NVX VAD17001 1700W RMS Class D Monoblock Car/Marine/Powersports Amplifier with …
If youre looking for big power, the VAD17001 Monoblock Amplifier is the amplifier for you. Delivering up to 1700W of true RMS power to one channel, you should have no problem powering the biggest and baddest subwoofer.
Being marine certified, this mono amp is built to last in the marine environment, as marine amplifiers can withstand light rain, moisture and damaging sun rays. This Subwoofer Amplifier the perfect application for achieving huge bass in your car, motorcycle, ATV, UTV, or boat.
Comparable to Rockford Fosgate Prime R1200-10 & Skar Audio SKv2-1500. 1D.
Decided on this amp for our soft top Jeep due to price point and the fact that it is marine certified. Installed easily under the front passenger seat. Pushing Focal components in front, Focal coaxes in soundbar, and a 12 sub in a sealed box.
Plays loud and clear once tuned correctly. Running off 4 AWG power/ground and signal is from Amppro 4 AP4-CH41 with factory HU. Only issue I found was that the rear gain (CH 3/4) had to be turned way down so it did not over power the front channels.
Could possibly be the placement of the rear soundbar speakers (right at the back of your head). Jeep is a 2021 with the 7 Uconnect. I would imagine that amp would perform ever better with a good aftermarket head unit.
Highly recommend this amp. Disclaimer: Pic was initial install and testing. Wiring has since been cleaned up.
This amp is great, it drives my whole system in my Jeep. It runs four 6. 5 JBL component speakers and one 10 alpine sub. Will I win any sound competitions, nope but can I rock out and make my kids complain about 80-90s thrash and heavy metal on the interstate with the top down and doors off, definitely.
It has a small footprint and does not produce hardly any heat. I was worried about over heating it bc it is mounted tucked way up under my driver seat were it is barely visible. It barely gets warm. The build quality is better than I expected and the cross over and adjustability works great for me.
R500X1D Are you ready for a dedicated subwoofer amplifier? The Prime R500X1D is the perfect companion for any Car Audio Fanatic getting into mobile audio who wants a two-amplifier system: one amp running mids/highs and the second running subwoofers.
This amplifier features variable Punch Bass, variable crossovers, Pass-Thru jacks to daisy chain another amplifier, and a remote Punch Level Control for mounting under the dash or the center console.
I was skeptic about this amp when I bought it. Depending on what you use it for, it will perform as expected. The total watts on the birth sheet is way underrated. I think it puts out more than they claim.
I have this amp running a Scar Audio 8 inch sub at a 2 ohm load. The sub is in a good quality baffled box. I’m also using OFC wiring which makes a ton of difference! The amp does not run hot. This simple combo sounds incredible.
I have this in a Chevy HHR. In case you are wondering this amp is stable at 2ohms. I would recommend it. The best way I can describe the amount of bass I experience in my car: All three mirrors vibrate, the hair on my head tingles, and I cannot help but to smile when I turn it up.
It’s worth every penny if you want my opinion. Just remember to use OFC wiring. Don’t waste your money on cheap junk wire for a set up like this. Enjoy!.

