20 Best Bikes For Tall Guys (2023 Updated)

I happened to come across this bike right before the pandemic hit and it was on sale so I couldn’t pass it up. The odometer says I’ve hit over 600 miles at this point and I haven’t had any major issues yet! I’m 6ft tall, 34′ inseam and it’s decent enough for my height.

I don’t do anything terribly extensive like standing up when cycling to avoid the possibility of breaking the pedals, but I do ride for about 30-45min at a time. Every so often there is a clunking noise in the wheel and I will try to backpedal it out- sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t & I just keep moving with my workout, I’m not sure what the cause is and it can be a little annoying but it doesn’t really affect my workout so I can’t really complain.

It does exactly what I need it to do and it folds up nicely and can be stored away when company comes over. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a cheaper option!.

I RECEIVED THE BIKE IN 3 DAYS HOWEVER, THE PLASTIC PEDAL HOUSING WAS CRACKED AND UNUSABLE. CUSTOMER SERVICE ACTED QUICKLY AND IN A WEEK I RECEIVED A REPLACEMENT OF THE MAIN PART. UNFORTUNATELY, THE PLASTIC HOUSING WAS CRACKED.

I DID SOME PATCHING OF THE CRACK AND THE ASSEMBLY WENT QUITE WELL. SO FAR THE PATCH WORKED AND THE BIKE IS WORKING WELL. I THINK THE MANUFACTURER NEEDS TO MAKE A STRONGER HOUSING. OVERALL, I LIKE THE FUNCTIONING OF THE PRODUCT, IT IS QUIET, EFFECTIVE AND EASY TO USE.

THE BACK SUPPORT ON RECUMBENT IS A BIT TOO LOW, SO I HAD TO PROP IT UP WITH A HARD PILLOW. I AM STILL GETTING USED TO THE BIKE SO IT IS TOO SOON TO GIVE IT 5 STAR RATING. IT THINK I WILL COME TO LIKE IT MORE AS I GET USED TO IT.

I love this bike the bike were a Christmas present from my kids along with hints and coupons laying around the house for them to get the hint they did. My son put the bike together in less than an hour and I been petaling every since.

The bike is very quiet which means I can ride it at 3:30 in the morning when I cannot sleep. Everything on the display works but I don’t keep up with it I just ride. I love the strength training on the bike I feel like I am at a gym working out.

I was looking for a bike that would hold someone over 250 lbs (not me) but my son and he loves it also. This one weight limit is 300 lbs and we have not had a problem with the bike. So, if you are debating on buying this bike grab it.

Also, I love the back rest which means I can ride longer. It is a great bike. I love mine.

I was very excited to receive this bike with its great features, and glowing reviews. Shipping was prompt, within few days of ordering and bike came almost fully assembled and well packaged, with mainly handle-bar and pedals to attach.

And that is where the excitement ended! The bike is having multiple issues from get go. There seem issues with alignment both with handle bar and pedal (right side). The bike also makes a friction sound and feel, as if the driving belt is rubbing against something or something is not aligned properly.

You can feel strong friction with an abrasive sound while pedaling. Specifically: 1. The right-side bike pedal nut does not go all the way snug leaving a gap. Left side is perfect. It makes right side feel wobbly when I bike.

2. Handlebar does not sit snug on the handlebar post. There is a big gap despite tightening the 2 provided screws as far as they can go. The handlebar is thus not stable and shakes and moves when biking.

3. The bike makes a noise when used. It is as if something is causing friction. I shared these inputs with detailed pictures and videos with Sunny customer service (seeing in some reviews that customer service seems responsive), however, despite few days gone by, I am yet to hear back from anyone from Sunny.

I am sharing this review to inform fellow fitness seekers who may be looking for a good spin bike, and how responsive Sunny is if you face issues, so that they can take an informed decision. Hope you find this helpful.

I will update this in case Sunny responds and is able to resolve my issues.

I wanted to love this bike, and I did, for three months, and now it’s a glorified paperweight and customer service hasn’t responded for more than a week. I did some comparison shopping for stationary bikes, as I was going to get knee surgery and wanted a non weightbearing, aerobic exercise option.

Ultimately, the sunny magnetic stationary bike seemed the best choice. Although the display is minimalistic, it is sufficient and less doo-dads usually means less hassle. The display still works great, but a week ago when I was pedaling a thumping sound began and it felt unstable.

