A very funny movie with a humorous Love Story. I mean who wouldnt want to fly to Paris and spend thes rest of your life with Catherine Deneuve beside you! I know I fell in love with her the 1st time I saw this movie 40 or 50 years ago.

Was happy to find this and the quality is very good. This movie isn’t shown much on TV and not available on Netflix and Amazon streaming. It’s a true classic and very well acted by both Deneuve and Lemon.

Pleasantly haunting movie score too.

The movie was so entertaining and funny with a romantic twist. My sister is watching it now. Love the music!

~ Why ~ Every kid and adult love jokes, even the typical “knock-knock” ones or corny puns. I like having books to read for our four young grandchildren when they visit, especially if they are funny or produce laughter.

With these jokes been clean, they are not embarrassing or lewd while often being a play on words that have to be read not spoken to understand. I appreciate there is an ending chapter dedicated to writing in one’s own designed jokes, including five tips to get started.

Roman. The Big Book of Silly Jokes for Kids is filled with jokes, riddles, and lots of fun! There are knock, knock jokes, tongue twisters, puns, riddles, and even questions & answers. My five-year-old granddaughter loves jokes and riddles and even though some are too advanced for her to understand, there are still many that she can enjoy right now.

There is also a section called Longer Jokes and it is for anyone who loves jokes and wants to be able to tell them successfully, and if you want to write your own jokes, there are tips on how to do so.

Yes, this is a book for young people but it is great for the whole family and it is suitable for all ages! Carole P. Roman has written more than 50 children’s books and this is just another example of her expertise in entertaining and educating children because young readers will be anxious to read this fun book on their own! I received a complimentary PDF copy of this book but a review was not required.

I bought this for my 12 year old grandson and he loves it! He immediately went to work on the family to be the center of attention in telling funny jokes, or trying to stump us with a riddle. Its been a lot of fun for our whole family.

Silly jokes, just a few that really don’t make sense, most are just corny and fun. I’ve been able to share some of them with a much younger grandson who laughs heartedly at each joke! It was a great buy!! A+++.

My 7 year old son was looking for a new series. (He read Dog Man and Captain Underpants before this one. ) I’m glad someone suggested this one. He is into the series now. He has several books in the series, and sometimes I get really good prices at Target, including buy 2, get 1 free.

Sometimes we read them together, and my 5 year old likes to listen as well. We enjoy the movies as well.

My 10 year old son really likes these books. My 7 year old daughter is also beginning to show interest in these as well. I remember when my 22 year old nephew used to read these when he was younger. It seems kids have and will be interested in this series for time to come.

I LOVE this book SO much! It is about an average middle school boy whose life takes twists and turns in a whole series. I mean, this has been in my family for 20 years and it is still an amazing book.

The invisible string in my opinion is one of the best psychology books aimed at child anxiety for the child. You see a lot of children go through anxiety at one point or another and this normally presents itself in young children and children as separation anxiety all the fear of not knowing and therefore not wanting to be alone.

This can be overwhelming for the parent, and the parent can feel guilty that they have stuff that needs to be done, verses a child that wants your attention and will not do every day activities. for example go to school or play by themselves.

Parents often feel under equipped to deal with this level of distress they see in their child. Which is why this book is so important. It is simple and informative with clear wording and is easily followed by children.

The pictures are adorable and keeps even the busiest of kids focused on the message, which is even when you can’t see me or need to do something or go to school we are connected by an invisible string which is made of love and can’t be broken.

It can reach even all the way to the afterlife and space even to your bedroom or outside. Tho you may feel alone you never really are because I am with you. Yes it works my son who is ASD, ADHD lost his cat he died, ever since then he was afraid riddled with anxiety would not leave my side.

He had the worst anxiety I’ve seen in him. We read this book the next day he played outside for the first time in weeks, stoped calling out at night and turned all the lights out. he would remind him self that he was connected by the invisible string to Mama and Daddy.

