Best Carpet Cleaner For Urine (2023 Updated)

Now I definitely did not use this product as originally intended. I don’t have a Hoover wet vacuum or carpet cleaning vacuum of any kind. I simply diluted to the strength recommended on the bottle of 3oz of cleaner per one gallon of water in a sprayer, pre-treated the area and let it set for about 10 minutes.

Came back with a stiff brush and worked the cleaner into several spots that had been pretreated and blotted it up with a cotton towel. OMG I could not believe it. One year old stains that have had nearly every carpet cleaning product applied to it over the year came up with ease.

I was truly amazed. I did not take a before picture as I was not expecting this product to work at all. I am just shocked out how amazing of a job this product did on those pet stains. If you have a few stubborn stains, give this product a try, you will absolutely not be disappointed.

My family and I have a male kitten who is 9 months old named Simba. Recently, he has been leaving urine on our carpet and items that are rectangular shaped. He’s still young and we are trying to get him to break this habit.

That leaves the odor problems and stains to us. We’ve tried to get rid of the odor and stains, but it is very stubborn. Hoover Oxy Pet Urine Eliminator was one cleaner that did the trick. It is fresh smelling and helped get rid of those lingering smells.

Our carpet is stain free and smells amazing. I loved how it worked to get rid of the accidents for us so we didn’t have to keep scrubbing for long periods of time, or worry about what they will smell like in the future.

We recently adopted one of those “pandemic puppies” everyone was raving about. I don’t really understand what’s so great about them. They really make a mess of the place. Ha! I’m kidding. Our recently adopted puppy is the best! She did make a few messes early on but this carpet cleaner did an excellent job of getting the carpets cleaned.

Once we had decided the “accidents phase” was over I wanted to clean the carpet in the bedroom & behind the desk I found a spot where I had spilled some coffee and didn’t see it had dropped. This cleaner took care of that spot which was pretty impressive.

I had spilled the coffee at least six months ago & hadn’t made any attempt to clean it until now. The spot came right out!.

This is a fantastic cleaner! For me, it did a great job on some old stains and odors that other cleaners did not adequately remove. I had ended up periodically spraying stuff on them to cover the smell, but since using Bubba’s a few month’s ago, it’s gone and hasn’t returned.

A few months ago our vehicle quit and we had to quickly get another. The one we got ran fine but the inside. well the headliner looked like someone had held repeated soda spewing parties. It was coated in various shades of brown and nearly black spray patterns that went from the front all the way to the back window.

I had no idea what to do with it. I got out the Bubba’s and figured I couldn’t make it much worse. I sprayed a small area and blotted with a white washcloth and I was surprised, pleased and very excited when the stains came out and were wicked onto the cloth.

I began working a grid pattern so I wouldn’t miss any spots. I used numerous white washclothes to blot the stains and it took me a little while, but I was stunned when I got finished. The Enzyme Cleaner got all the stains out, including the hand oil stains on the visors, and the headliner looked nearly new! It also removed that stank “old” odor that was embedded and gave the car a fresh, clean scent.

As a side note, the white washclothes were saturated with the stains and the cleaner by the time I finished. they came out of the wash bright white and clean. I have also used the Enzyme Cleaner in the laundry room on sweat stains and ring around the collar on shirts.

I have has some very good results with Bubba’s and would gladly purchase it again as well as recommend it to others.

My product arrived intact, undamaged and was well packaged against leaks or spills in transit. I was eager to see how well it worked, because we have 4 miniature dachshunds and when it rains they potty inside on my carpet because they are stubborn.

I have some areas of carpet which smell from potty accidents. I followed the directions on the label, which were clear, and easy to read and understand. I used the product at night, for ease of drying overnight without my kids and pups walking all over it.

I was and still am very pleased with the outcome. Because you must soak to the padding, it does take a while to dry fully but it works! My carpet is clean, dry and has no more lingering urine odor. I am very pleased, and since I have a lot of carpet, in 4 rooms of my home, I will continue to use this product and buy more so that I can continue to eliminate the smell from my carpet.

