I have used this product for years and it used to be fantastic but they have changed it! It used to be bigger strips and stickier wax (thin, you could almost see through it). New formula isn’t as sticky so doesn’t get as much hair out due to that.
The oil used to be blue and was very good at removing any left behind wax. New oil is in a spray which is a bit harder to use (very small) but it smells horrible! It smells like a lemon floor cleaner (mind you most floor cleaners smell better than this does).
It is probably still one of the best at home strips out there so I would still recommend but just so sad that the changes they have made are not for the better!.
This was my first experience with at home waxing that wasn’t the strips with wax already on them. Those never worked for me but this worked great. The directions are clear and easy to follow, just make sure you follow them and keep your wax warmed.
My only critique was that the box contains just enough for your legs (if you only do below the knee). At least for a newbie like me.
As an esthetician I didn’t have high expectations for these and I typically use a wax pot but I needed a quick solution and these were actually amazing. Super easy and quick to use and NO mess!! The only thing is that I wish the strips were bigger.

I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect, I knew from hear say to expect it to hurt, but I also had heard it was worth it so I figured I’d give these a try. I’ve always been a razor and shave cream girl but hate that in a day or two, I’d feel stubbles.
So when we were going camping, I knew I wouldn’t have access to a razor for almost a week so I figured this was the perfect opportunity. They work! They are easy to apply, just peel (press down firmly) , stick, and PULL! Pull in the opposite direction that your hair grows.
Then let loose whatever screams you were holding back lol. In all seriousness, it does hurt but only for a few minutes and then you are left with silky smooth skin and can wear a bikini or shorts with confidence for days and days.

These were really easy to use and mess free. They warmed up fairly quickly (especially considering that I have cold hands) and it was easy to apply them with accuracy. I have fairly dark, thick hair so I did have to repeat the process in some areas but this didn’t cause any irritation.
These are great wax strips for face and bikini. They remove hair effectively. These strips don’t grip short hairs, so I have to grow out my hair for 3-4 weeks before waxing. This means that I have to go weeks with unsightly hair that I desperately want to remove.
It is for this reason that I only use these strips when I want to be able to go 1-2 weeks without shaving, like when I’m on a vacation. I also find that these strips do not grab and remove fine hair, like peach fuzz.
I find the Parissa Strip Free Hot Wax much more effective. It removes more hair, including short and fine hairs (peach fuzz) on the face. But, the wax strips are much more convenient and easy to use.
The strips don’t require heating and the risk of burns is greatly diminished with strips. I like that I can travel with these strips. I find warming the strips makes them more effective. I heat them by blasting them with my blow dryer for approximately 20 seconds.
My skin is very sensitive and these strips do not irritate it. The oil included in the kit is an excellent treatment. It removes remaining wax, soothes the skin and prevents ingrown hairs. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I no longer pay for eyebrow waxes and solely use this product. It comes with strips that are pressed together and you pull apart. While the strips are pressed together I cut them into quarters, which allows me to get 8 strips out of 2, and gives me the ability to create a more detailed look.
When you leave the product in it’s full strip form, I find they are a little to large and boxy for a nice rounded brow, but great for in between brows. I place the strip as close to my brow as possible, and then pluck the hairs that I miss so that I’m not left with any bald patches.
For the best wax, I put pressure on the whole waxed area of the strip, pull the skin taute, and remove the wax against the direction of growth. It does come with a small vial of wax removing oil that works excellently to free the skin of any remaining wax (though very little remains).
The price is around 8-10$ where I am located, and I get at least 5 brow waxes out of a box, so at the very least I’m saving 15$. I highly recommend this product, it is easy to use and clean up. A great addition to the box would be brow stencils to ensure customers could get the shape they’re looking for.
Because COVID I haven’t been to my waxing spot, so figured I’d try on my lower legs. My lower leg hair is thick but patchy and curly. I had my partner help me for the back of my legs because I couldn’t quite get a good grip.

Oh my days considering veet are known for being the daddy of waxing products, honestly, I expected an awful lot more from them. Unfortunately I feel so let down by the brand. They’re similar to other brands on the market which yield the same result.
Personally, I find them extremely painful to whip off even when making the perfect tear. I have tried every type of veets waxing strips and cant get along with any. My first wax was with a friend and it was the worst experience I have ever had! I was sore and tender for 3 days after. An other friend of mine said I was crazy and should consider sugar waxing. I was sceptical at first because of the trama I went through but I decided to give it a try because of how the grow back stage took longer than shaving and that was the main reason of me trying it.
My hair grows back so fast and dark and I was getting tired of constantly shaving. My sugaring lady was very chill and welcoming while understanding of what I went through. After I left I was 1- shocked for how quick it took, 2- I was in no pain afterwards, 3- I was happy with the results.
After going to 3 different sessions it started to become pricy for my bank and I felt that I could do it myself. So here we are, feeling independent and in control of my waxing I decided to purchase ‘sugar me smooth’ products.