So if you have a little one with anxiety I recommend this book read it often, remind them often and bring some peace back to your life. This was one of the best recommendations from my son’s therapist and I am happy to share this review so other families can find some peace and confidence.

A lovely story about attachment for young children (3-7 years old perhaps). It explains how attachments can exist despite any physical distance. My 5 year old loves this book and often talks about having invisible strings to certain people, and it’s a great way to understand who she feels attached to or love towards.

My only complaint about this book is it’s a little bit Americanised. but worth getting over that hurdle for such a gentle and sensitive message. Highly recommend!.

I was away with work and noticed my little boy struggling to articulate how he was feeling. I attempted to open dialogue but was terrible at it! This book is wonderful and we now use the concept of ‘invisible strings’ all the time.

It brings the level back to something a little brain can process and adapt to real life scenarios.

This book is ok. Not the best jokes. Some of them most kids would not get. My 6 year old still enjoys reading through it though.

I was in my second year of Nursing when Damon died 1. 4. 91 and I first read this book in 1999 following a recommendation by a colleague I was working with at the time. I can remember being gobsmacked when I first read it before the millennium because of the confrontational style of content the book presented in.

After 21 years I have chosen to read this book for a second time knowing the human pain and suffering described by a father who writes his words , his way on paper to reflect the hardships encountered with inclusion of all family members involved.

Mr Courtenay wrote, it was the hardest book he has ever written and I am truly grateful he had somehow made it to the end to include everyone involved in Damons care and the historical cultural aspects which reflect on Hospital diagnosis and treatment of that time.

It’s a historical time regarding health, with little information about Aids despite the television preventative health campaigns in Sydney before any world wide web presence. A necessary book for anyone who was in healthcare back then and reflection on how many things have changed as a result to new information regarding ill health and patient care.

I have previously owned this novel. I am looking forward to reading it again. Its puts life in perspective when I can relate to Bryces struggle at that time of his life and also the fact he was an extremely devoted father.

I cannot believe these reviews. Bought because of reviews and thank God i read it first. This is about a kid who gets bullied by his friend. this is not a good example for a child to read. Just because kids “like” it doesn’t mean it’s not giving them a bad impression of the world and what a healthy relationship and friendship is.

If it’s marketed to kids, they will usually be open to it. It’s up to adults, who should be wiser, to screen this. I don’t know about the other books in this series but I just don’t think this is appropriate or healthy.

Don’t complain about mood issues when this is what the kids are reading. I would prefer something inspirational.

This was purchased for a pre-teen moving to a new school. The book introduces the idea that not everyone who says they are your friend will treat you well, and I think the idea here is to help kids look carefully rather than accepting people at face value.

However, it also seems to build in the idea that not everyone who treats you badly is a truly bad person, so you need to use your own judgement when deciding how much you are willing to deal with to keep a ‘friend’.

Can a poor friendship grow into something better? Not sure how well this book manages to handle all this weight, but its done in the currently popular style, and at the very least should prompt some discussions with parents.

My child has read all of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books and was excited to start a new series by the same author. They were so excited when I showed them the new book. They immediately sat down and began reading it.

Now we are just waiting for the release of the next book in this series and the next new book of the Diary of a Wimpy kid series as well.

I bought two of these chairs to test them out. We fell in love with their cool style, and OMG they are SO comfortable. I have a bad back and I can sit in these for hours. We’ve since bought two more, and I may have to get another four for our other deck.

We bought black, but I may have to go for one of the luscious colors. LOVE THESE CHAIRS!.

The Acapulco Rocker is stunning! It’s not only beautifully designed but also comfortable. The fact that it rocks on such elegant legs is an additional plus. It makes a great statement on our deck!

I have purchased many furniture items online, and am usually very happy. I have never been more shocked about the poor quality of an item than this chair. It took a very long to arrive. The chair is made out of cheap plastic, I feel like it is going to break when I sit in it.