I am happy to report that my carpet was not bleached or discolored by using this cleaner. I also found a pee spot on my floor, and was able to spray, let it sit, and wipe it away with ease, and no lingering odor which might draw the dogs back to that spot in the future.

I cannot rave enough at how well this product works. I am going to share a little of my product with my friends who have cats and dogs, so they can see for themselves how well it works, and then they can buy for themselves.

This product is great, and I will purchase and use it again! The pictures I’ve included are my first 2 spots on my carpet that I treated using this cleaner. The cleaner has just been applied in the pic and was allowed to dry completely over the next 2 days.

The second pic is my laminate floor which had just been cleaned with this product. It did not harm my floor in any way and worked great. My carpets and floors have no lingering urine odor. I am very, very pleased with this product and will continue to use it and sing its praises!.

I was eager to order The Pet Stain & Odor Terminator. I had been battling an awful cat odor on the floor of my master bedroom closet for over a month. I’m a single Granny and could not afford to get my Master bathroom closet floor tiled yet.

I had recently adopted a three year old cat. The cat had a difficult time adjusting to his new surroundings and was hiding in my master bedroom closet. The cat odor in this closet was so bad I had to remove everything from the closet and dryclean or wash every item.

A couple of items I just threw away. I would no longer use this closet until the cat odor problem was entirely gone. I steam cleaned the carpenting, but after three attempts the carpeting still had a terrible odor.

This product is Veterinarian recommended and is kid and pet friendly which is great to know. It has a natural bio-enzymatic formula and is guaranteed to remove pet urine. As soon as the product had arrived via ground mail I could hardly wait to test it out.

When the Pet Stain & Odor Terminator arrived at my home I quickly read the instructions. My closet had remained empty for weeks. I quickly took off the secure cap and inserted the sprayer into the spray bottle and tightened the sprayer.

I then started spraying the walls of the closet and then continued onto the floor. I sprayed the entire walls and the floor. The floor did not have any urine staines or any other type of stains, but had a really awful cat smell that had saturated into the cement floor.

While spraying the entire closet, I could smell the strong, but pleasant welcome scent of the pet stain & odor terminator. I’m not quite sure if the scent of this product had peppermint or spearmint in it or a combination of both or what it was exactly, but it was great.

The scent was 100 times better than any other product I tried. Finally, a product that actually worked. This wonderful spray product was eliminating the awful cat odor. Within about 30 minutes the floor was almost dry.

I didn’t bother to soak up the spray. I just left the closet door open and went about my day. I checked back five hours later and the Bubba’s Pet Stain & Odor Terminator had almost completely disappeared.

The product’s scent was now very mild and the cat odor was completely gone. I am so happy to say that their is a faint smell of the products pleasant scent and NO cat odor. It has now been two days and the master bedroom closet still is free of cat odor and I can’t smell the scent of the Pet Stain & Odor Terminator.

The cat odor has been eliminated/terminated. I am so thankful for this product. Only wish I had discovered this product sooner. And my new fur baby (cat) has adjusted to his new home and no longer hides in my closet.

So no more cat odor. I’m happy and my cat is now well adjusted to his new home. No more problems and I still have more than 3/4 of the bottle full. And that’s after also lighting spraying my living room furniture.

The arms of my couch were soiled so I got out my spot bot green steam machine and put in its usual steam machine detergent, but also sprayed the arms of the couch with this great product. You could also put some of this product in the spot bot green machine along with the spot bot green machine cleaner.

I clean the cat litter box twice a day. Once a week I clean, wash and dry the entire cat litter box. Now that I have this wonderful product I will lightly spray the litter box as an added protection from cat odors with my new Pet Stain & Odor Terminator spray once a week.

