20 Best Aqua Ionizer Deluxe 7.0 (2023 Updated)

First heard about “ionized water” through Kangen Water, and wasn’t at all interested in spending thousands of dollars for one, so found this unit as an alternative. I purchased this unit new, from the manufacturer.

I can tell you it’s a solid unit, quality built. There is plenty of documentation available online in regards to setting it up and actually using the various settings. basically fix the hoses to the unit, and fixes the hoses to your faucet diverter (included) and plug it in.

With a background in chemistry, obviously the first thing I did was test the water. The pH readings were right on the money, and the taste of the water is undeniably smoother on the daily drinking setting.

I think a lot of people forget the other settings, and neglect the fact one of the main benefits of these machines is removing pesticides from their fruits / vegetables. Unless you have one of these machines, trust me, you’ve never properly removed the pesticides from your produce.

It takes highly alkaline, or highly acidic, water to properly wash them off. Would I recommend this unit? Yes, of course. The price is right and it performs as advertised. It’s a “step up” from normal tap water and bottled water.

a little perk you can take advantage of that most people will never hear about. If you’re on the fence, and unsure if one of these is right for you or not. just consider how much you’d pay to NOT have toxic pesticides all over your food.

Consider what it’s worth drink water that’s actually been engineered to be healthy. Because this unit will probably last for at least 5-10 years, thats worth $900 bucks. Cheers~.

I did and I couldn’t be happier! I researched water ionizers for several months before settling on this one. This one is made of the same plastics and metals as the very expensive ones ($7,000-10,000) and provides the same healthy water! To be sure, I tested the water immediately to make sure it worked as advertised.

It did and does. It is one of the easier machines to use–very user-friendly. I have arthritic hands and a condition that causes chronic muscle pain. Within just a couple of weeks of drinking the alkaline water from this machine, my fingers and muscles have been pain-free! I still have the large knuckles from the arthritis but no more pain.

Alkaline water is the best thing I’ve done for myself! Do your research, then buy this machine! I highly recommend!.

I’ve had this unit for about two weeks now and the pH and ORP levela it produces at each of the presets is consistent. I think that maybe only having 7 plates and a lower power rating than more expensive competitors is the fact that better ORP levels are achieved when water flow is set to “low” at the faucet.

As the water passes more slowly over the 7 plates, it produces lower ORP levels than it does at a “moderate” water flow. (The screen on the ionizer displayed the speed of th incoming water flow, so my assessment of the water flow is based on the information provided by the unit itself.

I’ve been contemplating buying an Aqua Ionizer for years, I’m glad I finally did it! It’s compact, not loud and very easy to use. I was able to sit mine on the countertop and hook it to my faucet without any tools.

Generally good, with some flaws and lack of support. I bought this filter to replace an Opti alkaline filter which I had continued issues with. Generally this has been better from a performance standpoint, though the taste is not quite so good.

I have been using this unit with the two-stage filters (PH001 and PH002). The first set up worked well – the taste is nice and I like the high capacity. Size wise it’s a little challenge to fit in my fridge given the maximum shelf spacing I can achieve – it’s a tiny bit too tall so it’s a pretty tight fit and that makes it a pain to refill and when I want to remove to clean it.

The Opti was shorter and a little wider. When I first attached the PH002 second stage filter, there was an unpleasant taste – it needs a lot more cleaning and flushing than the instructions suggest, so I recommend following the set up instructions twice to ensure you get a good taste.

My issues started when I replaced the filters for the first time. I followed the set up and filter priming steps – filling and discarded the filtered water 6 times to ensure no trace of unpleasant taste.

For the forst few weeks it worked fine, then the water starting filtering extremely slowly – just a drop every few second. So I would fill the reservoir at night and after 24 hours only had about an inch of water through the filter.

I removed the filters, gave them a good shake, ran under the tap, shook again (as in the initial set up instructions). Some black water emerged, so I repeated a few times and replaced in the unit. Again it was good for about a week or so, but then the same problem.

This has happened a further 3 times, so at this point, I’m having to reprime the filters every week, which is a pain as you have to empty the whole thing and it’s a hassle. I contacted Customer Support (actually replying to one of their emails saying “how are you getting on with your unit, get in touch if you need help”, but they have not responded, so I don’t know what to do and whether this is an issue with the replacement filters I bought.

Another issue is that the PH002 second stage filter is EXTREMELY difficult to attach if you use the silicone ring. If you omit the ring it’s easy to attach but doesn’t create a tight seal and water leaks around the sides of the filter.

But with the silicone ring, you have to push the two filters together very hard to be able to screw the smaller one in place, and it’s a real struggle. I’m male, 6’4”, 200lbs, pretty strong and this is very hard – I don’t know how others would be able to do this if they have any dexterity issues.

