I researched the SixThreeZero brand (and a select few others that carried hybrid bikes) for quite some time before deciding on an EvryJourney Casual men’s model. My decision was based largely on their unmatched lifetime warranty, test run, and return policies.
I’m a 5’2″ female and I took the risk of going with the men’s model because it was the only Evry Journey bike they had readily available in black. Luckily, the bike was a perfect fit. I can safely and comfortably put my feet on the ground (although a bit tip toeing) with the seat post at its absolute lowest setting.
I can also comfortably reach the handlebars (which are straight, not beach cruiser style, which I prefer). Despite not having a step-thru frame, it is easy for me to get on and off the bike. This bike is lightweight, rides smoothly, brakes smoothly and the saddle is incredibly comfortable.
I just wish the “casual” and women’s models came in more vibrant colors (or just plain black) as opposed to so many ugly pastel colors with ugly brown grips and saddles. The amount of time and effort put into assembling the bike was minimal (for someone who knows what they are doing).
Compared to other brand hybrid bikes, the EvryJourney Casual is reasonably priced (the original model, not so much, based on my research). Delivery was timely and customer services was good. The only real problem I have with the bike (and this is only because I got a men’s model) is that because I need the seat to be at its lowest height setting, there is no room for a trailer hitch to be attached to the seat post so that I can lug my kids around.
Aside from that, this is an absolutely wonderful bike!.
I was searching for a bike for commuting, I’m not a cyclist and don’t want the kinds of features that you’d find for sport. I want something that is comfortable to ride and has good posture so I can get from point A to point B with as little hassle as possible.

We ordered two sixthreezero “Around the Block” cruisers (24” and a 26”, 3-speeds) to keep at our parents’ house in sunny Florida. The bikes look very sharp in navy and matte black. Even though they showed as PreOrder when we placed the order on their website, they shipped quick and showed up in just 7-8 days! Assembly was largely problem-free with one exception: the corner of one of the boxes had a small hole in it which allowed the bolt for the seat clamp to escape.
Since time was of the essence, we just picked up a new bolt from the hardware store. (The “tool” they provide in the box suffices, but just barely really. I’d recommend pulling out some real tools — hex keys, crescent wrench, ideally pedal wrench — if you have them.
) Having 3-speeds is really nice for the occasional small hill (or wind in our face) or when a bit of extra speed is wanted. We didn’t install the racks right away, but probably will in the future. The ride is *very* smooth and cushiony.

I purchased an Around the Block, 7-speed bike for my wife. I have to say that it was a great choice for her. I wasn’t scared of the fact that you have to assemble the bike but was dreading the process.
I have to say that the entire assembly procedure was easy. Much of the bike is preassembled. The accompanying assembly booklet is well organized and instructions are very clear on what to do and pointing out the pitfalls to watch out for with certain steps.
But I found the online assembly video most helpful, being able to listen to and see the step as it was being done. Being able to stop the video and complete the step was very helpful. All in all, assembly was a piece of cake! Quality: first rate construction.
Comfort: my wife loves the bike and how it feels. Color choices: very cool! It’s very comfortable on long rides. The 7 speeds come in handy for hills. Shifting is a breeze, very smooth and quick. I would highly recommend this company for any of its products!.

This is a pretty good bike for the most part. It is really for a casual bike rider not so much a long distance rider. It’s a bit heavy for long distance but seems to be pretty good quality with the exception of the tires.
I think we’ll probably replace them with some good quality ones since my husband does ride quite a bit. He generally rides somewhat long distances (more than 10-15 miles) but because he’s risen professionally, he can handle the weight at least semi regularly.
I have riden this bike 6-7 times, going short distances and have had an issue on every trip. changing gears is not a smooth process due to constantly popping in the chain and loud noise. adjusting the gears throughout the ride for different slopes is difficult, and certain combinations of gears are not possible to do.
The chain dislodges, and pops continuously, especially during uphill climbs. The gear in the back tire came cracked along the ridges. I have yet to reach the vendor after making several calls, emails, and warranty work requests.
The vendor does not answer the phones. The brakes barely stops the bicycle even at low speeds which is very dangerous. There has been several trips I’ve had to walk it back home because of issues with the bike.
It’s fast it’s amazing, love the change in the gears. It’s like a mountain bike, I use it to go hiking. Rt now I’m using it every morning it’s amazing love it.

