I purchased this book as a baby gift. As a teacher, I am all about getting books into the hands of children, even babies. It is so important for children to be read aloud to, at any age!

I bought this for my dog. I take her to an elementary school and the students read to her. She loved the book and so did the students. It was an easy read for challenged students.

I don’t care for this particular Dr. Sesses book but it’s decent. Not my favorite to read to my kids

The price was good, non-gmo ingredients, sounds awesome! Mia loves chicken and Leo is ok with chicken. First day I tried giving them this food they just kept turning away, they ate some food but not a single time for almost a week now have finished a whole serving.

Mia almost did. Leo eats half at most with me even hand feeding him multiple times through out the day till he just refuses. I even cut out their treats before this food so they can rely on this for calories.

Previously they were on raw, which is why I couldn’t slowly introduce it to them easily. Though it shouldnt be this bad to where Leo starved himself for a day. Thankfully Chewy support amazing as always gave me a refund.

Great puppy food! It’s super hard to find dog food that doesn’t have junk in it. This was the only puppy food under 80$ that I could find that didn’t have taurine in it and other harmful ingredients.

And I want to write that I’ve noticed all of the Blue brand food I looked at has GARLIC as an ingredient which feeding your dog garlic over long periods of time will cause significant health issues and a shorter life span.

Please look at the ingredients in what food you chose for your dogs. I lost my precious ESA dog at 7 years old because of dog food that was “ high quality ingredients “ and I decided to trust the brand and it was too late to re-inform myself about Ingredients in dog food.

Please do the research. But this is a good affordable puppy food.

I just started feeding my dog this food, so the review is fairly limited. My dog has Cushing Disease. This causes her to be hungry all the time and produce more cortisol causing a bloated belly. Her gall bladder is also bad (she’s 13) so needs have a a lower fat diet.

I tried Hill’s Prescription which was really expensive. This Nutro was recommended as well. So I compared ingredients to justify buying a lower cost food. I was astounded to see Hill’s first ingredient was Chicken meal, second was Pea protein.

Nutro’s 1st ingredient is chicken, 2nd is chicken meal. Why would I pay double for something that’s not even real meat?!?? I wouldn’t, so I don’t. This food has real meat, my dog likes it more.

This Superman costume looks awesome on my dog. The cape not only ties around my dog’s neck but there is a second tie that goes under his belly to keep the cape from sliding off his back (I wish more dog coats used this idea!).

The chestplate ties on separately and looks so much better than similar costumes with sleeves. The costume comes with a Superman belt but the belt is completely hidden behind my dogs deep chest so I don’t use it.

The belt looks cute in the photos on a smaller dog. The costume comes on its own hanger with a plastic covering like it just came from the cleaners. This makes it easy to keep hanging in a closet between Justice League adventures.

It is a very cute costume that has threads sewn onto the center of the “S” emblem on the cape (poor quality). I would not have bought this costume as there is no velcro straps. All of the straps need to be tied.

I would not recommend this product as it to difficult to put on my dog. Look for a costume that has velcro straps to be able to quickly put on and take off the costume.

I bought this costume for my German Shepherd, and she loved it. She actually loves being dressed up! The quality is great and the sizing is very accurate.

The Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn So Big Puppy is huge! His head, arms and legs are soft and the body is hard due to housing the electronics. He has a big, easy to press button on his tummy for little hands to control.

Big Puppy comes with two learning modes; Learn Mode (#1) is for 18 months and up and Engage Mode (#2) is for 24 months and up. In Learn Mode, Puppy says Hello, counts to 10, goes through the alphabet, dance party, and more! For Engage Mode, Puppy counts to 20, teaches animal sounds, colors, various words to correspond to the letters in the alphabet, freeze dance, songs, and more! There are so many different songs, phases, and sounds, over 90 total, which is nice so that he is not repeating the same things every couple of button presses.