I stopped, of course and figured out that the right pedal is banging against the encasing plastic. I tried jiggling it around, to no avail, it seems right. Unfortunately, I have difficulty crouching or kneeling, so I cannot investigate further or attempt to fix it.

(I 2as careful to follow assembly instructions regarding the pedals) I emailed Sunny a week ago (last week Monday, today is Tuesday and week later), providing the information they requested, as well as links to videos and have not heard back other than an automated email.

This is disappointing because I bought this brand from their online store, as I thought it was a reputable company (the amazon vendor is apparently also terrible at customer service). If I am contacted, I will update my review, although based on some other reviews, I’m not sure that will happen.

Really trying to make this bike work because it isn’t a bad bike when it is running, but it is just one problem after another. When I received it the fly wheel was cracked and a dented, and had vibration from bad bearings.

After a few rides, grease came out of the pedal bearing. Sunny sent replacement parts, and a credit for the damaged fly wheel since they did not have replacement fly wheels. I am fairly handy and have a lot of tools, so didn’t mind installing them myself, but be aware that you have to do the service yourself.

Then a few days later, a squeaking and clicking developed in the crank assembly. These issues have all developed within the first few weeks of using the bike. Sunny was prompt and courteous when I had the first set of problems, but has not responded on crank assembly issues.

Not sure if I just got a lemon, but I am getting close to replacing all of the wear parts within a few weeks of ownership. I didn’t return it after the initial issues because there really isn’t that much too these bikes, and I figured I could get it up and running, but starting to regret that decision.

The grip of the DHF is undisputed, so I’m not even going to address that here. If you’re ordering the 29 x 2. 5 dual compound tire, know that while the tire is foldable, the casing is the DH casing, which means it is HEAVY.

Two 60 TPI plies. That fact is not clear on EVO’s webpage at all, but that is not unique to EVO. I’ve seen other sellers doing the same. I have it mounted on a 29mm inner width rim and at it’s widest, it measures out as a 2.

5 from knob to knob. The carcass measures around 58mm at a normal riding pressure. You can get the carcass to measure 63mm by pumping it up to the max pressure of 50 psi. It might stretch out a bit if you leave it there for 48 hours.

Based on my (somewhat limited) experience with Maxxis, narrower than advertised is fairly typical for them. At any rate, being dual compound with a DH casing, this is a tire that I’ll be living with for quite a while.

One of the pros is that it is nearly indestructible, so I can feel free to slam into most anything. The DHF is one of those tires that comes in so many configurations that most anyone can find one that will put them in their happy place.

Just know what you’re ordering.

I’ve been riding Maxxis for several years, and I have a lot of experience with the Minion DHR and Minion DHR II. I felt like the DHR II was sucking the life out of my ride, and I didn’t like the weight of the Minions.

But I didn’t want to sacrifice downhill traction – especially up front. Then I discovered the Dissector. What a pleasant surprise!! The Dissector is about 8 ounces lighter than a Minion; that’s about 1 lb lighter for two tires.

Everything about the Dissector seems better without sacrificing traction in cornering. The first difference I noticed was how fast they roll compared to Minions. Combine that with a weight savings and I’m hooked.

Troy Brosnan designed the Dissector after the Minion DHF, but with a faster rolling center. It was originally sold as a rear downhill tire, but Troy Brosnan won a world cup running it on front and rear.

So do I. People gonna do what they gonna do, but remember that I said to try out the Dissector.

Want grip? Get this tire. Period. Now to be more specific, I run this as a front tire only on my enduro bike, especially in the SoCal summer when the trails are all blown out and loose. It works just as well in good conditions and in a park, but in those situations I prefer the DHF or even the Dissector up front.

The one thing with the Assegai is sometimes there is too much grip at every lean angle. Where the DHF has an open center channel that forces you to lean the bike over past that floating zone and hook up on the edge knobs, the Assegai never has that floating feeling.

It just grips at every lean angle. So if you get lazy, you can find yourself not leaning the bike over far enough to corner because you feel like you have grip everywhere. Then you have to slow down in the corner because you’re not leaned over far enough, where the DHF kind of forces you to lean it like you mean it.

As long as you’re on top of your game, you’re good. Or if you just want a tire that grips, no questions asked, to build your confidence, then get this! But I would never think of running it on the rear.

I decided to purchase this bike after an exhaustive searching and researching spin bikes. After a hiatus from fitness, I remember very well what a quality bike should look like. The 1805 met every checkbox I had and the price was great.

