20 Best Big Wheels For Adults

The Meridian is great for adults that enjoy the outdoors. The bikes 26-inch wheels is suitable for riders 64 to 74 inches tall Bike has front V-brake and rear band brake provides versatile stopping power.
super low step-through aluminum frame and three wheel design provides added stability Adjustable springer cruiser seat softens the ride Accessories include a convenient rear basket for cargo classic that holds up to 44 lbs and swept-back handlebars that offer a comfortable upright riding position for relaxing rides.
I bought the bike for my daughter. She has issues with balance, coordination, and low muscle tone. It came earlier than expected! It was well packaged. Im glad I had it delivered to my house as it was very heavy.
I paid for the assembly-which Walmart hired someone from Handy. Joevany was great. It did take a bit over an hour to assemble. Mostly because one of the attachments to the fender was wrong. It wasnt flat and didnt have a hole drilled into it.
Joevany drilled a hole in it for me and attached it to the other side. Otherwise to get the correct part the whole bike would have had to be disassembled and sent back. There was a couple small scratches on the frame, but.
Like I said it wasnt worth sending it back. It fits my daughter perfectly, I got the 24, and its great to see her riding it.
Adult-sized scooter provides a fun way to ride Durable steel frame is great for neighborhood rides. Front and rear alloy linear pull brakes deliver precise stopping power. Front and rear fenders help protect you from grit and splashes.
Alloy rims offer lightweight strength. 26 inch front wheel and 20 inch rear wheel provide a smooth ride.
This is a large scooter suitable for adults. It’s very well made and built to last. The super sized front wheel and large rear wheel make it safe to ride on any surface no matter how bumpy. Having pull brakes on the handle bars is so much safer and more precise than the foot brakes on small wheeled scooters.
Sort of a novelty item, sure, but the smiles I see when people use it are really great. The item came mostly pre-assembled. Only had to attach the front brakes (1 bolt) and then add the front wheel (easy), and finally, optionally, adjust the brakes a bit.
If you know anything about urban mushing you know you’ll need an extra scooter because you will crash and now that “diggler” is out of business, you will need an extra ride. I highly suggest changing out the handle bars, grips and ends to mountain bike types for better control.

This cruiser maintains a low center of gravity, thus making it especially stable and safe for the whole family. The comfortable recumbent seating position means minimal pressure on your back, wrists, elbows or hands.
Perfect for riding at the beach, achieving a brisk work out and for leisure rides. What a great way to stay fit while having fun!.
AM I HAVING FUN OR WHAT?! If this little buggy falls completely to bits today I would still have gotten my whole money’s worth!! I’m pretty sure I’m directly responsible for a large portion of new sales in my area because I’m out and about on it every chance I get and LOTS of folks want to know where I got it every time.
It is beyond comfy on your entire human frame, (I did mod it up with a crazy kitchen chair cushion since the sturdy seat needs a bit of, well, cushioning. ) I can peddle around, using my natural core strength (hips and legs, braced against seat back) all reclined and nearly effortless, it just doesn’t get much better than that! I added all kinds of cool junk (phone and cup holder, bell, lights, bike lock, etc.
) and have plans for a trailer to haul small beings and greater loads than my strapped-on backpack. I load it in the truck easily (small oldish woman) and yet it’s plenty weighty feeling. It’s zippy and works on the side of the sidewalk as well as on the sidewalk.
Yesterday I maneuvered through a crowded festival taking up no more space than a mother and stroller, then I bought a big fat lobster roll and a frozen mochaccino, and ate it with my feet kicked up on the front wheel, watching mortals walk and stand.
This was the best bike I had ever purchased and easy to ride, control and who cares it didn’t have any gears. You really got a workout. I really enjoyed my Mobo Pro for a long time. 8years, until I could not get off the seat, because of knee issues.
