts and poles, and building walkways, driveways, patios and steps.
When used as directed, SAKRETE High Strength Concrete Mix meets or exceeds the strength specifications in ASTM C 387. 60 lb. bag. Coverage depends on thickness of application.
When it comes to repairing cracks in your driveway, you have a few different options. Concrete crack filler is one of the most popular options because it is easy to use and doesn’t require any special tools or equipment.
You can find concrete crack filler at most home improvement stores.
To use concrete crack filler, simply clean out the crack with a wire brush and then apply the filler using a caulk gun. Once the filler is in place, smooth it out with your finger and then allow it to dry for 24 hours.
