20 Best Binder For Large Chest (2023 Updated)

I really did. I’ve been using Avery Durabinders for years and decided to give this one a try. It’s a few little nit-pick things that just don’t work for me. The biggest one is that the black rubber open/close lever touches and gets in the way of turning the pages smoothly – they get stuck on the lever when it’s closed.

I took the black rubber off the lever, and that helped a little but the lever still hits the papers. Second, I was expecting the front and back covers to be rigid – they’re not. They flex a lot, and when standing on end on my shelf they sag and the binder doesn’t stand up very well.

Third, the front view window is a nice idea, but it’s so “roomy” that the paper I printed for it doesn’t stay in place and I’m constantly having to reposition it. The inside pockets are nice and roomy, the rings are solid and strong.

I imagine it will last a long time, it’s just those few little things that will have me going back to the Durabinders.

FYI that although the part number 79738 comes up on Walmart website when using laptops and desktops, it might not show on a cell phone (Walmart Pick-Up associate’s) More importantly, the “79738 Assorted” shown on Avery’s website will list six particular colors of binders as part of a (a bit over twice the amount) deal.

If you order this same-looking “79738 Assorted” via Walmart then you will get it sold by the 1 each of whatever color they have on hand to pick for you at their current price of (certain dollars) each.

That’s one “each” binder. Not one “each” Assorted “set” as dictated by Avery. Found this out the hard way after I thought this was just another large % off Back-to-School deal they were doing that week.

Instead of six in a particular quantity of colors as per Avery, Walmart had picked -two- in my least favorite color for certain dollars each. Was told this was a glitch and it may well have been. Just wish they’d clarified more if they were going to use the actual manufacturer part number on this.

Cancelled the order and left with one binder from their salesfloor in a color I wanted. Still looking for a good set of binders. The one binder looks of good-fair quality. One ring does not precisely match up and I wonder how well it will hold up.

Would recommend to a friend as long as I stipulated that color they would get would be potluck.

I am not a rough child. I am an adult who purchased the ultralast binder for no other purpose than to keep loose important papers. I wanted something where the rings wouldn’t separate causing lost papers.

Well, the rings don’t separate causing lost papers, just part of the ultralast breaks causing lost ultralast parts. The one touch tab to open the rings is now gone. I expected more than 30 openings, I expected an ultralast.

As a teacher, I am not only very hard on office supplies, but also very tough to please when it comes to quality. The one touch slant rings is nice for someone who is constantly taking papers in and out of a binder.

I have yet to see if the rings stay true or if they will start to overlap with use. They seem sturdy and don’t give any indication or breaking down or getting misaligned. I really look at this too because there is nothing worse than spending money on a binder and the rings don’t last.

This one is proving to last. I really like the double folders in the front and back. The plastic feels very strong and doesn’t seem to want to rip. You can fit quite a few papers in them as well. The see through front and back plastic allows for you to put whatever you want as the cover and back.

This is true for the binding as well. The one touch open is extremely convenient as well. Overall this is a very sturdy binder that I don’t think will disappoint.

The 1. 5 inch binder was my first choice because it said the capacity was 400 sheets and I had 384. So, this is probably nitpicking on my part, but I found it too difficult to turn the pages without stressing the holes in the paper and winding up with a torn page.

So, I returned the 1. 5 inch and bought the exact same brand in the next size up, the 2 inch binder, and it works much better for my purposes. I needed to be able to turn the pages as I’m reading the material and flip through them without tearing them out.

So, having extra space in the larger binder #212-167 with a stated capacity of 565 pages works better for me. I think the binders are of good quality for a reasonable price and should stand up to multiple users in an office setting.

So final word is that both the 1. 5 and 2 inch binders in this brand are really 5-star products. Just consider going the next size up if you are near stated capacity.

I love these heavy duty binders. They very sturdy and have many uses. They can hold up to 400 sheets! The cover is smooth and very easy to keep clean. The binders themselves are versatile and help keep projects safe and neat.

I love using Avery binders for recipes. Plastic sleeves keep the recipe, I am trialing, clean and readable. We use them for garden journals, filling them with photos and projects. Avery makes all our paper projects so much simpler! I never worry about the cover being torn or getting dirty.