Then I refill the box with my favorite cat litter. This product can also be used on carpets, tile floors and the fabric material of your couch and many other problem areas. I could have used this product when my kids were young and they had accidents while on the couch.

I’m not one to review products such as these (cleaning products) but after trying this, I had too. I have a little Shih-Tzu; he’s almost 11 years old and as with many small/toy dogs, he doesn’t always wait to go outside and we didn’t have much luck with puppy pads.

It wasn’t a big deal when we first got him as our home had ceramic tile throughout and one area rug and he would never potty on the rug. We moved to the country and our new house has carpeting in the bedrooms and wood floors throughout.

The first thing we did was seal and polish the floors, the house is older and these were original and we wanted to keep them. We assumed since Maxx never peed on our area rug, he wouldn’t on the bedroom carpet- BIG MISTAKE! At first, he wouldn’t and went out for quite a few walks.

then he started going in our bedroom at the corner of our bed. Since he’s a small dog, he never reached our box spring or comforter, quilt, etc. , depending on the time of year but the carpet was terrible.

I was at Walmart and decided to buy a bottle and try it on one corner of the carpet and it worked like a dream. Granted you’re on your hands and knees scrubbing (purchased some knee pads and new scrub brushes LOL), but it’s worth it.

After cleaning those spots, we used our carpet steam cleaner and the carpet looked brand new again. I went and purchased a couple of bottles at my husband’s request, and grabbed the Resolve Easy Clean Brush Kit, even better at scrubbing, we just don’t use the foam cleaner till after we’re done scrubbing.

When you have children who like to pee-pee when either potty training. Or if they are older with learning disabilities or just children being naughty. The #Rugdoctor is your life line. I have been using the spays in-between carpet cleaning.

I usually hire a when I have a big room to clean or if I’m moving into a new place. At £30 €30 it’s worth the hiring if you can’t lay down your own carpets. I would like to get my own but I just don’t have the space to store on in my #Apartment.

This stuff is really good. Read the reviews so I decided to try it but I used it on hard wood floor. I spray it directly on floor and put a lil in the mop water but smell went away instantly but I did have to reapply a couple of times but that’s because I didn’t know my dog was peeing in a certain area till it started smelling.

But it’s getting back to normal so I will buy again and recommend the product as well.

I think this is the best product on the market for absorbing dog urine and getting rid of the smell. It’s like magic the way this stuff pulls the stain out with little effort. I definitely recommend this product.

This thing works great to get the stink out of the floors a pet can leave. I have a cat that is having issues with her kidneys (she’s 15 years old). We love her dearly, but she’s been peeing on our floors for a while now.

It’s almost impossible to get that rancid smell off the floor, but Angry Orange does it. These days we’ve been keeping her outside in our yard so if she has to do her business she can do it out there.

She has a bed out there under a gazebo which makes her very comfortable. She’s an indoor/outdoor cat, so she has no problem staying outside. When we let her stay inside we have to keep a close eye on her because she deliberately avoids using the litterbox unless she knows we’re looking at her.

It’s not like she can’t use it. Her vet says she has a behavioral problem.

My dog had an accident on the carpet. I usually use a different cleaner, but it didn’t completely remove the urine spot according to my black light. I had heard tons of good things about this cleaner wanted to give it a try.

I found it at target for $20. I used my black light thoroughly saturated the stain. I let it sit overnight then used my carpet cleaner to suck everything up in the am. I also went over it with just water.

Shockingly, NOTHING!! There are no stains when I tested with the blacklight!! Definitely recommend! Just make sure you give it plenty of time to work! Oh it smells good, like one of those orange cream Popsicles.

doesnt work. i hesitated to pay $20 for a cleaner. but nothing seemed to work. i sprayed entire area, very strongborange smell, ok nit awful not great , after it dried and settled down smellled like orange cat urine.

shampooed area adding bleach to shamppo. better, re sprayed while carpet still. damp. checked later, didnt smell cat pee. door to room closed all day and night. next morning checked. idor still thete about an eight of bottle used.

just diesnt work. this was second enzyme cleaner i tried. dont waate $20. it doesnt work on cat urine. so $10 on other one, $20 on angry orange = $30 wasted.