It’s sturdy, has all the functionality I wanted, and combined with an HR monitor, cadence monitor, and Peloton App I can get an exceptional cardio workout right from my own home! Another bike I considered where the L1 Spinner.

I wanted durable, low maintenance, and a no-frills experience. Something reminiscent of the various gym spin bikes of the past. This bike has met and exceeded all my expectations. A great investment in myself and with COVID, turned me onto a home gym option which I never had considered in the past.

I researched every bike out there and kept coming back to this one. Similar design to the Keiser with the light weight rear fly wheel without the hefty price tag. Great design and sturdy. My wife and I got setup with the Peloton app for $12.

99/mo and so happy we don’t have to go to the gym anymore. The only issue I’ve had is the performance monitor doesn’t always register (will not turn on) when the pedals start moving if we haven’t used the bike after a few hours or days.

I found that I have to remove the batteries from the performance monitor after we use the bike and put the batteries back in when we want to use it. So that is my only negative thing about the bike. I’m not sure if there is a solution for this issue.

I started looking into other wireless bluetooth cadence and speed monitors except some are quite pricey, nor do I know if it will work properly by attaching to the flywheel if the flywheel goes at a higher speed than a regular bike the data will be inaccurate.

All in all, I can deal with the performance monitor not working as the rest of the bike works fine. I even found some nice camera bracket on Amazon to attach my iPad to use with my Peloton app, etc.

I recently bought 2 SF-B1805 spinning bikes on Black Friday. I had read a lot of reviews and was a little afraid to order any bike after reading various problems that people have with any brand bike.

This Sunny Model seemed to have a good percentage of positive reviews and was mentioned in one or two top bike reviews for 2019 so I decided to place an order for two. I can say that the units I received were meticulously packaged to prevent damage as they arrived in pristine condition via Amazon.

Cartons weighed 137 lbs each and everything was included (tools) to assemble. Assembly time was about 40 minutes. Bikes are VERY solid and whisper quiet. This model is very comparable to a bike you would ride at a spinning class at a gym.

Resistance is more than adequate for all riders. Bike remains very stable with very little sway or side to side movement even when standing and “climbing”. rock solid. The seat is reasonably padded and comfortable.

Only shortcoming on the bike that I can see so far is that the seat slide design limits how far forward you can adjust and might be a problem for shorter riders around 5 feet or less height. Hoping that durability will be good with no problems for at least a year or two.

time will tell. I’d recommend for anyone considering a low to medium priced bike.

Bought my 500W 7 Speed Electric Beach Cruiser about a year ago. I like the concept of ease on the knees, and the electric bike for Northern Californian hills. It’s been fantastic. I ride nearly every day to work, and now that gas is about $400 a gallon, it’s been a HUGE savings for our family.

Battery lasts about a day’s worth longer if I ride on one speed setting less. So in all, I get about 12 miles per charge in these hills, which isn’t terrible. Battery is still running constantly after a year of nearly daily use.

The brakes are the hardest part for replacement/setting namely because the rear tire has the motor. The size of the motor makes adjusting brake tightness quite difficult. The other thing to consider is the overall weight distribution.

Most E-bikes have the battery more to the front/center, which makes the bike better balanced. I bought this one because the bike doesn’t LOOK like an e-bike, and makes it less likely for theft (worked so far).

However, it is quite heavy in the rear. But, with a cruiser mindset, it’s meant for flatter terrain like SoCal. I also took a Topeak Quick MTX track bag and mount and converted it to fit the pre-established rear cover.

Basically, I took off the wheel fastener’s from the metal bracket, leaving only the sliding top mount, and then zip tied the remaining flat piece to the pre-installed battery mount. It allows me to have paniers, a large carrier, and still appear to be a regular cruiser.

I have not yet had issue going up/down 4-5% grade hills, which was my only concern going into purchasing this bike.

LOVE LOVE LOVE This bike! So, I got the bike for Christmas and even though it wasn’t supposed to arrive till the 28th, my husband had it up and running for me Christmas day! Which means it’s pretty easy to assemble as well! Nothing like a treadmill.

And so far, 3 weeks in, it’s been great! I downloaded a bike app that helps me build up my strength and endurance, but most of all, I just wanted something to give me some exercise at home while the weather is nasty outside.

I sit on it and cycle while I connect with friends and family on the phone, binge my favorite shows or even visit with friends in person. It’s gentle on my knees, and I can feel my body molding so I know my clothes are going to fit eventually.