So my initial positive experience with this is waning somewhat since I cannot get Customer Support on the slow filtering issues – I wonder if others have experienced something similar.

Hi, I would like to give a genuine review, no exaggeration. This product actually works. It changes the water taste; in fact, now I like this taste better than packaged bottled water. I want to highlight there is no clear instruction on how much water should pour into the reservoir.

There is no marking on it. It took me some time to figure this out. The complete process took me almost 3 hours; when the water is ready to drink, you have to change water 2-3 times before you start drinking.

Important tip; if too much water fills, it will begin to leak out from the reservoir, so don’t fill too much. So far, I am happy with this product.

I live in Southern Arizona where the water is really bad. After it’s filtered I can still taste a sharp taste in the water but we feel like it’s drinkable. If you’re in the same situation where the tap water is hard, I recommend getting a stronger filtration system.

We’ve been using for couple weeks now.

This machine works okay, but I wish I had done more research before committing. I got this one because it was cheaper than Kangen by about $1000 and had a “lifetime” warranty. Problem is, the lifetime warranty is voided if your tap water quality isn’t good enough.

That and the “ionizing plates” are really just very small, thin, mesh, platinum-gilded plates versus Kangen’s solid 2-inch-thick platinum plates. The user interface is also really weird, which wouldn’t have been a deal-breaker, but it is inconvenient and drives me crazy.

For one thing, it doesn’t tell you the pH of the different settings on the control board, just an icon that describes its use. You have to use a separate (included) reagent to see what pH is actually coming out.

It’s listed in the instruction manual too, but who is gonna get that out every time? So it just says “alkaline level 1” “acidic level 2” etc without indicating the actual pH. It also has a “flow control” knob front and center that we never use.

(It’s supposed to make the water come out slower or faster. supposedly better for the machine if you go slower??) All in all, just go with the name brand, don’t bother with the knockoff. Sorry AlkaViva, I really wanted to like you.

I bought a Delphi H2 back in 2019. After a year of operation, the unit became mineralized. This came as a surprise as we had tested the water beforehand. The machine was still in warranty but after sending it in, I was told that mineralization voids the warranty.

Despite this, Scott French, the tech at Alkaviva, was able to repair the unit and get it back to me without a charge for the repair along with additional new filters that would prevent future mineralization.

Since then, the machine has worked like a dream. I use the Delphi H2 in everyday drinking and often carbonate the water with another machine I have, which comes out delicious tasting. So, I appreciate the customer service.

Scott French did a good job. David Banuelos, another Alkaviva team member, has been very helpful too by keeping informed of their new products and deals they are having on filters and other items. Counting on the machine to continue to work well and will update this review should I run into anything else but satisfied for now.

It’s really the only good thing he puts into his body lol! Okay now. I’ve had my Melody (old original) since September 2005, seriously. Still going strong with the right care and regular filter changes when due.

I even used it while I was living in Arizona while using the RO and scale protection filter. Now back in Washington state I can use my UltraWater filter just on it’s own. Thank you AlkaViva for your superior service in getting these to me super fast, truly appreciate it.

(So do my animals & plants!) I began a new job a couple weeks ago and soon I will be able to update to a H2 Ionizer is my hope after I pay some bills being on hold and I know I can with the financing options I see on your website.

I ask this question at least 7 times a day: “Why didn’t I install this filter system 15 years ago??” We used to buy water from local water filtering shop and then we bought from Publix water filtering machine and lately had to use our fridge filter but the water quality wasn’t as good.

I think of all the time we spent hauling big jugs of water containers and time to time run out of filtered water and rush to the store. This filtering system ended all that headache! We get quality water that taste as good as bottled water, if not better, and we have plenty of water any time, any day.

The installation was very easy. The manual is easy to follow and I did the whole thing in a couple of hours. If I didn’t have to make some custom installation, I could have finished it sooner. The only issue I had was that one of the threaded fastener’s end wasn’t factory tight so I had a minor leak! That was quickly fixed by unscrewing the fastener and putting some Teflon tape on it and tight the fastener which took no more than 7 minutes.

Overall, we are very pleased with this system and I have encouraged several family members and friends to install one.

I’ve had this system for the past 3 months. We got this system to replace our ROES 50 system due to increased family size (2-4 members) and to aid in faster filling of our 5 gallon water jugs we use for our Primo.

This system has performed beyond expectations. Our water PPM has been the same as previously despite the faster filtration and less wasted water (~280’s pre filtered to low teens filtered). Also, it previously took about 3 hours to fill a five gallon jug, now it only takes about 30 mins.

The water pressure is incredible! No more waiting around for cups to fill. Lastly, replacing the system was very simple as many of the parts were the same as the ROES-50 and did not require removal. If you have an older system, I would highly recommend the upgrade.