The seat height is only 12. 5″ off the ground and I was having a hard time getting in and off the bike. I’d purchase another bike if the seat was higher by at least 4-8″. Which would make it easier for seniors w/ knee issues to use.
In 2020 I was told that Mobo was looking into make a seat higher. I don’t know if it was done, I wish it was. I did recommend this to a friend and she purchased one.
My daughter that has special needs absolutely loves her Triton Pro!! So much so that she doesn’t want anyone else riding it. Lol. It has given her more independence and freedom than she’s ever had. She could never go for bike rides with us on a regular bike and she’s gotten to big to pull in a trailer.
I do wish it had a couple of gears and was a little heavier in the front but otherwise absolutely wonderful!! Thank you!!.
The open and aggressive tread design gives the high roller ii excellent soil penetration and mud clearing ability. A square profile provides a solid, consistent feel across the knobs. Modified knobs on the shoulder and center improve braking performance and traction on hard surfaces.
When gravity pulls you downhill, rely on the high roller ii to keep you upright. Exo protection is an extremely cut resistant and abrasion resistant material added to the sidewalls item specificationscolorblackweight910tire beadfoldingiso diameter622 / road / 29in iso width58labeled size29 x 2.
I’ve been running this tire in the Pacific Northwet (the s is silent) for about half a decade. I’ve yet to find a rear tire I like better. It is a great compromise of grip to rolling resistance, and clears mud well.
Exo has been fine for me, without a single issue, riding all over the PNW. Probably ought to knock on wood after that last sentence. I’ve ran both minions (dhr, dhf), assegai, most of the wtb lineup (vigilante, judge, verdict, verdict wet), and my favorite combo is still verdit/verdict wet front and hr2 rear.
The minions did well pointed down, but lacked the climbing traction the hr2 has. The vigilante and judge are both skittish on roots and the verdicts are bit aggressive for putting on both ends.
I’m so glad that Maxxis still sells a true 27. 5×3. 0” aggressive trail tire. I’ve been riding 29ers and 29+ for more than a decade and never had an interest in 27. 5” wheels. until now. I’ve built up an aggressive hardtail as a mullet bike (29+ upfront and this 27.
5×3. 0” High Roller 2 out back). I’ve tried several different rear tires over the years but for the desert chunk I always come back to the DHF or DHR2 as those have provided the best combination of grip and longevity.
The HR2 definitely provides the grip. If the longevity is also there and can hold up to the desert chunk then it deserves a 5 star rating.
As a rider who enjoys the downs more than the ups (considerably more), the original Maxxis High Roller was a favorite rear tire of mine, even living in the arid clime of Colorado. When they updated it to the High Roller II, I likewise updated my setup because I was so enamored with the tire.
Faster rolling than a DHR II, but retaining many of that tire’s braking and cornering characteristics, the High Roller II sports Maxxis burly side walls which are a must in the rock filled, tire eating trails of Colorado.
It has a slightly wider gap between the center knobs and the cornering knobs than some other tires we offer, which gives it a bit of a different feel. A drift point becomes noticeable part of the way through a lean, which allows you to aggressively slap the tire into a berm, where it hooks up and propels you out the back of the turn.
This is a disconcerting sensation at first, and if a “loose” feel is not something that appeals to you at all I would look for a different tire. This tire runs the gamut of conditions, from the rocky, hard pack of CO to the wetter conditions in my current home of the PNW.
It is a great all around tire for those of you who like to get rowdy, and features Maxxis’ hardy construction. It isn’t the lightest tire out there (none of Maxxis’ tires are) but as it’s name suggests it rolls well for how aggressive it is.
The 3C tread is always a solid choice, quite durable, and will still grip when things get slippery. As a long time favorite, it is definitely worth a try.

Fins up for three-wheel fun! The Margaritaville trike is the party vehicle disguised as great transportation. Comfort is the name of the game, because the aluminum frame absorbs road shock and the big 26-inch wheels roll over any bump in the road.