You have two volume options which is appreciated as well. It has a sturdy bottom so that is sits up well on the flat floor and this is where you will find the on/off/volume and mode switches. Big Puppy is very cute! Overall, it is a fun toy for older babies to young preschoolers, ages 18 months to 3 years.

My 3 year old is closer to four than three and while he likes Big Puppy, I think he would have loved him more when he was a little younger.

Well K9Cuisine, I am impressed. I placed my order on Friday and FedEx delivered it on Sunday and I live in Texas whisk is half the country away from ya’ll in distance. We learned about Fromm from the obedience trainer we work with to train our Rottie.

His name is “Rocky”. The last 2 orders I have placed with K9, Rocky has had his nose planted on the box when Fed Ex delivered it. He knows it is good for him and he loves his Fromm dog food. Virtually everyday, during their neighborhood walk, my wife gets compliments about Rocky’s beautiful shiny coat and his bright clear eyes.

Initially I started with the “GOLD” version of the Fromm dry dog food. Our dog loves Fromm so much, that this time I have ordered several cases of Fromm “wet” dog food. it also arrived today and once again, Rocky’s nose was focused on that box of Fromm wet dog food.

I like Fromm because it is recommended by professional dog handlers and it is “fairly” priced. Thank you K9Cuisine for providing such “stellar” service and such fair prices. We are very pleased and Rocky is also.

This dry kibble is an excellent food for my 3 pure bred Cavalier King Charles Spaniels as well as my Australian Cattle Dog. The Cavaliers get a much smaller amount at each meal than the ACD. All dogs get added fresh vegetables and sometimes meat as well… if it is available for them that day.

All have been eating Fromm’s kibble for many years. The ACD is 9, she has had it for 8+ years. She is very healthy. Vet loves her coat and teeth, as well as her overall health. The Cavaliers are almost 5 and under 3 years old.

They too are very healthy. Good food, proper amount of exercise and playtime, as well as free time to relax keeps them in great shape. You will pay a bit more for the Fromm’s dry food. But the overall health benefits of it are undeniable.

I personally, would rather spend the money on quality food, and not on vet bills for unhealthy dogs. This just makes sense to me. Try it…. It can improve or maintain the health of your dogs as well.

My breeder weaned my new Standard Dachshund puppy on this food so I ordered a big bag of it. Theo is in love with it but not only that but if I mix in a few with my miniature dachshunds kibble she gobbles it all up! She hasn’t eaten strictly kibble for the past year due to being 15 years old, having tooth abscesses and just being 15 and demanding whatever the heck she wants! Plus before I lost my other girl in May of 2020 and my boy on the 1st of February 2021(both mini dachshunds and both a little under and a little over, respectively, 13 and a half years old) they were having issues with eating enough or at all so they got whatever garbage food they wanted, something I never allowed in their lives but at that point making sure they ate enough calories and kept their weight steady was more important than the garbage that was in the foods.

but because they got garbage Kayla also wanted garbage. Now that it’s just Kayla and new baby Theo (who only eats this kibble) she will go and snatch up all of his kibbles that she can due to her being both an Alpha female and a jerk.

but it works in my favor being I no longer have to beg her to eat nor spoon feed her! Theodore is even more in love with this kibble, he doesn’t care about ANY dog cookies, he’s tried atleast 20 kinds from different brands, flavors, hard or soft, etc and he couldn’t care less but this food? He will do ANYTHING for it! I now portion out his daily food allowance in 3 small containers and if he wants them he has to earn them in our training sessions that I do 4-6 times a day because he’s both a demonpuppy and smart as all heck which makes him a nightmare combo! But thankfully he will do anything for this food so his puppy bootcamp is working really well so far! I don’t know what’s in this stuff but I affectionately call it “puppy crack” because he can’t get enough and even my old lady loves it! 10/10 would recommend it!.

We may the transition to PPP brand food recently after hearing some online reviews about the quality of the food. One of our Boston Terrier mixes is very athletic and active and we wanted to make sure we were fuelling her correctly.