Ive been through countless monoblocks. 500 w all the way up to 10k. The efficiency of this one is mind blowing. At the moment its pushing one dbdrive g5 15 inch. One bass is violent. Im afraid its gunna lessen the life of my car.
This amp is expensive but the old saying stands true on this one for sure. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I also have 6 t-600. 4 pushing 32 speakers in my Camry. , with a 400amp alternator and 4 xs power batteries.
Dont buy any of these bad boys if your not gunna feedum. I plan on getting another r-2500 and strapping them to a 19 inch Fosgate sub. Im sure it will shake my car to rubble. If you dont want to mess around or play around with less than mediocre equipment go with the power series of Fosgate.
Forget the off brand amps that lie about power. This babys birth-sheet says 1929 watts RMS at 1 ohm and it delivers like a pro. Sleek look with power for any hungry sub. Upgrade your alternator. get you that AGP battery, and crank the volume.
Windshield shattering raw BASS. This amp needs serious juice to run. Feed it right and it will eat the competition. I have two of these; each powering a T1 15 and I dont know how to describe it. Wow is all I can say!!.
This amp is awesome, expensive stuff always cost that much for a reason. Not because a simple logo brand. I purchase many but many amps through the years for personal use and i never ended satisfied.
Im not a PRO so i always had distorted bass, if i put a little too much the bass would stop for no reason. It was just a pain, I blamed my wiring, my subwoofer speakers, my speaker box. I always ended disappointed.
I always thought that if i wanted a good sound i needed a higher wattage amp. I never searched them by their true real power RMS. This amp is pushing my JL shallow speakers on my single cab truck to the max.
Its loud and clear and now I can feel the music. My seat feels like a chair massage. Buy it you won’t be disappointed. I really wanted their T1500-1BDCP amp but was nearly $800 new. But I don’t regret buying this one because does what i wanted.
An awesome choice whether you want to add one or multiple subwoofers to your vehicle. The P3 10″ subwoofers can be used in either sealed or ported enclosures, plus you’ll get the wiring flexibility of dual voice coils.

I am writting my review to off set the ones that shouldnt be here. First off, the offer clearly states for one subwoofer. It is not false advertising if you didnt read what you where purchasing. Second, if you are with in your return policy, you go through the distributor.
Outside of the return policy, you go through the manufacturer. Simple. As for the sub. They are great. What makes them so good is the amount of mass that is moving. It gives them a very forceful low frequency range and excellent power handling.
Biggest problem is people under power these because they hook them up to junk amps with bs wattage and huge distortion ratios.
I had the 15 inch model but i couldnt fit it in my new car because of height restrictions, so i bought this to replace it. The price sonic offers it for is a steal because its twice the price on Rockfords website atleast, and this sub competes with alot of higher priced higher end subs.
i have this sub in a ported box with the port facing inward towards the car to reduce rattling and increase my spl and gain in the cabin and i have it hooked to a JL 500, at first i notice that it sounded very deep compared to my last subs i had which were 2 12 jbl gtos, the only thing was it didnt really sound good on rock and metal like the jbls did but once i broke it in for a few months i can say it surpassed the GTOs on every level and pounded harder than the 2 of them.
The SQ you can get out of this sub is Amazing for the price because i listen to everything from rap to oldschool rock and metal. Bands like sublime and korn really sound better with this sub. SPL wise it hits really hard for one 12.
Ive tried Jbl, Mtx, And Jl audio ranging from the w1 to the w6v3 and i will say this sub is the best bang for your buck SQ and SPL wise, In a sealed box it has SQ and in a ported box it has great SQL just dont tune your box to rockfords 40 hertz tune it in the low 30s and it will really shine.
i had my 15 hooked to 1400 watts on a power series 1000. 1 and it never blew even when i tried to take it out so i know you can rely on this sub for reliability because Rockford deosnt play no games when it comes to great Quality.

