Buyer beware. We have had this Hayward Aqua Trol for appx 14 mths. The control board has gone out 3 times, once shortly after install and twice after spring opening. The pool has only been up and running for a less than 8 mths considering the closure for winter and this last time the part has been unavailable for 2mths.
Very frustrating for me and our pool company. Hayward has been useless as their customer service take forever to answer the call and then when they tell you someone will call in the 5-7 days, you get an email 1 mth later telling you how to find a repair agent.
I will not recommend this product to anyone. We may have gotten a bad product but no one is willing to switch it out and we are out over $1k for this luxury.

The system is a little pricey. I would highly recommend Hayward complete salt system to anyone. Again The system works amazing, no problems, no hassle with conventional chlorine, just set your conventional pool clock timer for start time and off time and simply walk away and forget it.

I initially purchase a pair of these to replace the stock iPhone headphones which had stopped working and my intention was to use them primarily with my iPhone. Compared to the standard iPhone earphones these are 10X better both in terms of sound quality and comfort.
They produce a great sound and not at all tinny like the iPhones, the bass is both rich and crisp and they appear to be louder. Comfort wise they are excellent, you get a selection of earbuds to fit but mine fit with the stock ones on.

I purchased this skimmer to replace a 20 year old cracked one on my pool at the home I grew up in which I now rent. The items arrived quickly and seems to be an authentic Hayward part of good quality.
It was pretty easy to install it. Its not necessarily clear in the pictures and description but this comes with everything you need to install and use this skimmer. It comes with a water return jet, the leaf basket and vacuum elbow attachment , comes with 2 male threaded fittings that attach it to the filter hose (one fitting for the skimmer and one for the water return).
It also of course had the skimmer lid and float door as well as the silicon seal that sits between the skimmer and the pool wall. Its one seal but its actually 2 sided and provides seal on both the inside and outside pool walls.
There is also the face plate of the skimmer (the part you see when looking at the skimmer from the inside of the pool and of course the screws to install it. If you want to use an aqua-door to easily close the pool for winter you will have to buy it and its special face plate separately.
Installed it on an Intex pool. It installed easy enough. Only issues were the skimmer connection to the filter hose and the way the vacuum attaches. To connect the filter hose, you have to cut the end off of the hose and use a clamp.
Would be nice to have an adapter to just secret it in like the hose connects to the pump. The vacuum adapter is just held on by the suction and comes loose. Would be better if it actually attached to the skimmer.
Like a twist lock the way the cover is attached. But. its still a decent skimmer.

Really pleased with this item. I the chlorine (and PH and TA) levels are nearly always correct since buying this and hardly have to top up now since using (maybe just once a week). Tablets I also purchased last approximately 3/4 days.
It makes maintenance of hot tubs much easier (only need to check every 3 days as opposed to every day now) whilst also being cost effective way in my opinion. Also allows you to adjust the amount it distributes depending on the type and size of your tub by simply turning valve to allow more water to pass through at the bottom.
One tip is to make sure you attach some type of string (I used nylon string) to the device and to one side of the tub (opposite the filter) to ensure the device does not float into the filter to disrupt the pump/flow.

I had one of these before and it worked great! The only reason I needed a new one was because I was very careless with the last one and broke it. The new one works just as good, and I assume that as long as I am not as careless with this one that it will last a long time!.

I found the ezfrog easy to use, softer on my skin and reasonably priced. The only two negatives were it tends to settle in front of the water intake (don’t know if thats ok or not). I also tended to cough some from the small amount of chemical fumes.