Little did we know that the reviews we were reading were from before the formula change in 2021. Over the following months, our dogs got progressively itchier, rubbed their snouts raw, developed ear infections, had their paw pads slough off, broke toenails requiring surgery, and saw severe hair thinning.

We ran all sorts of tests, put them on antibiotics and antifungals and anti-inflammatories, but nothing came back as a solid cause. It was only after the vet suggested it might be allergies (he thought seasonal – but neither had seasonal allergies last year) that we clued in that the new food was the likely culprit.

My first order with Chewy. com arrived in excellent condition and on time. However, I discovered that the Purina Proplan shredded chicken and rice +7 for large breeds in the 34 lb. size bag was not what I expected.

The kibble was/is much smaller than what my dog is accustomed to. Attempting to transition, I served it to him on more than five consecutive occasions. And, with each of those meals, he consumed only half of his normal amount.

I was throwing away expensive dog food. Therefore, I contacted Chewy. com customer service. The representative and I researched alternative products. It turns out that, in all likelihood, I should have ordered item #67519, instead of the product that is the subject of this review.

In my opinion, what created confusion in selecting products is that Purina changed the dog images on the subject bags. The respective contents share the same word-for-word description, except one product (the one my dog doesn’t like) indicates a +7.

The Purina product consisting of small kibble now comes in a bag featuring a Golden Retriever, the same image that appeared on the bag containing the larger kibble for years. In any event, Chewy. com customer service was extremely courteous, helpful, and exemplary.

They do their best to help people who are facing barriers to care for their pet, usually due to local vet shortages, financial limitations, or their personal vet’s limitations.

They have some documents for the group answering FAQs, one of which addresses which foods are the safest for our pets. They review all the ingredients, balance of vitamins nutrients, and take note of any other issues (like frequent recalls or commonly reported health issues) before putting a food on the list, so you can rest assured that the recommended foods are the healthiest and most balanced options for your pet.

These vets don’t profit whatsoever from putting this information out, so there’s no concern about biases there. They don’t just list the brands either, they make sure to specify which ones are approved.

Purina Pro Plan was the most affordable and easily accessible of the list for us to get when we first got our dog 3 years ago. I haven’t had any reason to doubt the vets’ recommendation so far!.

I bought this food based on the great reviews and similar ingredients to our usual dog food but it didn’t work out for our sensitive pit mix. It just didn’t agree with her even though I did an extremely gradual switch from her other salmon dog food.

The first day, she had bad diarrhea all evening. She uncharacteristically wanted to stay outside and went to hide behind bushes in the yard. When I got her to come inside, she hid in dark rooms she never goes in.

She also had an accident in the house. (She’s never hid before or had accidents as an adult. ) I had started with 1-2 tbsp (very small percentage of her total meal) 2x/day. When I saw her upset her stomach was not resolving, I held off a day or 2 then resumed at 12-14 pieces of kibble per meal but could never go higher than 25 morsels because she felt so bad.

One night she was breathing extremely fast which the vet said is what they do when feeling bad or distressed. As soon as I stopped this food, the diarrhea stopped. I guess her stomach is just really sensitive.

She’s back on the other brand made for sensitive systems. If you have a sensitive dog, I recommend trying a small bag first. I gave 1 star for taste, as the dog didn’t mind the flavor.

I had originally started my big pit mix rescue on the diamond naturals skin and coat formula, which he loved. The kibble pellets were small, ball shaped, they fit in a slow feeder toy that he loves, and it was a good smell, as far as a dog is concerned.

But when I got our boxer pup, who also ended up being over 90 pounds, I decided to go ahead and switch them both over to a large breed food when I switched the boxer off of his puppy food. The Diamond large breed formulas are completely different, both lamb and chicken.