These hold up to 400 pages, giving loads of space for recipes. The children love going to Avery and getting cool designs for their cover,. Bright and colorful, it gives an incentive to treat their binders well.

The hinges and edges of these binders are split and tear resistant. I confidently can say that Avery Binders are best in class. I highly recommend them!!.

I wanted to find a set of sturdy, well-made binders that also looked good in my office. I had tons of random binders that kept tearing at the folds. They just looked like chaos in my office because every binder was a different color/print.

I was getting sick of these flimsy mismatched binders that kept falling apart. So many of these binders had rings that would not stay completely closed causing the papers to slip out. So I was really happy when I received a set of these binders in red.

I emptied out all of the old binders and put my papers in these Binderteck binders. Now, everything looks sleek and coordinated in my office. The binders are sturdy, well-made, and operate smoothly and seamlessly.

So far, I have been very impressed. I will likely order more.

These were well thought out. They reinforced the bottom corners so they don’t get smashed. The label area on the front is nice and wide with a small cutout at the bottom to push up the old label. I love the silver finger hole for getting it out of a group of binders with ease.

They don’t show it in the photos, but the compressor bar is a great feature and keeps the pages from flopping around. The release lever is smooth and works very well. And they have a little catch where the rings slide through the cover so the binder doesn’t fall open.

And it’s not that crunchy plastic that most binders are made of. It’s got a linen look that’s very professional. I use them for 8. 5″ x 11″ sheets that I cut in half and 2-hole punch. We use them to store recent work orders until they are filed.

It’s holds a lot. I have both the 2 and 3 in widths. I prefer the 2″ because it’s easier to grip.

I have been meaning to go paperless for about a year now, and finally, the pandemic gave me the motivational push. I was so glad when I finally found Bindertek’s binders. The colors are the icing on the cake, but the binder’s functionality is what made them well worth the price. The durable material is going to hold up for years, and the metal clasps are not easily going to wear down or bend (as has been the case with so many other binders).

I love that I can label them with a paper insert, and pull them off the shelf with the hole punch ring. They are really versatile@ I bought a red for family documents, blue for medical, green for personal finance, and yellow for freelance, and white for sheet music.

It’s a great system and It’s going to be one that will be easy to maintain and grow with. Even when going paperless, these binders are worth the expense to have.

The binder seems well built and has metal trim on the edges that tend to wear. It also has a nice label pocket on the outside. But the rings are too small. I bought a 4″ binder with D-rings so that I could maximize the storage and actually put almost 4″ of pages in the binder.

The rings on this binder are only 3″ tall leaving a 1″ gap between the top of the ring and the outside of the binder. So, you can only store 3″ of material in this 4″ binder. And, the binder was not inexpensive.

I will look elsewhere in the future.

I’ve been interested in buying some strong legal binders for preservation of important papers and for storing my artwork for my book illustrations. The Bindertek 3-Ring 3-inch binders seem to be the right solution for my needs.

I love that the corners are reinforced with attractive metal edging. They look professional to meet my needs if I should go to show my artwork to a client and sturdy enough for my everyday needs. I recommend them highly.

A little bigger than I wanted. Unlike the white abdominal binders you get after surgery, this one can only velcro secure in a finite space, not the totality of the belt, thus rendering it very size specific.

It does not velcro unto itself. However, it is a good substitution if you’re tired of the white getting grimey looking. It is stiffer than the white belts and not as soft, but the same general principle.

This is a very nice binder. I have an incisional hernia from gall bladder surgery. This binder is thinner and not quite as hot as other binders I purchased. It fits and looks much better under my shirt.

It doesn’t provide maximum support, but sometimes you don’t need an ultra strong garnet. Well made, good value, quite comfortable.

Much better fit than some other brands I have purchased. Doesn’t roll up or slide down.

The binder is burgundy, not my favorite color; however, it would stand out in a sea of binders that are often black or white. The only thing that I wish the binder had is a second pocket. There is a pocket at the front of the binder which is where I will add information about any weekly events, etc? However, I would use a back pocket for new recipe ideas or perhaps new blogging projects that come in.

Even without the second pocket this binder easily defeats its competitor. Most binders are flimsy, bend easily, and often rip or tear apart; not my binder. Most binders have rings/clips that are difficult to open and difficult to close.