Wondering where it’s been all my life. Seat is pretty darn comfy and it gives me a workout even just on low resistance. It doesn’t take up a lot of space compared to my treadmill which is nice. Super happy with my purchase and the price! I mean I got a good deal 40% off but so worth every penny! Its sturdy and heavy duty frame is just right for my oversized body.

Love the design and quality. Well built. Quiet until. We just got the bike and on the 3rd day of using, a knocking noise could be heard about every rotation or about every 3 seconds. Very loud but I could not figure out where it was coming from exactly.

It is around the front of the bike near where the axel is. It doesn’t make the noise if pedaling backwards which I did just to test it out. I have model SF-B1877. I loosened the cover over the belt so I could peak inside.

This was all preassembled. I couldn’t remove it completely as that would of required removing the arm bracket for the pedal. I didn’t want to rip it apart and I was hoping I would see something with the belt out of place like a flap that was hitting each rotation.

The noise is very loud. Everything is in place. My only thought is that either the axel or something in the fly wheel is not right. I have seen other comments about this noise. Not sure what the fix is.

I ordered the bike off of amazon who is sending me a replacement and I will return the defective unit as they have arranged a pick-up. I hope the replacement works well.

I am an experienced spin class rider. I purchased another brand bike when the pandemic started which turned out to be horrible. In my second attempt, I purchased this Sunny belt bike and it is the bomb! It is sturdy, smooth, went together in a snap and is quiet as a whisper.

Honestly, it feels much like a sturdy gym bike. There are only two small things I take issue with, both of which have been mentioned in other reviews. 1) the computer is not backlit so difficult to see in a poorly lit room, and 2) there are no numbers on the tension dial which makes consistency a little more challenging.

Otherwise, I am thrilled with this bike and after so much research and review-reading, am confident I chose the right one. I’ve only had it a couple days and will update if anything goes wrong but I’m feeling pretty confident!.

11/08 Edit: I was thankfully able to get a third party to assemble my bike a little after I posted my original review. I appreciate Keiser’s response to my original comment and for their work in developing an option to make the process seamless and simple for those who wish to pursue a paid assembly option.

That said, I now wanted to offer a review of the product itself. I’ve been using my bike for a month now, and I absolutely love it. The frustrations of assembly are long forgotten and the bike has lived up to every expectation.

It is well made, aesthetically pleasing, compact, silent, and rides super smoothly. I trust that I will be able to use it for years to come and I’m very satisfied with my investment. I’m happy that I can have a studio quality experience at home.

— I wish I could actually review this bike based on use, but unfortunately I haven’t even made it that far because I can’t assemble it. I live by myself, and apparently I am not as strong as I thought I was because I can’t even get it out of the box.

Hauling this thing up to my apartment by myself was also a struggle. I’ve contacted two of the third party providers listed on Keiser’s site who are somewhat near my area, and unfortunately they are not the most responsive and I’m still waiting to hopefully schedule an assembly (please note, I am aware that Keiser is not responsible for the timeliness of third party assembly service providers and experiences will vary depending on where you live).

I have no doubt the bike itself will live up to expectations, and if the difficulty in actually moving this thing around is any indication the build is sturdy and will last for years to come. However–I am a customer that would have *happily* paid for a white glove delivery and assembly option for the reasons outlined above.

When I emailed customer service prior to purchase, I was told that this option is still in development. So I hope this review can sway the eventual decision in favor of Keiser directly offering a paid assembly option, because receiving it only to feel frustrated because I am unable to lug this 106 lb machine out of the box and put it together is kind of raining on my parade.

I think it is great that Keiser offers thorough instructions on assembly as well as the option to get the tools necessary to do it. I think it is important that consumers have a choice as to how to proceed with their purchase.

That said, I was willing to pay for assembly (something that I consider to be a reasonable expectation, though I do not know if this is an industry standard), and I think it would behoove both Keiser and future customers to at least offer that as an option in future.

I’ve used an indoor bike as part of my gym routine for years, mostly to warm up or cool down after my workouts. Most of my cardio came from treadmill work, due in part to habit but also because of knee issues when running outdoors.

With the pandemic and resultant months-long gym closures, I made the mistake of resorting to road running to get my cardio in, all at the cost of knee damage to the point of (now) not being able to run on a treadmill.

With the gym reopening, I elected to try an elliptical, but that seemed to bother my lower back. I guess it’s not for everyone. So, I decided to revisit or repurpose my time on the gym (non-Keiser) bike, which came me a great cardio workout, but just wasn’t very comfortable, and quite frankly, big and clunky.