The kibbles disc-like, much bigger and flatter, they’re lighter in color, which I don’t know if that makes a difference, they dont seem as dense, and they don’t seem to have much smell either. It must be a little like eating cardboard pellets.

Even the rescue, who will literally eat anything, will actually leave breakfast until dinner and then finally eat it. He never does that! So sadly I’ve had to start looking for another brand.

I have a German Shepherd and bought this for him for Halloween. The arms were super tight and I could not even get the costume on him. Super cute, but would recommend ordering a size or two bigger!

This outfit was soooo cute! I was kind of nervous to order it as the only size options available were Small and Large, but our Oreo wore it anyway (we just didn’t button it up). It was still so cute and the details it came with (cuffs, phone hat) delighted all the guests! The only negative thing I can say was the hat.

I love the way it looks on my Pug expect with the velcro, it opens up too easily. I wish it was with buttons or a zipper. I’ll have to improvise because it is really cute. Now he can match my husband in their uniforms.

I feed puppies a commercial puppy food, because the professionals have invested a lot of time and money to make sure the nutritional needs of a puppy are met. I also keep commercial dry food around and put it in my dogs food rotation.

That way if I need to board them, the transition to a easily fed food is already done. My Vet knows I feed my adult dogs a rotational diet of homemade human grade food every day, along with a few commercial foods once a week or so.

Puppies get a primarily commercial food for puppies and the homemade food as a third of their diet. My Vet is the one who suggested that this was a good food to add to ny dry food rotation and that my Doberman puppy would do good on it.

And he has.

We originally got this brand for our Great Dane large breed. It is highly recommended for that breed. We see such great results that we tried it on our Maltese Terrier. He does wonderful on it. The best benefit by far is their poop! They go less often and it is much easier to pick up.

The brand claims it’s because the food is more efficient. It is easy to find and affordable. I highly suggest you give it a try. The ingredients are top notch and closely watched. Our dogs love all of the flavors.

The beauty of this brand is the base ingredients are the same, so you can switch flavors or even types without tummy upset. If our large kibble runs out the can eat the the small one until we can get it and vice versa.

My vet says that the fashionable grain-free dog foods can lead to heart disease. It is very difficult to find higher quality dog feeds that aren’t grain-free. I am very happy with this dog food. It’s easy on my dog’s digestive system – he has solid stools and he’s not gassy.

I highly recommend this food. My dog is 13 months old now. I hope the adult food fits the bill when we need to change.

Such a speedy delivery! Could not believe how life-like this pooch is especially the eyes. I had to move it into the other room cause it kept startling me. I bought this doggie to take with me to attend a dog aggression seminar as a prop.

My husband has already said he wants to take Basset to his office when I’m finished using him. It is to remind him of Moose the real Basset waiting for him at home. Thank you so very much for such a realistic hound.

Our 4 year old grandson’s basset hound passed away, leaving him in despair. This cute stuffed basset hound (which looks like the real thing) helps to ease his longing for his pet gone from him. He sleeps with him and can be heard talking to it at night.

This plush toy arrived via USPS later than expected but once I received it it is exactly what I expected. I ordered this as a gift for myself and it arrived Valentine’s Weekend. This plush kitten looks as close as I could find to a cat I recently lost.

Oreo was my 3 year old male cat. He was a very energetic and sweet boy. Unfortunately, he was always too curious and into everything. We now suspect he succumbed to antifreeze poisoning. This kitten plush toy at least is a positive reminder of Oreo.

The product and price were excellent. So pet owners out there and others, please be careful with your antifreeze around pets and kids. Remember even diluted it is still toxic unless you are using Sierra.

Even then, I would advise being cautious.

I purchased this toy for my puppy and brought it with me when I went to pick up my puppy so she and her sister could play with it together and it would have her sister’s scent on it when I brought her home, hoping to comfort her.

Even though it isn’t a dog toy, she never ruined it and while it did show wear after 15 years of daily play, it was her favorite toy. It was the only toy she wouldn’t let any other dog play with. I highly recommend it but only if your dog is not a destroyer of toys.