Have you ever gotten your finger or part of your hand caught in binder ring as it slams closed? Yeah, not fun. That isn?t a problem with my binder. The Samsill Top Performance DXL Locking D-Ring Binder with Label Holder is competitively priced and a great product to add to your repertoire; I did!.

This one came to me in a burgundy kind of finish and is 1 inch rings. I generally like the smaller rings so that is great. these rings are sturdy and can hold up to 225 sheets of paper. The D-rings make the paper easily flippable which of course, I like.

The left hand side has a pocket for additional storage which I think is always necessary to have. If nothing else, it can hold stuff until you are ready to file it on the ring. I only wished it had two.

This binder also has a hard cover finish which is always nice compared to the softer covers. I think these particular binders hold up longer. Since they are made for heavier use, that is another win! Of course the label area makes it easy to mark the contents which again, is always a need.

I really like this notebook. I have decided I’m going to make this my Allen Family Notebook! I need one these days. In my notebook, I will print out calendar pictures, info that schools ask for the kids throughout out the year, school calendar, summer activity journal, contacts.

The pocket can hold loose papers. This is perfect. What I like the most is the sturdy design.

The D ring allows more pages to fit than than the round ring. I fit a whole Chemistry loose-leaf textbook inside it, and could still add more pages if necessary. It lays flat unlike the round ringed binders as well and seems to be pretty durable.

I would definitely purchase this product again.

The binder itself is fine, however, out of three that we purchased in store, the label on the spine only peeled off cleanly on one of them. For the other two, the labels would only come off piecemeal and they left a residue.

We used Goo Gone to get it off, but there’s still a whitish residue on the black binders that won’t come off. Doesn’t look very good on a black binder. If you buy this binder in the store, make sure the spine label comes off cleanly before you purchase it.

This is a very useful and affordable tool for keeping documents in order. My plan is create a collection of material that will support my professional plans. It’s a place to collect resumes, photos, documents, letters, licenses, or letters of recommendation.

If you keep all these documents in one place, you will be better able to find them when you need them. Staples doesn’t have an outrageous selection of colors for these notebooks. You won’t find mauve, tangerine, honeydew, watermelon, lobster bisque, cinderella pink, avocado, midnight indigo or cherry delight in the selection.

But if you want black, blue or white – you’re in luck!.

The support offered by the Baby Hugger offers immediate relief of my many pregnancy discomforts. Being able to machine wash is a HUGE plus. the velcro at the crotch is a big help for a pregnant women.

All of these straps allow you to get exactly the amount of support THAT I SO DESPERATELY NEEDED! I had a sizing question before ordering, and contacted customer support. It was easy to get in touch with the company, and customer support was very helpful and she was so friendly.

The Baby Hugger arrived so quick which was another plus! I was in a significant amount of pain at the time. I love this company. They made my day brighter!.

I ordered this under the direction of my physical therapist for diastasis recovery, but they changed the model apparently. The one I used in office was tan(like in the picture), and fit well over my longer torso.

The one I received from my order is white and seems shorter in width, which doesn’t cover my torso area as well. leading to front and back fat when worn. If it wasn’t for the difference in width, this would be a 5 star product.

Had I not needed to use it asap, I definitely would’ve returned it.

This is an definite improvement over the old standard basic rings. The rings have a slight slant which allows a higher capacity for their size. The one-touch system is easy to use, just press the tab down to open and press it back up to close.

The tab is over-sized with a rubber pad to cushion your fingers. The front, back, and spine have clear non-glare pockets so you can customize the binder for organizing or presentations. Another thoughtful touch is double pockets on the inside of the front and back covers.

This is great for business cards and other materials that would not be 3 hole punched. I only gave it 4 stars because I thought the covers could be a little heavier for “heavy duty”. Overall, it’s a well designed binder that will be very functional and easy to use.

My work requires parsing information into reference materials. I can use both sheet protectors and extra sturdy removable tabs with this binder and they are fully protected from wear and tear. Nothing sticks out.

I use my binders throughout the day and they have become as important as the information I keep inside them. And the latch is easy to open.

I LOVE this extra wide note book!!! FINALLY I can use my sheet protectors with the extra wide dividers and the dividers don’t extend out beyond the notebook. Thank you!!! This is the ONLY place I have ever seen these extra wide three ring binders.

I have many Avery 3-ring Heavy-Duty binders and am always pleased with the sturdiness and easy of use.