After messing around for years with big name box store RO systems I did my homework and ordered the ROES-100. Great tasting water, twice the flow rate of my old systems, full size ice cubes! This is solid, not a plastic toy.

The system is very well thought out and even includes a water leak sensor. We had to change our sink base after multiple small leaks from the old system. Nice touch! I did a basement install just to make the servicing easy, I feed 2 icemakers plus the kitchen sink with no pressure drops.

Since I was replacing an old system installation took less than 10 minutes, but even on a new install it should be easy as all the parts included should cover most installation situations. Thanks for a great product.

This saved my family relationship. It has given us safedrinking water without the hassles of bottled water. The installation was straightforward and extremely easy. The size of the unit is bulky but fits nicely inside our 36″ base with enough room for the waste basket.

The taste of the water is very good. To the point that regular tap water now seems off.

I really like the look of this pitcher and love that it’s glass, those are the main reasons I picked this pitcher over all the others I researched. And, drinking healthier water and helping the environment are a big plus, no doubt.

However, I do have a complaint about this product: I don’t know if this is a defect in the glass or if it’s a design choice, but, the color of the glass at the base of the pitcher has a brownish tint which in turn reflects in the water, it makes the water look brownish yellow— not very appetizing.

I took off the rubber glass protector at the bottom of the pitcher thinking this contributes to the yellow tint but it didn’t make much of a difference. I poured some water into one of my clear colorless drinking glasses to compare and it does look very clear in it so now I know for sure it’s the pitcher, (I would send a picture if I could).

It does taste good, though, (not as tasty as Britta water, in my opinion, but that’s okay). I doubt I would have purchased this product if I had seen in person what the water looks like; I want the water I drink to look pure and clean in its pitcher, that’s important to me.

I keep my pitcher on my white kitchen counter so I see it all the time. Glass with a blue or green or no tint would be better. On another note: the 30% discount for filters came almost immediately after receiving the pitcher and expired way too soon, within days.

I’m going to miss out on a very good discount because I didn’t decide quickly enough that I was satisfied with this product. More time should be given for that discount.

Outstanding! Ever since I read Dr Emoto’s books about the significance and miracles of water, I have been a water purist. I’ve taken all sorts of steps such as distilling etc, to ensure the best quality of water.

Invigorate water surpasses everything I have ever had previously and it’s so quick, easy, and yes. , delicious! I’m grateful to my friend for the introduction. Invigorate filtration system is a life enhancer.

Love the products. This last order I thought I ordered the replacement filters only. I was trying to take advantage of the 25% off sales on filters. The counter decanter and the pitcher came instead.

Horrible customer service. I got two carbon filters to try a different brand for my whole house well filtration system. They didn’t take the smell out at all. The other brand, iSpring, would last 3-6months.

I contacted customer service and they said to mail them back at my expense and a 15% restocking fee which was going to be close to my total cost of $50. I called and spoke with someone named David and he said the same thing unless the filters were faulty.

I suggested that they were since they didn’t work at all. He told me to pay for a water test and then they’ll refund me. I told them that if their filters aren’t even as good as their competitors then they’re either faulty or an inferior product.

Now he won’t get back to me and all I’ve asked for was a refund. It’s been 2 weeks of back and forth emails and they refuse to give me a refund because they don’t know why the filters didn’t last. I’ll tell you, because they’re inferior and defective! Please just refund my money so I can purchase a different brand.

This is ridiculous.

I though I was buying a product from a serious company that were looking to create longterm relationships with the customer instead of one time transactions due to a product that have not fulfilled a customer expectation.

Now, in case I want to return the product they are telling me they can receive it but you will keep a porcentaje as restocking fee and I amresponsable for the shipping cost… really!?From my perspective a company should always work base on morality and standbehind their products specially when they are not meeting a customer expectations, I did all on my end to use their over the counter filter including replacing my sink faucet (over $100 more) and all I got was a maybe 1 gallon per hour that waste more water on the return line that what it filters, very sadresults.

Hope you take this review in to consideration and look for other options and different company.

I chose this system because the tank is a little more than a gallon and the compact setup of the filters. I set it up in my basement and got a couple extra fittings to have both a faucet and connect to the ice maker in my fridge.

I connected into a waterline with a T-fitting and used a T-fitting to split the water supply between the faucet and the fridge. Also purchased an extra shut-off valves to isolate the fridge. Clean cold water and ice.

My family & I love & happy with this machine. It assures us of pure, clean, alkaline drinking water. Its other features are useful in skin cleansing, washing veggies, & food preparation. Glad to have this machine in our household.

I love it. It is so much better than buying bottled water. The water tastes so good! It’s cleaner, fresher, no more chlorine smell or metallic taste. Costs less overall.

I can not believe I paid $3,000. 00 for this machine, for it to arrive with missing parts. I called customer service and informed them, they said, they would send me what was missing, only to be disappointed again, as they still didn’t send all the missing parts the second time around.