After seeing the ad on Facebook and instagram a bazillion times (it was cute the first few times; lead actress is adorable, but yeesh do they overplay it now…so minus 1/2 star for that). Annoyance aside, I decided to try it since I’m sick of my skin being super irritated after shaving, particularly my armpits.
They’d be red and itchy and bumpy for days after shaving, and switching to a natural deodorant didn’t fix it. So here we are, trying the sugaring process. Looking at the videos multiple times and reading the directions, I figured “How hard could it be?” Turns out, quite difficult.
I got the flicking technique perfect on the inside of the wrist, but when it came time to try the pits…. yikes. It took probably about three sessions for me to be able to get any kind of decent amount of hair removed because it would get so sticky instantly no matter how cool the room was.
I tried with the fan on full blast, but the way our house is, if I stayed in front of the fan, I couldn’t use a mirror. Fine for legs…not so fine for the pits. I ended up having to keep the sugar paste in a bowl of ice, rub ice on my armpits, and then I could still make maybe two or three passes before the sugar paste got too melted again.
So minus another 1/2 star for sheer difficulty and having to use a lot of product since it gets too sticky too fast. That said, there is ZERO irritation after. I wait a day before applying deodorant—just put on the soothing spray, then the soothing solution, and it’s actually fine.
Never been a smell in the interim. Either way, I’ll deal with the mess and the time-consuming process to get nice, smooth armpits that last for 2-3 weeks (currently…I imagine that time will lengthen in the future) and cause zero irritation.
As for legs and other areas…I’d say not worth the effort. Shaving is faster, and my legs don’t get irritated like my pits did.
I’ve done my legs, bikini line and armpits. I got some bruising in the beginning but as I kept going, I have gotten better and my skin is looking amazing! I hated shaving my bikini line because the next day I used to have red bumps and looked terrible plus it itched! But not with this amazing sugar wax! I live in an Indian household and my family has had a couple salons in the past. Since 14 I have gotten bikini waxes leg waxes underarms and so on. We have always used the clean and easy strips and wax btw the hard wax is amazing and doesn’t hurt as much but these strips pull and hurt compared to what they have in the salon.
These are just a little rougher still great over any other brand but I will be sticking to the other ones.

I use these applicators for larger areas where I don’t need to worry about precision. The sticks are thick, sanded smooth, work with all types of wax, they are easy to use and rarely have split or chipped wood.
So I never have to worry about getting a splinter like cheaper brands I’ve bought in the past. My only complaint is price. But I chalk that up to getting what you pay for….

Here are my tips: 1) Once the wax is ready (should be honey-like consistency), take a thick popsicle stick and dip it about one inch into the pot.
Spoon it out so there is a good amount of wax on the stick. You need to apply enough wax otherwise it will go on too thin and will be hard to remove. 2) Apply the wax onto the skin in small sections, no more than 2″ x 2″.

It has a good timeframe for workability, so your leaving it on entirely too long if it’s breaking apart, slowly pull it, if it stretches easily or has liquify spots you can see or feel let it sit a few seconds longer.
Do t wait till it’s cooled all the way of your going to cuss yourself picking and ripping every little piece of hair off at that point. Like I said a little patience and your going to save yourself a ton of money.
It’s convenient and the wax itself works amazing! Does exactly what is supposed to and pulls almost all the hair, you may have a couple to tweeze due to direction of growth but that’s regardless who does it or what wax you use!.

I don’t hate this product, but I don’t love it just yet. However, I think it’s more user error than anything. I’m not cut out to be a waxer. That said, it works…and well. In theory, it is easy enough to use.
You are given everything you need except a microwave: instructions, melting cup, wax beads, wooden mixing/application sticks and azulene oil for use afterwards. I like the idea of using a microwave to melt for the ease of use, but waxing myself in the kitchen is not ideal and by the time I get to the privacy of a restroom the product needs to be reheated.
Thus, my love/hate relationship with this. I’m already a HUGE fan of Sally Henson’s wax strips you melt in your hands so I don’t foresee myself really switching permanently, but this wax does seem to do better for thicker, courser hairs like bikini and eyebrows.
I think I need more practice honestly. I’m not sure if the wax beads are sold separately as a refill, but that would be nice instead of having to fill landfills with these cups every time you purchase.

I’d say this wax is a good product if your willing to take the time and effort to put it on your skin. If you add a layer that’s to thin it will crack and not work properly, but if you put a little thicker coat on your skin and allow it cool down to the right temperature then it will peel off and take the hair off without pain.
I will say you have to heat the wax in the microwave so keeping an eye on it so it doesn’t get to hot is kinda annoying. Another thing is this wax is EXTREMELY messy! I advise you lay a towel on the floor while you use it so it does not get everywhere and you have a huge mess to clean up like I did! Definitely use the oils and lotions before and after applying this product.