I have to say that I had the best experience dealing with Matt and The whole team at CT Sounds. They make a great product and stand behind that product 100%, if you ever have an issue with anything they will take care of you quickly and will keep you updated every step of the way.
I’m very happy with my 2 Tropo 8″ Subwoofers and CT1500. 1 Amplifier. It sounds amazing and I will continue to use CT Sounds in all my future vehicles as long as they are around. With the business they have grown I feel they will be around for a long time.
Thanks again Bart, Matt, and the Whole Team at CT Sounds. 5 Stars *****.
I’ve been using two of these amps for months and have found zero problems with them. During me installing these amps I mistakenly swapped polarity on the power input, as a result the amp protect turned on and amp was fine.
I’ve used many other amps with an amp protect and they’ve been ruined doing this. This shows for the price you’re really getting what you’re being promised. I’ve been running a single meso 12 d2 on each amp and at full tilt most of the time.
With minimal air flow and in the hot kanses heat these amps have fair extremely well. The black looks great and is fairly scratch resistant. The amps came with all of the listed items including a bass knob, screws and misc.
wiring bits. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my amps and would recommend them to anyone. They’re super budget friendly.
The amp preforms well. It hooked up to an 15”MTX square sub. It’s in a prefabricated box with a port. It’ll make your eyes water. But hooking the amp up was a game of guess what goes where. There were no instructions and no links at CT sound.
If you need to quickly add bass to a system or want to alleviate the hassle of separate amplifiers and subwoofers, then the P300-12 is the right one for the job! The P300-12 features a Punch 12″ subwoofer in a custom sealed enclosure and is powered by a mighty 300 Watt amplifier.
The system is all-inclusive, so you only need to run power, ground and a signal from the source to get this baby moving. Features a durable exterior that resists scrapes and bumps while in the trunk or cargo area.
I bought this because it had good reviews, was priced under $200, had 300 Watts RMS and was self contained. I added it along side a 400w 4 channel amp powering my 4 cabin speakers with a capacitor to keep it all smooth.
I am thoroughly impressed. Being a sealed box, it has clean deep booms at all volume levels. Now that I’ve heard it, I want more power. but this is my wife’s car. So it does just fine for her. It really compliments the overall harmony of the cabin speakers and fills the whole car with that wonder clean boom.
Had a little trouble setting the gain, but after tripping the internal thermal shut off and letting it cool off and reset, everything worked out. This speaker works perfectly for a slightly modified system with little extra work to install.
You do have to have adequate power I ran 4 awg @ 20 ft run, including ground length, for trunk install, and ground along with an optional trigger wire (unless you want to switch it to constant on or audio signal on).
Be sure to properly fuse it. YouTube it if you do not know what size and locations to install them. I highly recommend it for any beginner to average Joe.
This is a very nice powered subwoofer. I owned this model before, and I liked it very much. I ended up selling that one when I sold my car. That was a few years ago. Missing that bass in my current car, I ended up buying an Alpine PWA-S10V.
While it was a nice powered subwoofer setup, it didn’t fulfill my needs. Plus, the amp is advertised as 250 watt RMS @ 2 ohms, but the sub was a 4 ohm sub. So, the amp was only producing 150 watts. Stupid of Alpine not to match that amp with a 2 ohm sub.
So, I ended up buying another RF P300-12. It did not disappoint. Gave me what I was looking for and then some. This sub hits for the type of music I listen to, everything from modern rock, classic rock, classical, old school rap and some modern rap.
I will admit this doesn’t get that super low bass found on some rap songs since it’s a sealed enclosure, but it does quite well for most of my music. I do have plans of replacing this with a custom setup when the weather gets warmer.
This subwoofer has an switch that allows you to select auto power off when it does not sense signal on coming from the factory car stereo. I purchased this subwoofer for that specific feature. One less wire to run is a great option.
I ran all the wires, reassembled my car’s interior. The subwoofer sounded great for a coule of trips around town. Then I returned home and turned off my car, the sub started humming/resonating extremely loud.
If it would have been night time I would have woken my neighbors. I called Rockford Fosgate tech support and was told the auto sensing feature does not work well and I can return the subwooder if needed.
What the Hell?!? After I’ve purchased the subwoofer and wired everything, they just expect me to return the sub?!? I will be contacting Rockford Fosgate again to complain. This is ridicuolous!.