So, with an eye to getting a bike that fit both me and my needs, I started my research, with the following as my “likes”: – I wanted workhorse, since I have no interest in buying to replace due to poor performance or quality – I wanted something completely adjustable so that I could get comfortable for the longer rides – I wanted a bike that I could use without plugging into an electrical outlet – I wanted a bike.

Not a bike tethered to a TV screen or subscription. Just a bike. – I wanted to buy from a company that stands behind their products, with a great warranty and superior support. So, given these criteria, I embarked on my research and landed on the Keiser M3i.

Referring to the above: – This bike is a workhorse. It’s in many gyms and homes. There’s a reason that this bike gets hours a day of use, day after day, in a cross-fit and gym environment. It is rock solid and doesn’t move, rattle, vibrate, or, well, anything.

No matter what I throw at it, it’s essentially silent and incredibly stable. The bike it built like a tank with mostly metal components, and high quality other materials. Nothing feels flimsy. With the magnetic resistance technology, there’s contactless moving parts except for the belt system.

Almost nothing on the equipment to wear out. – The bike is adjustable in both lateral and vertical directions for both the seat and the handlebars. The handlebar geometry has lots of options for hand and forearm positions.

Let’s face it – there are very few biker riders out there with the exact same physical proportions. I’ve found the perfect configuration for my needs. Highly configurable. – The unit is freestanding and just needs batteries for the monitor to power on, etc.

I don’t want to be tied to a wall outlet, or in need of power, to ride. I can roll this out onto my patio if needed. No limits. – As most of you probably have determined, this is an indoor bike, period.

No TV screens or subscriptions, no gimmicks and requirements to ride. There’s no big screen to fail in a couple years, or months. There’s a simple yet highly informative monitor, which can be connected via bluetooth to other apps.

Clearly, Keiser has invested their R&D dollars in the design and quality of the bike, and not other peripheral components. I can do all I need with the bike as-is, or I can add an app and whatever screen I would care to use, and still have what I consider to be the better or best bike out there.

I found it interesting that in my reviews of this bike versus others, the advantages of the M3i were bike centric, whereas the advantages of some of the competitors were interactive- and subscription access-centric.

– Keiser’s warranty is great, and their support (as noted below), is fantastic. Read other reviews (of customers and others) and you’ll quickly conclude that Keiser is a reliable and responsive company.

My experience: From the sale to the order and receipt of the product, Keiser was informative about the order details, status of shipment, preparation for assembly, and follow-up. My shipment came in a severely damaged box, thanks to the shipping carrier.

Keiser double-boxed the unit, so the internal box was in much better shape, but still damaged. In my case, the shipping company seemed to have dropped the box and snapped the wooden mounting base, which resulted in wood chips falling out of the box and into the various parts.

After assembly (which was easy with the Keiser tool kit and reference video/instructions), I noticed a rubbing sound on what was supposed to be an essentially silent drivetrain. I contacted customer support and they said they would work through my concerns to correct, up to and including replacement if necessary.

They described what to look for and sent me detailed pictures for visual reference. As it turns out, the rubbing sound came from pieces of wood from the shipping base, which had found their way into the crank housing.

Problem solved. So, after a few weeks with my M3i, I can say my only problem is trying to walk past it without wanting to jump on it for a ride. It is sleek, solid, silent, reliable, and will continue to help me with my fitness goals for the foreseeable future.

Fell in love with an earlier generation Keiser at Cooper Fitness Center in the early oughts. I was in grad school at the time and not in a position to purchase one for home use. Fast forward nearly 20 years, the loss of my ability to jog, two surgical procedures for my abused ankles, and a series of life choices which would leave any cardiologists agreeing I needed to lose weight- a lot of it- I began investigating an at home cycling bike.

I had purchased (a non Keiser) one years ago and within a year, it was curbside, because despite great reviews, it just never “fit” my body. I knew the Keiser did, but it really was still out of my budget at that time.

Since then there’s been the launch of many competing at home systems. At the advice of some colleagues, I tried the largest at home cycling competitor [P], but I hated the subtle wobble I noticed on it.

It seemed more like an ok bike with a proprietary “iPad” attached. I finally decided if I was willing to consider a major investment in my future, it was time to buy the brand I already knew fit my body dimensions (5’6” middle age female- now with a gut) and felt 100% solid.