This product is amazing, we had just gotten a new puppy and she had picked a favorite spot in our bedroom to do her business. I had tried several things and nothing was taking the smell out of my carpet or getting it cleaned.

I got this product and have used it several times in the past month and the smell is gone, the stains are gone. I was very skeptical about it working, but it did the job and fast to. It leaves behind a great smell and doesn.

t drench your carpet like you would think it would. It is very easy to use with your cleaning machine and it doesn’t bleach or leave any residue behind afterwards either. It has even helped deter our puppy from using that spot anymore.

I highly recommend this product for anyone with pets.

With two dogs in the house (one puppy, one older) we try desperately to keep up with the pee pee accidents in the house, but it’s difficult. We have wee wee pads all over the house and they know how to go on them, but often forget – or go right next to it! None of the products we tried previously seemed to remove the urine smell from the carpet, but this one is a lifesaver.

I was threatening to pull the carpet up and throw it out, but this product actually works! It is also much cheaper than some of the other products. I’ve paid up to $30 for a small bottle of something that didn’t work at all! The Clorox Spray was sold out in my store, but delivery was within a day or two when I ordered it online.

I use this mostly for laundry to pretreat all types of stains in whites and colors. It works great for the bottom of white socks with dirt and stains from sports and general walking around in socks. It is excellent for pretreating bedding, underwear, shorts, pants etc.

for urine stains. Since it works well on lots of types of stains on multiple materials and colors it is misleading that the product name is focused only on urine. It is a broad-based laundry pretreatment so don’t limit the use to just urine treatment.

I have not used it for surface or bathroom cleaner. The fragrance of the product smells. like very strong hydrogen peroxide which may be offensive to some people but that is worth overlooking because the product has broad applications and is worth ignoring the offensive smell if it bothers you.

After reading the 5 star reviews on this product I decided to purchase the 5L of this, although it arrived extremely quickly the product itself is awful. After carefully studying what others had said about the dilution rate and it sometimes taking 3 times to work I got prepared.

Firstly I hoovered the carpet and scrubbed it with a scrubbing brush and neat solution. After it had dried the smell was absolutely awful but I was prepared for this. I then hired the rug doctor and used a 80% solution and 20% water initially it was fresh however the when dried it was even worse.

A week later I hired the rug doctor again and repeated the process the smell after drying was even worse. I then put plain hot tap water in the machine and tried to “rinse” the carpet to no avail The smell is now just horrendous.

It is like the solution has brought every single terrible smell to the surface and it’s just overwhelming. my carpet is less than 12 months old and I have a small frenchie that has had a few accidents which have been hand cleaned initially.

I have shampooed the carpet 2 times before with the rug doctor and their solution and NEVER had it been like this. I am currently having to have the carpet replaced as I can’t see the point in trying to shampoo it again in case it gets even worse although I’m not sure that’s possible.

I spent £20 on the solution and £48 hiring the rug doctor twice and bow I have to pay for a new carpet and fitting. I was initially really happy to find something that claimed to “ eradicate “ the smells however please dont waste your money.

Complete waste of money. Clearly not suitable to use in a carpet cleaner. The Seller has no clue how the product should be used – Just referred me to the Carpet Cleaner instructions !!! At the end of the day does not fix the problem it is supposed to fix – Getting pet odours – predominantly urine – out of your carpets.

Have now purchased a different product that works really well !!.

I bought this as I had a cat suffering from dementia. She would urinate on the carpet, unaware she had done so. This carpet cleaner was ideal for spot cleaning these areas. It has a nice, light, lemony scent and dispelled the urine smell.

I used it to clean my living room rug and it came up a treat. Excellent product.