I purchased this product because it was one of the smallest, lightest amplifiers in its class with great power output for 4-channel audio. Overall, the sound is great, very clean, even with the differential balanced inputs from the factory audio outputs.
Rockford Fosgate has the built-in circuitry to circumvent that factory noise-isolation technique, which is nice. Some vendors’ methods work better than others, obviously. The installation was easy and the connections seem solid with good mounting points for the amplifier built-in.
As far as things to be concerned with, there are a few. First, be sure to have an inline fuse at 30 amps as there is no fuse on the unit itself. Also, while this says it’s a very efficient device and doesn’t consume much power, that’s only true at idle.
While under full operation and the BRT (boosted rail technology) light is fluttering, power draw is significant. At full volumes, this amp will drain your battery as quickly as any other amplifier. With this and another relatively small amplifier, the parking lights on my car were dimming from the current draw even with a 6A battery charger attached to the car while it wasn’t running.
Also, be advised that you CANNOT run this in a three-channel configuration where the front two channels drive the front speakers and the rear two channels are bridged to power a single subwoofer – that’s a no-go.
Also, there is NO WAY to turn off RF’s PowerEQ. This probably isn’t a problem for most, but it’s always better to have options. Mated with the PBR300X2 for a subwoofer, which IS bridgeable, this small duo offers a great solution for those with efficiency and size on their mind.
This amp has a lot of power. The only problem that I have with it is that it gets so hot in the trunk of my motorcycle (2004 GL1800). Now i have to rig up something with fans and cut holes in my trunk compartment to get it some air to keep it cool.
As it is now, I cant put anything else in the trunk because it will melt anything that it touches and becomes a waist of trunk space. Funny how this was designed for motorcycles in mind; when this amp gets so hot that when you find a location to mount it, you have to make sure that there is plenty of clearance from ABS plastics and wires so they don’t melt.
Not 100% sure but i think this thing drains my battery. I guess it has to with all that power it is putting out so the engine has to be running. I think when the voltage gets to about 11, there isn’t enough power to push out the sound and the sound disappears for a half second and comes back on.
This is my first time messing with an amp, but installation was easy.
This amp fits perfectly behind the rear seats of my f-150 Super-crew. The mono sub amp is identical and sits right beside this one. This amp powers four 6×8 Rockford 1683s and the sub amp powers one thin mount Rockford 8″ sub.
I was able to keep the majority of my storage under the rear seats and still have an incredible sound system. The sound quality is amazing and I love the fact that these little power house amps gave me install options that I could not find in other full size amps.

This wiring kit does not include speaker wire or patch cables. Your amp needs big power wires in order to deliver top performance to your sound system. Rockford Fosgate’s RFK4 amplifier power wiring kit supplies everything you’ll need to send power to amplifiers with fuse ratings of up to 100 amperes.
Rockford Fosgate makes the 4-gauge cable from 100% pure crystal-oxygen free copper wire so you can count on maximum signal transfer.
This 4 Gauge is truly 4 gauge. Sure you could find a less expensive set but some of the cheaper sets have less strands and bigger rubber around the wire to give it the appearance of a full 4 gauge. Everything is quality here and the ring terminals are already attached so that you don’t have to buy a lug crimper or go “old-school” with a hammer.
Definitely happy with this purchase. Trust the name.
Great product and matched it up with Fosgate amp. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the fuse holder is already attached to a piece of about a 1 piece of power wire. I would prefer to leave it up to me to make the decision on how long and just tell people it should be 12-18 from the battery because in my install it forced me to put it in a location I preferred not to, otherwise great product.

I order the 260w and I got the 130w anyway!! I was checking the 130w wich it’s cheaper but I still went for the 260w I’m assuming that is 260w per pair not per speaker. you need to fix your advertising!!! The product is really good.
but honestly I didn’t get what I paid for. I should have gone for 130w in the beginning and could had save myself some money. (check the price on the 130w and ”260w ” and find out for yourself.
Purchased two sets to replace my factory door speakers in a 2013 F-150 XLT Super Crew. One set came with a faulty speaker which is promptly being taken care of. I read many reviews before purchasing these speakers and assumed from the information that sound quality would be greatly improved even using the factory head unit.
Boy was I ever disapointed. Bass has to be turned down to less than half. The middles and highs are actually quite good. I am thinking that a four channel amp will probably make an improvement, as I beleive that these speakers need some power to play nice.
My fault I guess for paying attention to many reviews. I intend to purchase a four channel amp soon and will re-post and let you know.
Very nice speakers. Sound great. Only issue is the little tabs to attach speaker wires are bigger than usual. Had to use a flat head screwdriver and a vise to make the wire side tabs bigger. Installed a set of kickers at the same time and those had the right size connectors.
Maximum output 160W x 4ch. A digital power amplifier that achieves overwhelmingly high sound quality. It also supports a variety of systems. It also supports front SP + subwoofer and 2ch. BTL connection.