The ability to move BOTH the seat and handle bars horizontally (in addition to vertically) is an immeasurable bonus for the female figure. The resistance lever is a breeze. The magnetic rear fly wheel is silent and perfect.

I adore this bike. I’m largely using apple fitness for my instructors. But am also trying said large brand competitor’s app for live and recorded sessions. A hot second online will find you a comparison scale of resistance for the Keiser to the competitor’s much larger resistance range; so it does “translate,” rather well.

I love this bike. I have had it for two weeks and have used it daily. I did start with only 20 min classes until my ample seat started to toughen up. But I am already up to 30 min classes and usually middle of the pack (burn bar stats for apple).

I use it daily because it *fits* my body and feels like an amazing, well built cycle, not just a brand selling an ok bike with proprietary goods attached. Bottom line: I’d encourage anyone to buy this bike.

From there, you pick the app that works for you. But you will not stick to your fitness plans if the bike doesn’t match your body of feels poorly made. The M3 is 10/10 amazing. (It took 45 min to EASILY construct by myself, with household feline and canine supervision.

I have been an avid mountain/trail biker for years. Unfortunately, a knee injury and ruptured disc require me to have another bike that allows me to sit upright, not with weight forward. I can’t ride hard right now, at least for a while.

So I selected the EVRYjourney 7-speed hybrid after looking at the various models and using the very helpful selection guide in which I chose a model with my physical dimensions to sit on the model I had selected to confirm it looked about right.

I like the styling, its a handsome bike. So, I ordered it on the company website and it was received in a reasonable time, given the pandemic. I had it assembled by the local bike shop so I could know it was done properly and I LOVE IT! I customized it a bit by not having the fenders, rack and chain guard installed, I don’t need those things in AZ.

I did have him install thorn proof tubes, tube liners and liquid sealant. The bike weighs only 32 pounds, less than my old mountain bike with special foam core tubes which added weight. The specialist at the bike shop helped me adjust the seat and handlebars to fit me, and ITS LIKE RIDING ON SILK.

All the parts are top quality. I’m impressed with the rims, derailleur, indexing shimano shifter (easy to use) and sewn leather handgrips. The gears shift smoothly and provide a good range of speeds.

I considered the 21-speed, but it was not in stock, but now after riding this, 7 gears will do for the riding I want, mostly for pleasure, therapy and moderate exercise. I am totally happy with my new bike and heartily recommend it without reservation.

(PS I indicated 5 stars on the instruction quality because the bike shop guy said they were good, and he said assembly was no problem for him).

When I was searching for a bike, I was looking for something that was both the style I wanted and functional. I looked at many bike companies and reviews, and I landed on sixthreezero. Best decision I have made in awhile.

I chose the option to have the bike shipped and put together for me for an extra couple hundred dollars which was such a great option. Once it got to the store, it was ready so quick. I loved this bike for the reviews and the fact the weight limit goes up to 300 pounds.

This bike is for large and in charge folks. The colors that sixthreezero offers are absolutely gorgeous. I wanted something that felt both vintage and modern, nd this was definitely the bike. They have something for everyone, and the details are so amazing on this bike.

I absolutely love riding this bike. It rides so smoothly. I opted in for the 7 speed to be able to change it up a bit. The bike sits in a very comfortable position for me (I am over 6 foot). The seat is comfortable.

The bike itself feels very nice, and you can tell they used great materials to build it. For an inexpensive bike, it feels fairly expensive. Would absolutely recommend this company to everyone!.

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a rack setup for the back of their truck! Super solid build! Super easy to install and it holds the bikes rock solid!! Definitely do not regret my decision to buy this product!.

It does the job and it can be found for half the price of some other options. There are two things I don’t like about the quality of this but aren’t deal breakers. 1) if the mounting width was a couple millimeters wider the fork would slip right on an stay in place allowing the skewer to slide through easily.

As it is I have line up the fork and hold it in place until the skewer fits through. In some mounting applications this would make things very difficult. 2) The base plate is warped upwards on the ends leaving the potential for a wobbly mount.

This probably happens in the welding process. If it was warped down on the ends it would mount much better. Neither one of these issues made this unusable and I will probably be buying another one. They are details to consider depending on your mounting situation.

Mine is just bolted to a 2’x1′ piece of plywood that sits in the back of my SUV.

So I needed a way to haul a couple of fat tire bikes in the pickup bed without them just being tossed in and bouncing around. I didn’t want roof or receiver mounted haulers, but until now nobody was making the right width rack.