The low step-through frame provides easy on and off and the springer style comfort saddle and swept-back handlebars keep the rider upright and feeling good. This trike features seven speeds, easy-twist shifters and front and rear handbrakes to tame the uphills and control the downhills.
If that wasn’t enough, a huge rear carrier, front wire mesh basket, frame-mounted bottle opener and stylish parrot horn are all included in this ultimate bar crawl trike.
A good value. Purchased for my 70ish wife and she is thoroughly enjoying it. I do not know bike sizing well, but I think, although the 26″ indicator may be technically correct, the ergonomics of the rear fork, seat position and seat heights may functionally result in a smaller size.
This results in pedaling in an awkward position for the knees. However my wife will be a recreational/exercise rider and being able to touch the ground easier is more important than correct leg position.
The bike was assembled by our local Walmart and they did an excellent job. Some dents on the rear fender I think occurred while shipping the part because there were no scratches, just the well painted dents.
All in all we are very happy with the Margaritaville. The proof is that so fat my wife has not missed a day of her schedule ridings. Thanks Walmart.

Those are so much fun! We added the Sullivan Drift Trikes to our already long list of wheels toys and it has become a favorite for my 5 y. o. son! Bombing the hill down the park or drifting on the basketball court, it’s all fun!.
and good exercise for papa to bring it up hill. Like with the 16′ Sullivan bike, we went with the Neo model, so they all match and look really good. Obviously, it does take space on the bike racks, but way worth the fun.
Now, dad needs one too! Only issue. sharing with the neighborhood kids! As everyone wants a ride.
I was really impressed when I opened the box and assembled the trike. A Christmas present for my 7 year old grandson. He is obsessed with it and we can’t keep him off it, very robust easy to assemble and my grandson got to grips with how to ride it and drift so quickly.
I purchased two of these for my grandsons. They arrived exactly as planned with great customer service helping me track them. My son said the assembly was easy and he was so impressed with the bike quality.
The boys age 5 and 7 love them. My son said they will last them many years.

The Big Apple is available in Black with a reflective sidewall stripe. 30-55 recommended PSI. 26 x 2. 35 Inch 60-559 ISO. 898 grams. Max load. 145lbs.
I was so happy to get these tires and riding around town they are great. Very comfortable, fast and added at least 10% to my bikes range. I had total confidence in them until one day I had to ride on gravel for a short distance, it was like riding on ball bearings.
As I get further from town it only gets worse, I am not trying to ride trails or even casual off road but these tires are dangerous on gravel or any loose surfaces as such they can’t remain on my bike.
I am disappointed the expert at Scooteretti didn’t mention this.
I bought these to stick them on an MTB that just goes on road trips now, really nice to ride with great cornering performance too. Plus they look good. Really happy with Tredz too, really easy to order and came a few days later in a full sized box, not with the tyres all folded over on themselves.
These are easy to love – they’re smooth, look good, feel good with the ride quality, and they have good puncture resistance. I only use MUP’s and occasionally i pull a trailer (i can’t carry anything on this tiny thing).
My trailer’s cheap tyres pick up punctures (usually thorns), these Schwalbe Big Apples on the bike never do. So the comparison there is quite absolute. My only criticism isn’t really a criticism but worth noting – they don’t inspire great confidence in greasy conditions.
In the dry they grip very, well but again, there’s that uncertainty in knowing how well they’re going to do, compared to a thinner, harder tyre. When things get slippery though, they’re very on/off, you can’t get away with sliding them about in corners like a traditional shopper tyre.
When big climbs lead to long, challenging descents, you’ll be glad your bike is kitted out with the Industry Nine Enduro 305’s. Strength and reliability are first and foremost with these top-level aluminum wheels, but I9 keeps the weight reasonable so you aren’t held back on climbs and sprints.
The V3 rims feature a lower profile than previous generations, which leads to a more compliant ride without sacrificing strength. Oversize straight-pull aluminum spokes are laced to I9’s flagship Hydra hub with a staggering 690 engagement points, meaning there’s no lag when it’s time to put the power down.