I purchased this amp because at the time of the purchase I wasnt very clear on what amp would be the best for my new sets of speakers. I bought this since I was under the impression that Alpine was good.
The car audio shop that installed it has connected the speaker wires wrong, + was inserted into – for both of my front door speakers. I was not happy for a long time, until I wanted to play with gains and crossovers where I found a wrongly connected wires.
After I re-connected them properly, the 55 wrms was an absolute reincarnation! I never imagined that 55 rms can be that loud. This amp makes my front door speakers literally scream! I cranked my music for about 2 hours at the highest possible volume and the amp was stone cold! amazing! I would definitely purchase the alpine 4 channel amplifiers in future.
This amp is an amazing little find. For around $150 you get good clean sound and versatility. The alpine brand is a brand you can trust. This is my second alpine amp and I am impressed. I have it pushing some focal 6.
5 components and 6. 5 coaxial rated at 70rms. This amp pushes them with no problem. If you can find the S series version of this amp for $200 dollars, get it. If not, this amp will not disappoint. I would buy again for $150 or less.
I used this in unison with my stock speakers while replacing the factory “premium” sound system’s amplifier. Using an external processor I fed the signal to this amplifier and, wow! It really opened everything up.
It’s amazing what a true 60w RMS will do to speakers that normally only receive 20w at most. A definite upgrade over any stock system – amplified or not. I also previously used a PDX-F6 in my previous build.
Although it was equally as clean it was pushing much more power hungry speakers. If you’re wanting to push lower end aftermarkets or simply open up your stock speakers this is a great amplifier to start.

This amp impressed me. As always Fosgate lives up to there name, and always under rated. Bought a Prime series flat mount 12′ Subwoofer to fit in my new car to minimize the space, I had a Planet Audio 1500W Mono amp runnin g to this sub and it would clip out.
Mind you I ran this amp in my other SUV and had np problems. Since I had the Fosgate prime 12′, I decided to match it with this amp since there both compact and small, and also rated at the same wattage.
To my suprise, this set up sounded even better than the one I had in my other car, take it I was running bigger wattage. I would reccomend this amp, SMALL PACKAGE BIG PUNCH. this amp puts out!!!!.
I can already tell the difference in the bass sound and the power delivered to my Polk 12″. I had the 250XD1 and that amp was not only larger, but didn’t push my 12″ nearly as good. My only hope is that it lasts.
My other RF overheated and failed after a year. So fingers crossed that my system just needed a better amp. I also had a fan, new power supply and a capacitor installed to avoid future problems.
What can I say? this smallish amp packs a ton of power. and it’s class D design keeps things cool with it’s low power draw. The sub frequencies are low and powerful. As always Rockford amps out preform it’s rated specs.
The XD700/5v2 is ideal for a complete audiophile-grade, subwoofer + four satellite system, and it fits comfortably in just about any vehicle. With this incredible little amplifier, you can drive two pairs of quality component speaker systems with plenty of clean power, while also delivering a stout 300 W of power to a subwoofer system.
The breakthrough that makes this much power possible in such a small chassis is NexD switching design. The XD700/5v2 also features the v2 Spec feature set, which consists of automatic turn-on capability, and a dual-range differential-balanced input section able to handle a wide range of input voltage levels.
With the addition of an HD-RLC remote level control, the amplifier’s level can be directly controlled from the driver’s seat. This amplifier features a black powder-coat finish and a gasketed, brushed aluminum cover for the controls.

Purchased this amp to replace two amps. I m running Focal Proformance speakers on the main channels and 2 12TW3 on the low channel. The vocals scream and lows hit hard and clean. Sound is clean very defined.
The sound quality is on par with high dollar audiophile equipment This amp is small for the power it puts out. Takes up hardly no space at all. As a one and done power solution this amp is great. JL Audio is a great company many of there products made right here in America.
I highly recommend this app as a system amplifier you ll absolutely love the sound it produces.