Well, the wait is over. Kuat’s new Dirtbag Fat Tire Rack is just what you’ve been waiting for. Solid steel construction, nice flat black paint job and what looks to be fine welding, all makes for a perfect and versatile mount for that fat fork of yours.

I mounted two on the front of the pickup bed ledge(right behind the window) evenly spaced and with enough room left in the middle for the beer cooler and firewood. For the price, you can’t go wrong. The mounting holes are 1/4″ and if you invest in some stainless bolts, nuts & washers, these mounts will serve you for years.

Purchase an additional 135mm QR 9mm Skewer to leave in the mount and you’ll look like a Pro at your next group ride. Measurements of the bracket are 5 1/2″ wide X 1 7/8″ tall.

I bought this 6 months ago to replace an older chain-driven exercise bike which had broken after many, many years of use between several owners. I’ve used it daily since then. For the price, I think this bike is a fantastic value.

As others have said, the position of the pedals is further forward than with a traditional bike; standing while riding it will be out of the question. Because the resistance mechanism is magnetic this bike is extremely quiet and you can very easily watch TV, listen to music, etc.

It also provides plenty of resistance, riding on setting 3 or 4 for a while gives me enough of a workout. There’s a big resistance jump from setting 2 to 3 though, so if you’d prefer something between those two you’re out of luck.

I’m about 5’10’ tall and have no issues with this bike, but if you’re significantly taller you might have issues (your knees may bump against the handlebars). If the bike is something you’d use only once in a while, it folds away nicely for easy storage and can be wheeled around (although it’s unwieldy, it’s not heavy).

I tend to ride about 15-20 minutes at a time and the seat has given me no problems. Be aware that I’ve repeatedly read that it’s a non-standard seat size so you may not be able to swap it out. Assembly wasn’t too bad, but to remove some of the stickers on the pedals you’ll need to use a product like Goo-Gone because they’re not really meant to come off.

I don’t use the pedal straps but they feel a bit cheap and seem to be a common point of failure from reviews I’ve read, so if having straps is important to you that may be a deal-breaker. The other thing on the bike I’d say could definitely be improved is the computer console.

The calorie reading seems extremely unreliable (it seems to be the same regardless of resistance setting) and the console itself feels cheap and hollow (because it is). The other functions work fine.

The numbers on the console are big and easy to read, though the unit is not backlit. – This bike doesn’t plug in. The computer is battery-powered (2 AAA). The bad – Cheap-feeling computer console – Not for extremely tall users (5’10” and under is definitely fine) The ugly – Cheap pedal straps; don’t buy this if you care about them – Calorie counter seems inaccurate.

This exercise bike is in every way perfect to get enjoyable workouts. It is compact by just removing a pin and pushing it into the 2nd hole so that nothing flops around when you move it on the wheels on the front.

The wheels don’t touch the ground until you tilt the bike so it is steady when you are riding it with all 4 round rubber pads on the ground. The quiet noise level when working out is the most enjoyable experience as I can watch movies (old Maverick cowboy movies) with the sound not turned up.

The peddling motion is really smooth and the readings are easy to read and I can keep my pulse rate right where I want it to be. It takes up very little space when stored up right and is easily moved and fairly light.

It takes a 270 lbs man riding easily with no problem. The cost was lower than expected for this quality of a bike. The seat is adjustable for 5′ 1″ to 5′ 7″ or 5′ 7″ to 6′ 2″. My son in law is 6′ 2″ at 270 lbs and it works perfect for him.

However, this adjustment is not quick as you have to unscrew 3 screws. The work load is also very easy to change with small incremental increases while you are peddling.

We had been eyeing to replace our 20 year old exercise bike since March 2020 and when this bike went on sale we jumped to make the purchase right away. In summary, we should have bought this back in March as this bike is a big upgrade from our old one which was so noisy.

This bike was very straightforward to assemble–there are Youtube videos that you can watch that was quite helpful for the assembly process. The electronic display on the bike is very easy to read and the heart beat pulse sensor was very close to my finger heart pulse reader i have.

We leave the bike resistance on level 6 and we have over 400 miles of use (based on the odometer reading) and for the price i don’t think there is any other exercise bike on the market that can match this (and we did over 3 hours of research on other possible bikes).

Can’t believe how little noise this bike makes–what a difference 20 years can make in technology!.

I love everything about this bike. I’ve been wanting one for a while now but didn’t want to pay an arm and leg for one lol so glad I kept researching for one that is cheaper than peloton, but with the same functions.