Beautiful bike, no question. Due to its spine friendly geometry it rides very sweet-tempered in comparism to a race bike. They call it a fitness bike, I call it a very VERY fast commuter bike and that’s what I wanted to have.
For fun and fitness I still prefer my race bike. Of course the Roadlite 7 cannot replace a race bike (although that’s suggested by some reviews) but if you want to kill E-bikes on your way to the office it’s a perfect choice.
Even with a kid’s trailer. 🙂 Cost/performance ratio is also very decent. Drawbacks: 1. the pedals are a joke. Who the f. would mount the crappiest 5€ plastic pedals that I have ever seen on a bike for 1500 bugs? @Canyon: pls remove them from the bundle and ship the bike without pedals like a road bike.
To avoid unnecessary trash and for the sake of our environment. 2. The saddle is a nightmare. My wife rides a 3-4 years old Roadlite AL (whatever number) with Ultegra and at that time she got a high quality and very comfy Canyon branded saddle (looks like a Selle Royale).
The new Canyon Sports saddle feels like a wooden board coated with plastic foil. And it has sharp edges at the nose. That’s why it lies in the bin next to the pedals. 3. Obviously Canyon doesn’t have one single employee who is able to adjust a Shimano front derailleur.
This has to be done by the customer. Out of the box, before the first ride. It was exactly the same for my wife’s Roadlite. It takes 1 minute and a 2mm Allen key but maybe its a test if one is worth to ride this bike 🙂 That’s what the one star for ease of assembly refers to.
The rest of the assembly is a piece of cake. All in all the Roadlite is an absolutely great bike. I love it, I would buy it again without hesitation, and I can recommend it to everyone who has just a little bit of experience in tinkering with bikes.
But that the latter point may be true for all mail-order bikes.
There’s a lot to like about the Roadlite 6. It’s fast and lightweight, looks pretty sleek, and you’re getting a 105 for a decent price. I commute to work and also try to exercise daily with rides anywhere from 5-20 miles.
This bike really works for my purposes and I think it was worth the price. However, if you’re unable to confidently work on your bike then you need to take it to a shop immediately. The gears weren’t indexed properly (it wasn’t even close) and I also felt it was necessary to remove a link from the chain.
This took 10 minutes but I don’t assume the majority of people will know to do this. Aside from that, the pedals and seat are useless. I didn’t even try to sit on the seat, I just immediately upgraded both.
The grips are okay, but they’re way too soft for me and I knew exactly what grips I wanted on the bike anyway. Tune the bike up, upgrade the grips/seat/pedals, and you’re ready to go.
Bike is beautiful, Quality is very high. It is premium class of bicycle. Best ratio price/quality. I can reccomend drive SRAM APEX 1×11- it really works and numbers of gears is enought also for reaching mountain and fast ride on flat.
Only one disc in front – low weight and easy cleaning, also one lever less on cocpit. Position on bike it is quite sporty and agressive, but it is still comfortable for back. I use this bike for everyday riding to/from work in the city where elevation differences is almost 140 m.
Previously I had cross type bike with heavy damper and drive 3×7. It is approx. 3-4 kg heavier thas this one. I can also tell that damper in front is useless. BIke with carbon fork like my raodlite is much better option.
Much less weight and really there is not huge differences with absorbing on uneven roads.

This bicycle has resurrected the enjoyment of cycling I used to feel. I always liked working hard and ageing did not affect the fun of the effort. Then I contracted Peripheral Neuropathy and my leg-power diminished dramatically.
Memories of completing the Paris-Brest-Paris, an Alps tour and a dozen ascents of Ventoux were of no help as hills I used to enjoy now became things to dread. Cycling had lost its allure. Perhaps an electric bike could help? After over a year of studying power-systems and physical dimensions of many potential candidates, I ordered an XL sized Topstone from Sigma Sports.
It arrived most thoughtfully packed and was easily assembled. It looked great! I’m 6 foot 3″ and although the height was fine I felt it a little short. A 130mm stem was substituted for the supplied 100mm one and all was then well.
I’m very pleased with the response of the Mahle X35 rear-hub motor. (Pleased too, as a motorcyclist that Mahle are a revered performance piston manufacturer!). I find it is possible to have a good work-out effort with this machine in the knowledge that the top-setting will always haul you over the steepest of hills – should you choose to select that.
So – the essence of the Topstone Neo SL1 is you can choose the effort level you feel capable of on the day – and on the hill! Overall build-quality is excellent it’s not over-heavy and it being a “gravel” bike has already led to enjoyable excursions on paths and tracks I would never have previously considered tackling.