I have now purchased a new one for the new puppy that is arriving to give her the same special baby. The stuffed dog on the left is the original toy, the one on the right is the new toy.

I bought my son a fur real cat… not only was it half the price of its competitors it was great service and fast delivery too! Yet again Aldi did not fail to impress me! Therefore I don’t shop anywhere else! Thank you Aldi!.

The kitty is cute and makes cute sounds when stroked. The cat has a wheel on the bottom and a rigid stick that pushes the wheel. Not the most stable thing I have seen but I don’t expect it to last forever.

Its cute and the noise it makes is pretty sweet, but the shuffle along is a bit disappointing. I thought its legs would actually move to seem lile its walking, but they dont.

I ordered this toy to play with my daughter. She loves dinosaurs and dragons. She often plays with them in her sensory bin, or in the bath tub. This brontosaurus was the perfect size for her. Not teeny tiny, and not too large.

She has had it for quite a while now, and it’s often one of her go to hands in imaginary play items when she gets home from school. It’s a hard plastic dinosaur toy, so I don’t have to worry about water getting inside and causing mold or bacteria to grow inside of it.

Once she’s done playing with it I either wipe it down with a disinfectant wipe, or pop it in the bleach bath with other toys. It’s definitely one of her favorite toys, and I’ glad I ordered it. No loud obnoxious roars, or flashing lights to over stimulate or upset her or any other child.

Makes a great toy for most kids on the Autism spectrum.

Overall this is a great set! The animal figures are always great quality – detail, likeness, heft, solid! The hutch is very realistic. It has many moving parts with doors and latches. The doors and pen are a bit flimsy and can be broken by little hands that aren’t patient enough to take their time with attaching/detaching parts.

Ours did end up breaking, but a little super glue will fix it I think. Great toys for fostering imagination! Last forever, can be passed down to generations! Quality products, very detailed and realistic.

Educational value is top notch. Can be used in just about ANY teaching moment – math, science, social studies, social skills, community!.

You can tell by the smell of the food that it is high quality. Also, my Golden Retriever puppy flat out devoured it. We did try to follow the suggested guidelines on how to mix your old food and the new food, but our puppy actually preferred this brand and wanted nothing to do with the old food.

The problem will be switching back to our old brand. And, we will have to switch – ONLY due to the fact that this food is so expensive. Now, if the manufacturer will send us some (greatly) discounted coupons since we’ve reviewed the product, we may consider switching as long as we can get a discount.

But (and this is the only reason for a 4 star review) $110 for a 22. 5 pound bag of kibble is waaay too expensive for my family to afford. It’s worth it for those that can pay it though. You WILL NOT be disappointed with how this food is made and what it does for your dog.

She was (even more) energetic. She picked up tricks a little quicker. Her breath never smelled and her coat was/is beautiful.

I started my now 7 month old German shepherd on Purina pro plan because I liked the mid range price and his vet recommended. He has always had diarrhea issues and itches more than a pup should. First thought it was a chicken intolerance so tried the pro plan sensitive skin and stomach.

The big concern I had is my dog turned his nose away from his proplan food. He of course ate it eventually but he never was thrilled about it. I thought he was being a snob but Tonight I witnessed my gsd pick out the Purina pro plan pieces to eat orijen.

I am without a doubt certain animals know what they need better than I. I think Purina has too many filler ingredients or the grains are just too much for him. Of course every animal is different and I wish mine was the kind that did great on the cheaper brand but he just isn’t.

Worth every penny to have a food my dog enjoys and I have no doubt his digestive and skin issues will improve.

I did a ton of research on what food to buy my new Golden Retriever Puppy and really had a lot of trouble deciding in the weeks leading up to getting him. Reading all of the concerns about the potential that grain free diets may be linked to canine dilated cardiomyopathy took a lot of the premium grain free food off the table for us.