I received this binder 2 months ago and immediately began using it for classroom essential papers. As a teacher, I am always transporting binders between home and school. I like that the one touch rings are easy to open and close.

I just have to be careful not to pinch my fingers in between the closing rings! I also like the clear pocket on the outside that allows me to keep track of smaller essential papers that aren’t 3 hole punched.

Sometimes binders begin to rip at the edges and the plastic tears. This Avery heavy duty binder is not showing any signs of this occurring. This design is absolutely my favorite feature about the binder. No more are the days where you have to use two hands to force open the rings. The binder is 1″ and has plenty of room to hold papers. The exterior of the binder has front, back, and spine clear plastic sleeve covers.

I got the Avery heavy duty 1 inch binder a few days ago with the expectation that it was heavy duty and good quality. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear to be either. The binder’s appearance seems poorly made with plastic that appears to be less than heavy duty.

When I opened it up, two of the three binders wouldn’t close all the way. Not sure how the paper is supposed to stay in if the rings won’t close. I’m usually very satisfied with the Avery product line.

They are known for their quality office supplies. Not sure what happened in this case.

This product works just fine for archival storage of film negatives as well as related documents. The design is a bit passe, featuring compact discs and floppy disks as cover art, but the aesthetics do not matter.

The binder is large to fit oversized documents and does the job well.

This was part of my negative reorganization project. The print file pages fit well and it seems to be sturdy enough for my use.

Binder is big enough to put in 100 protectors and 2prints per protector of 8×10 (that’s what I’m using). The binder clips open by pulling the center clip apart no tabs on the outside or no pockets was not expecting those to be apart of the binder.

It does what I need it todo.

The metal three ring system is well made and allows for easy opening. I used the outside binder to insert a label. I would have liked to be able to insert a cover letter in front but it does not allow for that.

I have purchased these in the past and it seems the cover quality may have diminished a little. Also, having a sleeve that it can be inserted into and a nice set of dividers as an option I would have purchased if I would have seen them as an option.

I found it difficult to find this size binder at a reasonable price. Staples came through. I am going to use it re-house my sewing machine manual which fell path almost immediately. The pages are oversized.

Binder was correct size , order was received in timely manner. Binder was perfect for Abdominoplasty ,it helps reduce soreness, gives perfect support not only for your abdominal area but for you back as well.

Needed a binder long enough to present architectural drawings to clients. This binder fit the bill! Perfect size, durable and exactly what we needed.

I purchased these for a Chorale at our community. We haven’t had time to use them yet, but they are exactly what we have been looking for. Love that there are 2 big pockets & 2 smaller ones. Easy to open & good storage for music.

I’ve trusted Avery binders and products since I was little. While I’m a bigger fan of the D-ring binders for both capacity and turning ability, but the traditional round ring is still a great option for storage/archiving and lesser used items or reference material.

The clear plastic on the binder makes creating a front and spine label quick and easy. I will say, this one coming direct from Avery had the best packing I’ve seen for a single binder from anyone in years.

Normally it’s rattling around and all beat up if you don’t have 2 or at least something else. This one came with very minimal bending at the corners and otherwise clean and sturdy. If you need to do a lot of archiving or are looking for a project binder that won’t be used daily, this is a great option.

Also good for kids. I’d say this is nearly the same binder my Mom gave me for 4-H projects at eight years old.

I bought these to house my photo’s. I already head a ton, the photo album’s for which were destroyed in a fire. Thank heavens the photo’s survived (weird, huh?). Photo albums today are almost impossible to find, and at a good price, so these are a great replacement.

The heavy-duty construction, so far, has proven to be able to handle the weight of the photos. Won’t know for sure until time tells, but for now, they are excellent.

Everyone knows Avery makes top-of-the-line products and this is no exception. The binder its self is very durable and can stand up to the wear & tear that comes with holding this many papers. The seams of the binder are strong and don’t tear out with the heavy weight.

It has multiple internal pockets for sorting & storing papers (which I love). The D rings work really well for keeping everything in place and not allowing the papers to slide back up the ring and get crushed or caught in the binding.

They also hold up to repeatedly opening and closing without the bending or distorting that would cause them not to line up properly. This binder lasts a long time and holds up even under less than perfect conditions.