I upgraded to this wheelset after a year and a half and 4,000 miles on my dt swiss xm 1650 wheels. Those had the 36t ratchet in the 350 hub and for the most part were trouble free. However over the last year I had cased a number of jumps and put some nice flat spots in the rear wheel.
I decided to grab a pair of carbon wheels and Jenson had a 20% off sale which made the decision a bit easier. These wheels are fantastic so far in every way. The Hydra hub is a huge upgrade in terms of engagement, going from about 10 to.
52 degrees. I wasn’t sure if I would appreciate the fastest engagement but wow, it is noticable and awesome. These also droppers about 200 grams which was a nice bonus. Thus far they have handled the abuse of casing a few big jumps without issue and the i9 lifetime warranty is nice for peace of mind.
These are Reynolds rims, rather than the WAO on their nicer wheelsets, but Reynolds obviously makes great wheels too. Overall I’m very happy with the upgrade and hope these are going strong after another 4,000 miles.
Didn?t realize Industry Nine was a top tier wheelset brand, in particular the Hydra hubs, until I read articles, watched YouTube reviews, and received compliments from others. I was a bit concerned about rolling resistance of the freehub body, but that was an issue with the previous model, the Torch.
There seemed to be some rolling resistance when spinning the wheel on my bike stand, but hard to tell on the trail. By the 3rd ride of about 10 miles each, I noticed a difference in freehub resistance.
It definitely seemed to coast much longer on the bike stand, but I could notice the difference on the trail. They just seemed to roll real nice compared to the stock DT Swiss XM 1900 wheels I had previously.
I noticed right away the handling. My previous wheelset had a 30mm internal rim width, which is great if you?re pointing the wheel south to do some gnarly terrain with big drops, but for XC and trail terrain, the 27mm inner rim width of the I9, is more responsive and easier to control through technical terrain and switch backs.
Setting up the wheelset to tubeless was the easiest setup I?ve ever done. It was so easy that I didn?t have to use soapy water or remove the valve core to blast it with air from my compressor. I mounted the tires and used my floor pump, that was it.
After four rides the tire pressure held with no leaks without using sealant. Ah the engagement. didn?t know this was a hot topic with aftermarket wheels until I read the reviews and found the I9 Hydra is the gold standard when it comes to the most efficient engagement.
I didn?t realize how bad my DT Swiss stock wheels were until I mounted these I9?s on my bike and actually went on the trail. It?s like comparing a 720 to 4K TV high definition. The 720 is ok because you don?t know any better, but once you get that 4K, nothing else compares.
The Hydra?s engagement is instantaneous, I mean there is no noticeable play in the engagement from the moment you mash down on the pedals to when the rear wheel puts power to the ground. The I9 Hydra?s buzzing is adjustable by either applying a specific brand of thicker grease to the pawls to make them more quiet, or oil to make them more audible.
I prefer the stock grease with a subtle buzzing that is very distinctive. If you?re like me and think the sound will annoy you, it doesn?t at all and it sounds quite cool and unique. Looks, they are absolutely cool looking wheels and the rims are equally impressive.
The rims have a pattern what appears to be lasered on the surface that is unique to I9, and the laser etching on the hubs surface is precise and pops with the black anodized finish of the hub shells.
So far I have been impressed with these wheels after only four rides and hope they continue to impress as I rack on more miles Cheers!.
Went from a pair of i9 Enduro S w/ Hydra hubs to these, so I’m well-versed in the capabilities of wheels with very quick POEs. These are noticeably lighter and quite a bit stiffer (something I prefer, but YMMV).
The power transfer is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced, the very instant you put power down it is transferred through the tire and has a remarkable effect on climbing efforts. From a durability standpoint, I’ve spent the last couple weeks plowing through rock gardens and casing jumps to see how they hold up and they’re good as new.