I burn about 300 – 450 calories in one 30 minute session, so I definitely enjoy the results. I’m 6’3, so I have to adjust the bike to as high as it goes and mid-height for my wife. The seat is stable no matter what height I set it.

I did not need to buy expensive cycling shoes to keep my feet on these pedals. The front wheel is heavy and the resistance can easily be adjusted. Above all the most brilliant thing about the bike is that I am getting a decent cardio workout at literally half of the cost of a Peloton Bike! LOL.

After checking out reviews and product specs on different exercise bikes on the market, I made the decision to go with the Lit Bike because of their reputation and price. I average about 6 to 8 hours of spinning per week, I have no complaints.

The service was excellent from order to front door. Assembly took less than one hour using the tools and instructions provided. The quality of the parts is solid and when assembled looks the part. The saddle is well padded and the HD monitor is very touch sensitive, which is a plus.

The magnetic resistance magnet system and the large stable flywheel allows for very quiet use. I would recommend the freebeat xbike to anyone with a $900 budget.

Two weeks in and 150 miles. I’ve never ridden a bike so much. So easy to ride. I have modified a couple of things like the seat (which is not for commuting) and seat post just to make the 20 Mike commute each day a bit more pleasurable.

Highly recommend this bike to get you riding again. You will love it.

Quality bike with quality electronics , Rode for first time put 20 miles offroad and still has 35 power left, nice ! Brakes stop on a dime. Suspension is good as long as you check pressures , bike did not come w shock pump.

Yamaha motor is quieter than I expected ,barely noticeable. I would recommend this Haibike. I have been riding bikes off-road for 30+ years , and after a knee and back surgery, I need to b a little easier on my body so the electric bike allows me to ride like I used to and I don’t beat myself up as much and feel great after riding.

At a time when it’s nearly impossible to find any bike in your size, Mike’s had just what I wanted. As a 60-year-old, the geometry on my Cannondale EVO has been exacerbating my lower back issues for a couple of years now.

The Synapse, with it’s more relaxed geometry is just what I needed. I have been on a couple of longish rides with it and have had no significant back pain! Not only that, but I’m not slower. It’s a really capable road bike and I suspect would do great on unpaved roads as well.

Also, I didn’t know if I was gonna love the built in SmartSense lights/radar, but I do! Absolutely great if you’re trying to get the most out of your post-work ride as the sun goes down. As far as Mike’s Bikes.

they could not have made the experience easier. I called a couple of times, once pre-purchase to determine if this was the right bike for me and once because it appeared UPS had misplaced the bike. Andrew from Mike’s Bikes assured me that they would stand behind my purchase and get another bike right out to me if this one was lost.

Turns out it showed up a day late with no tracking. Anyway, bottom line. Fantastic bike so far and Mike’s was awesome, from pre-purchase advise to post-sale service.

I’ve been waiting for this version of the synapse for a while having owned the 2015 model. Definitely worth the wait. The bike feels alot smoother over the rough roads, responsive when pushing down on the pedals.

The bike has all the same characteristics when descending as my previous synpase and has a confident feel which I like. Its my first time using a disc groupset, the tiagra groupset is impressive, with slick gear changes and confident braking.

I upgraded the wheels to the 50mm Vel+ and continental 5000 tyres which are amazing, with no flex at all. The tyres are 28mm but there is clearance for much bigger tyres if anyone want to go off the road for a bit of light gravel.

I can highly recommend this product.

After getting back on my old Synapse 105 Alloy you can tell the difference ! Why was I sceptical , because the price gap between the alloy/carbon – 105/Ultegra is not small. Synapse is my go to model and I am not disappointed with the Carbon Utlegra, same ride as the alloy105 but a little softer.

The only moan would be the stock tyres but then who doesn’t switch those out first thing when getting a new pony. Fulcrums compare well to my old Aksium’s. Caution though the hydraulics discs brakes stop on a sixpence and I confess to seeing my back wheel at 90 degrees when being a little over enthusiastic on my first ride.

Well rounded bike , not a single thing to moan about and for me the first bike where I haven’t considered upgrading anything except the saddle from day one. Sigma , never been anywhere with such professionalism and interest in someone else needs a cyclist and not wanting to sell you their own vision/preference.

Very happy all round and Sigma even threw in a different skewer in case I wanted to switch wheels 🙂 Finally , the colour Saber Orange seems to be unique (for the moment) and definitely standouts from the usual blacks and reds !.