The screws did not go into place to get the legs on. When I try to get out of it, it feels like it’s going to tip over. I attempted to return the chair and fully expected to pay shipping fees, as that is a risk you take with online shopping.

However, the seller is charging a 25% restocking fee, plus shipping. I have never heard of this before. With shipping I would be paying for nearly half the cost of the chair to return it. Unbelievably disappointed.

Would not recommend.

Please dont buy this chair. It says its for children up to 90lbs. The first time my 50lb child sat it in, the chair flipped over and she whacked her head hard. We spent the night watching her for signs of concussion.

It looks adorable, but its not safe.

Your employee was very understanding about my concern. thank you. the great little gift was just as accepted as when my other great granddaughter rec’d her lavender one.

My grandson loves his recliner! He sits in the recliner and watches tv for hours and sometimes he’ll fall to sleep. The cup holder is so convenient.

I purchased this book and the other one in the series for my 12 year old Grandson who doesn’t enjoy reading much to my disappointment. The Wimpy Kid Books are the only books he will read cover to cover without having to be told to.

I will continue to try to broaden his interests but in the meantime I am so glad he has found this one and I love shopping at BAM with the huge selection and very helpful employees every time I visit.

Such a great book series for kids! lots of laughs! My 12 year old son read the book in a couple hours and had great laughs! My 10 year old son is reading the book now and loves it because we are campers! My 8 year old daughter has read book 1 and is working on reading the next book!.

This book is awesome, it’s over-arcing story about foxes is unbelievable. You learn how foxes hunt, live, and survive. My favorite chapter is ‘The Anatomy. ‘ It tells you all about the body of a fox.

This is an amazing book. GO FOXESSSS!!!!!.

Stephen King AND George A Romero– TOGETHER again for the film adaptation of the 1980s TV series, Tales from the Darkside. This 1990 film stars many of the popular stars of that era and into today. Featuring Steve Buscemi, Christian Slater, Blondie (Debbie Harry), and many more.

This film is a compilation of three short stories by Stephen King, George A Romero and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (Sherlock Holmes fame). Each story delves deep into the macabre with each one trumping the next to achieve a scarier and sharper twist as the film goes on.

The continuing story features a young Matthew Lawrence being held captive by a local witch. Attempting to plead for his life and buy some time before the witch eats him, he tells three scary stories with some interesting segues.

Unique and interesting this film is a must watch for fans of the TV series, subject matter or campy early 90s horror. I give this film 4 out of 5 stars because it lacks the completeness of a full film and would recommend it to only certain individuals who could appreciate it for what it is.

Fun, predictable horror with some clever twists, great acting and nice camera angles. Low budget look and 90s story material for a RETRO original. Directed by John Harrison.

I bought this product because I was looking for April fools Day. It came in a tree pack along with Tales From The Darkside and Graveyard Shift. I am an old school horror fan , and new school horror just SUX.

I like this product because it’s 3 horror movies without all the silliness, and stupidity you find in todays flicks. I would recommend these 3 movies to any horror fan. Those young ones who need to see what a good horror movie is check these, and others like Friday the 13th :).

This is a great set of 3 DVDs, I was expecting all three movies on one DVD. Instead It is a beautiful collection of three DVDs in one triple case. The quality is first class and the movies are great.

I loved April Fool’s Day from seeing it years ago. I recommend this set to anyone that is looking for either of these movies. Great viewing pleasure.

My son loved this book. He thinks the banter between Rowley and Greg is hilarious, but he likes Rowley more than Greg. It’s great the there seems to be a new book series around the Rowley Character. He just started Awesome Friendly spooky stores and he is enjoying it very much.

It was very creative and had many of pictures. It was very interesting and it was hard to stop reading.

My kids loved it. Between my 9 and 10 year old, it had been read 2 times in 6 hours…which was slightly annoying lol…wish they would have drawn it out a little Wonderful book