I have screws missing in a $3,000. 00 product, how does that happen. Plus the machine doesn’t truly produce a pH range of 11. I have the Vesta machine, and on the highest settings with the output on low, the highest pH was 8, if that.

At best this is nothing but a glorified over price water filter machine. If you are looking for a machine to produce high alkaline pH levels don’t buy this machine.

I have been very pleased with this machine. I’ve only had it for 2 years, but loving it. The filtered water taste better than any brand. My whole family uses it and use the water for everything including cooking.

I would’ve given this a zero star if it is possible. I bought it before 6 months and I was using water bottles and did not need to use it much. It takes so long to filter the water and I did not care because I spend all my day outside and not using it.

before one week I started working from home and not going out. It takes the whole day to filter one glass of water. So, you can not use it as the main source of water. When I called them they suggested some steps to do.

I did then start getting small black things like coal in the water. I called them again, the person who answered my call said the water in NY is so bad and you need to get a new one. I was about to buy a new one, but when I asked if I have the same problem with the new one can I return it within a month? she said not sure because the NY water is bad?!!!!! why do I spend this money to filter good water?!! To make things worse, the person who answered my call when I told her why we buy filter if the water is perfect, she said do you buy it or not we have other calls waiting?!! So, if you live in an area with “bad” water or you are a New Yorker avoid this company and these filters.

It is just a waste of money and time with really bad customer service.

This pitcher is awful. Claims to work a full year before needing replacement. HA! Barely worked 2 months before I had to jump through hoops for a replacement filter. Which is currently horrible. I barely get two glasses of water a day out of this piece of garbage.

I had to go buy water twice. And now I’m going to buy a Brita and throw this junk pitcher in the garbage where it belongs. Quest you are lying to your customers. Oh did I mention the customer service rep actually had the nerve to ask me if my water is well water? HUH?!?? No ma’am it isn’t.

And even if it is- your website doesn’t say the product will only work with regular water. Terrible. Just terrible. Dr. Berg on YouTube suggested this company on one of his videos. I am starting to believe he must own stock in Quest bcuz this product is a scam and a lie.

No way could I be the only person that has an issue with this worthless item. Save your money. BUY A BRITA! Atleast Brita tells you that you have to chg the filter every 2mos. No lies to consumer. YUCK@Quest!.

We got Fluoride Countertop Water Filter System as we usually get, and we were happy with it until after 6 months when the water flow significantly reduced. We contacted the customer service and were advised to soak it in the vinegar/water solution.

When I opened the fluoride filter, I noticed it was cracked and severely damaged leaching black filtering components into the water, clogging the system and possibly affecting the water quality. When I contacted customer service again, I was told it was water pressure that cracked the filter.

They offered 20% off the replacement cartridge. The discount would not even cover shipping cost. I was totally disappointment with the customer service as I believe the filter was defective from the beginning and it took some time to expose the issue.

There is no way it could crack the cartridge as someone slammed it with a hammer We have used this filter in the past and referred family and friends who purchased the filter from Crystal Quest. However, we will be switching the companies since Crystal Quest does not stand behind its name and advising our family and friends to do the same.

1. The product came from Japan in just a few days. Super fast. 2. The product is designed for 100v. Although it works fine with 110v, this makes it not qualifying for warranty. 3. I like the taste of the ionized water very much.

We also did a comparison between tap water, Santevia water and ionized water. All family members like the ionized water best. The fittings come with the unit doesn’t fit on my existing faucet (even though it has 3 choices).

I think all the newer pullout faucet will have the same issue. (any faucet head with larger than 24 mm diameter) So I installed another faucet on the side to make it work. There is an existing hole on the counter top for drinking water/spray hose.

You can see it from the picture, it’s not pretty, but it’s good enough for me. I figure when I move in the future, I’ll just put the spray hose back. At the end of the day, I had some fun plumbing experience and a lovely ionized water machine.

As for the Japanese manual issue everyone talked about, I used an online. pdf translator. And I referred to other similar models with English manual. There are only a few setting to play with. 99% of the time I do not change the settings.

I have been using this device for 2 years now. Ever since I purchased it I dont need to make trips to store to buy bottled water. The taste of the water is awesome. Although the instructions manual came in Japanese only I was able to download the instructions in English from Panasonic Hong Kong website.

Works as advertised, needs a 100v transformer. However it’s dependency on a faucet override is the biggest problem, it depends on the valve on the faucet head to control flow to the unit so there’s no clean way to integrate it into your kitchen, the recommended install uses tie wraps.

Also in filter only mode, it continues to split the water flow into both the output and the discard channels, so if you permanently plumb this into an RO unit, it wastes half the RO water if you choose purification mode (even though this isn’t necessary when you’re not using the ionization feature, as the water at both electrodes is unchanged.