Initially bought these as a second wheelset but I happily sold my other pair and will use these as my primary set from now on.
For the inner child inside all of us! The Adult Trike is hand welded and constructed of heavy duty 14 and 16 gauge steel. The Dirt King adult trike comes equipped with all terrain dual pneumatic tires mounted on heavy duty steel rims with 5/8 inch steel ball-bearings.

The adult trike offers you the ability to get outside and ride on something that promotes your health. When we were young, all that energy and healthy exercise was something that just came naturally.
Fast forward to adulthood where promoting our health and exercise is something usually neglected and a non-event. The Dirt King adult trike can change all that. Some assembly required on this tricycle.
Instructions are included in packaging. Made in USA.
My daughter is 7 with special needs, and slightly small for her age. She feels uneasy on a big kid bike, even with training wheels. I really wanted to get her a tricycle that didn’t make her feel like a little kid and something she could enjoy for a long time.
She really loved our neighbors ‘Trek Trikester’, but I didn’t like the design of that trike, because the wheels were plastic and it seemed to tip when making sharp turns. The Dirt King trike really is something special.
It’s not fancy, no bells and whistles but truly this trike is a cut above the rest. Not only does my daughter fit on it, no problem. SO DO I. ha! The seat is adjustable and ALL of our kids (ages 12, 3, 4 & 7) love to ride it.
She is the envy of the neighborhood. And seriously, she looks tough! It’s easy to go from cement to grass, turns very easily and does not tip. I highly recommend this if you are wanting something a little more durable than a standard trike.
A teacher had donated this same tricycle to our preschool last year. It had belonged to her now adult children and was much loved and much used. It was still in excellent condition and quickly became the favorite ride on the playground by our children.
We have two other trikes, different brands, but the children preferred the DirtKing and would wait in line for their turn. A father watched his daughter (a student at our preschool) riding on our blue trike one morning and shared that it brought back memeories from his childhood of riding on the same model DirtKing! The very next day he gave me a check and requested that I purchase a second trike for our little school! I did so and the kids love the new red one as much as the older blue one.
These tricylces are very sturdy, well-built, and easy to pedal – well worth the extra price. We look forward to many more memories being made on our DirtKing trikes!.
My son loves his Tricycle. It easy to put together and if your traveling somewhere you can adjust the two back wheels. It great quality and it’s great to have for your child to start riding independently and go from there.
The Commander II creates a new standard with regard to durability, yet without making any compromises in terms of wet weather grip, maneuverability or stability. This performance balance provides yet another eloquent illustration of ‘s research and development philosophy: no performance gain to be achieved on one front to the detriment of another.
Rubber compounds provide remarkable wet grip, without compromising durability. Adt (Amplified Density Technology) provides a highly dense more rigid tire casing which helps deliver excellent feedback and handling in all conditions.
The square bead-wire package improves casing rigidity, handling and ease of installation. Silica Rain Technology (SRT) which integrates silica into the compound of the tire tread, while the Commander II’s tread pattern has been designed to prevent all forms of uneven wear.
The exclusive architecture of the Commander II brings both maneuverability and stability. The tire’s more rigid, high-density carcass improves maneuverability, while the aramid fiber crown ply of the rear tire enhances resistance and lightness for impeccable stability, even at high speeds.
The numerous longitudinal grooves of the tire’s tread pattern optimize water dispersal for outstanding wet weather grip.
Hankook Dynapro AT2 Xtreme 275/65-18 116T On-/Off-Road All-Terrain Truck Tire The Dynapro AT2 Xtreme is Hankook’s On-/Off-Road All-Terrain tire developed for drivers of pickup trucks, Jeeps, crossovers and full-size SUVs looking for a capable blend of off-road competence and on-road comfort and stability.
Built for versatility and traction no matter the condition, the Dynapro AT2 Xtreme offers the confident light snow traction that comes from being marked with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.