I considered raw and in the end decided that it would be too much work because I would have prepared it myself. I was so relieved to find that Orijen had this new grain inclusive formula and decided to try it.

We were transitioning from the food the breeder sent home with us to Orijen and at the half-way point, mixing 50% of the old with 50% of the new, he started to pick the Orijen food out and leave the old food in his dish.

At this point, we are at less than 1/3 old food and will start feeding only Orijen tomorrow because he refuses to eat any of the old, in spite of the fact that we are only feeding on the low end of the minimum amount of food.

He has had zero digestive issues and we are extremely happy with our choice at this point.

I have 2 big dogs and I walk them everyday. My little one always wants to help but sometimes they are a bit hard to handle. Now with her walk along pet puppy and leash she can walk her dog with me. I love how you can add more that one dog on the leash and we will be getting a 2nd one to add to the dog she has.

I love how u push the leash and the dog bounces up and down as it walks and makes the cutest dog noises. Super cute!.

My daughters love this! My youngest has been eyeing this up at the store for quite a while. She was thrilled when it showed up. This one is cute. Makes some cute noises as my daughter walks it around the house, its head bobs around as they go.

Comes with the pet, a leash and batteries included.

This was for our sons fourth birthday and he loved it. It was his favorite gift. the leash is easy to put together and is a good height for our tall 4 year old. Now our other children have requested their own walking animals.

It also is not an obnoxiously loud toy which is very nice.

My boy has been eating Hill’s Diet food products for most of his life. He was eating Prescription Diet Metabolic and Mobility for a few years, but feeding time was always a chore. He wouldn’t want to eat it unless topped with boiled chicken breast pieces or canned prescription diet food.

It was expensive enough that I hated wasting food (because he’d eat around it), but as it was prescribed, I didn’t want to not follow his vet’s orders UNTIL there were “supply-chain problems” and that food became extremely expensive and unavailable.

I took advantage of that inability to acquire the more expensive prescription diet food and switched almost very abruptly to this slightly-less-expensive food. It’s the only time that I’ve seen him eat dry food voraciously just for the taste of it since he was an actual puppy and ate to please me.

He’s five now and knows what he wants and has no problems expressing himself when he’s not happy. This food makes meal time less stressful. I love hearing him crunching on his dry food, but I also know that I can trust the brand for healthful and nutritious meals.

At first, I worried about abandoning the prescription diet because it has the added supplements for his arthritic joints. But these newly-formulated options also have the Glucosamine and Chondroitin that the vet recommends and, just in case this formula has less than what is recommended for therapeutic levels, he is still taking the supplements with MSM as well.

That, he does to make me happy; he eats this food out of pure joy. Is it the Lamb and brown rice? I don’t know. All I know is that I am not throwing away food anymore.

My senior dog gained weight and was having constipation issues. Even senior formulas have too many calories for her. My vet recommended I put her on a diet food of my choice. Not only would this help her loose weight, and keep it off, but the extra fiber would help her constipation troubles.

For me, it was a choice between this and Purina Pro Plan. I choose this food as it has about 300 cals per cup as well as having a good fiber content. Simply cutting her portions down more wasn’t helpful as she would simply be consuming too little nutrients and feel hungry.

My dog loves the taste of this food. It seems to smell ok to me (for dog food). This food will make your dog have massive poops, but that is great for my dog who needed the extra fiber. Her issues were beyond pumpkin.

After a transition to this food she is very regular. My dog has lost weight after one bag. She is currently almost 3lb down. She wasn’t massively overweight, but her ideal weight is probably about 62-65 and she was a hefty 70! Weight loss in animals can be slow, but even a few pounds makes a massive difference.

She already looks leaner and has more desire to excersize. I’ll probably keep her on this food long term once she is healthy and bump up the serving size to maintenance.

The puppy is super cute and my child loves it. Thats the best thing about this. However, the walking feature is disappointing. There is one wheel between the front legs meant to roll along for “walking.