A robust, all-season tread compound is molded into an aggressive design that balances void space and biting edges, with large block surfaces for effective grip on dry and wet pavement. Staggered block edges work in conjunction with tie-bars in the outboard shoulder to help minimize airborne noise that can emit from the pattern’s off-road features, while also helping support the footprint under load for consistent handling and predictable steering response.
Aggressive shoulder and sidewall features enhance loose-surface grip and help protect the upper sidewall area from abrasions and cuts in extreme off-road conditions. Multi-directional grooves and sipes make up a network of biting edges for dynamic traction capabilities, working in combination with additional block edges to produce light snow traction that meets the tire industry’s severe snow service requirements.
Internal construction of the Dynapro AT2 Xtreme utilizes a two-ply casing to help resist punctures and damage during off-road use. Twin high-strength, steel belts are reinforced with two nylon cap plies for increased durability and stability at high speeds.
Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.
I ordered these and mounted them myself in the shop I work at. They were well balanced to begin with, only took 1/2oz weights. We had a storm by Lake Superior that brought 20-50 inches depending on where you’re at.
After I mounted the tires, the grip was so good that I took it out of 4×4 and haven’t engaged it since. The diagonal tread pattern rolls nicely to keep them quiet and the rubber is soft enough to grab in the slippery conditions.
After I mounted them, I made sure the alignment was correct (which it was), then driving down the road tracks straight as an arrow. Hardly any steering corrections. The price was more reasonable than most local locations in the area and did they had to be ordered so why no the order them myself, right?.
I probably saved $300-$400. I was recommended to this site and I will shop here again, and have recommended to friends, family, even strangers! Sent the old tires to recycling and I’ll probably order another to have a full size spare on hand.
I bought my first set based on recommendation of a friend and I have 65,000 miles on them and just starting to see some wear on 1tire and others getting close to 2/32. I rotated every oil change on my diesel truck.
Fast, efficient and lightweight for long rides through mountain backroads but still tough and durable for big days across relentless gravel as well as fast rips on technical dirt; the all-new, go-anywhere CXR 1 represents the evolution of versatile performance.
I was in the market for a pair of training wheels that looked great, were affordable, shallow, alloy, and most importantly were centerlock. I was surprised to see how few options there are on the market that checked all these boxes.
With the consistency and advantages of centerlock over 6-bolt for attaching rotors to a wheel’s hub I would think there would be more affordable wheels on the market. But right now there simply isn’t.
The SL 1 Alloy Centerlock Disc wheels have been a solid set of wheels holding up under thousands of miles across all sorts of terrain on my rides. I would highly recommend these wheels to anyone looking for dependable road wheels with modern technology.
These came stock on my new Revolt Advanced 0. They are a fabulous upgrade over all the other gravel wheels that came with my previous gravel bikes (Trek, Scott). SO GOOD I bought a pair for my wife’s Devote Advanced gravel bike.
Taking to the trails in search of big-hits on a budget receives a confidence boost from Roval’s Traverse 29in Boost Wheelset. The elegantly hand-assembled Traverse has Roval’s E5, high-strength, aluminum alloy rotating around an alloy encased DT Swiss 360 internal, step-flange hub to ensure our time on the slopes is perfectly tuned without compromises.
The 30mm internal width provides enough space to fit modern-wide tires without losing performance due to tire roll and deformation in critical trail sections.
I purchased these wheels as a set from the Specialized website at the recommendation of our LBS since there are not many sets available and they are a direct replacement for the ones that came on the Enduro.
I understand the benefits of stepping up but just didn’t have the money to spend on the Carbon version at twice the price. They are solidly built and use a slightly different side wall than the previous version.
The internal hubs are also different and are actually quieter and very smooth. Overall very pleased and looking forward to the next race to truly test them out.
There are many benefits to riding big wheels for adults. For one, it is a great way to get some exercise. It is also a great way to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Additionally, riding big wheels can help you develop balance and coordination.