” Because there is just one wheel, its front heavy and unless you have it at just the right angle, the puppy topples forward and doesn’t roll well no matter what surface its on and my child gets frustrated with it.

The kids love it, and it hasn’t broken yet, knock on wood. Cons: much louder than I expected based on the video; no off switch; ships with batteries in place so if you’re trying to surprise your kid, you have to either handle it like a bomb at all times to avoid triggering the barks, or take the batteries out (very carefully, to avoid triggering the barks).

Also, this one makes a gas-passing noise, which the kids obviously love, but isn’t going to amuse all adults.

My 2 grandsons, 4 and 2 years old, absolutely love their dogs and I also bought 2 Clifford The Big Red Dog books. They were very excited because of the new Clifford movie coming in the next 2 weeks to theaters across the country.

This was a hugely popular transaction!.

They are $5 at Kohls. When the new movie came out they got bought out and jack up to $25. I was glad to get one, I was not happy about the mark up.

I love it and I know my toddler son will too.Clifford the big red dog is his favorite show to watch.

My dog loved this food. We have been trialing lots of different puppy foods at the moment as we would like him to have a food that he loves but that is also good for him. This food is just that. The ingredients seem to be good quality and the kibble is of a really good size for a puppy.

The kibble is small enough to also be used as treats on a walk to ensure training is going well. It is really useful to have a food that can be used at dinner time but also on a walk as treats that he still loves and you can tell that it is a good quality treat unlike some other brands.

My puppy usually gets bored of food after a while and we have to change it up but this hasn’t happened at all. He is always excited in the morning for his breakfast with this! The bag of food is a good size, and will keep my dog going for quite a few weeks.

The smell of the kibble is also fairly good. Some kibble can smell quite strong and not very pleasant which I think may say more about the ingredients inside. This kibble only has a very small smell and the smell is good which gives me hope that my dog is eating something of good quality! The packaging is also very good.

You can fold it down to ensure the food is kept fresh which I think is essential for your dogs to want to eat their food. Very good quality packaging. I would recommend anyone try this food to see if your dog loves it as much as mine does.

All of my animals seem to really enjoy the Purina brand. I will be trying all of the different flavours to let him have a variety of meals! It’s nice that Purina have different flavours for a puppy to try.

Our dog has just turned 12 months. A setter poodle cross (setterpoo?. poosetter??) he has turned out to be a little selective with his meal choices. We’ve tried various wet and dry choices and combinations over the months, but he seemingly gets bored and likes us to mix it up a bit.

Now, I know I’ll probably get some dog owners here telling me when he’s hungry, he will eat. but we can go a whole day where he will refuse his bowl, and at such a formative stage of his growth, we (probably unwisely) try to mix up meals to give him a choice and that seems to work for him.

Not great for trying to buy in bulk but it means he eats more regularly With this, he was in first bowl! Lovely, we thought. Second meal time, half. next day , a bit less. So we changed the food for a few days, came back to this and it seems to work as a rotating option.

This clearly has benefits. His stools are more manageable and less smelly and the small pellets he finds easier to eat. In short, he enjoys. but I have probably encouraged his palate to wish for variety, so a big bag will go a long way!.

We were not quite sure what to expect as do not usually pick dog food specifically for “athletic” dogs but we have a large very active dog and looking after her joints and general wellbeing is important to us.

Straight away, the food looked really appealing even to us as humans (even more so to our dog who was really excited the moment the pack arrived) and judging by the feedback received it must taste really good too.

Dog’s been eating the food very happily and never left any behind which is rare for a dry food. We care a lot about what our dog eats and the list of ingredients for Purina’s large athletic adult is pretty clean and clear with no unnecessary additives which is reassuring.

Feeding instructions were also clear and packaging robust. We now feed this twice a day (morning and evening) and our dog is very happy and energetic. Her coat is also shinier than before.
